This by far the BEST version of this song I have ever heard and I have listened to many. It has the perfect combination of jazz and rock. And my friends have the nerve to ask why friends why I listen to Bruce's music all day every day? Case closed!
Tell your friends that right now.....they have the best of Bruce. Tell them to listen to Born in the USA. Then listen to this. What a jam session and I am 50!
The Brass just blows me away ! The Irishman, who "turned me on" to Bruce Springsteen, he had his hand in the music and club scene in Chicago, late 70's through mid 80's. Chicago Style Productions. Mr. Dugin. He got talent to come do a neighborhood festival, called, Lincoln Ave. Street Fair. Brought in from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Paul Cebar and the Hey Horn Brothers. What an awesome horn section ! These guys were great ! Big sound ! From that weekend on, I wanted Horns, with my Rock ! It grew to include, strings, and a choir ! The whole package ! Just like I imagined it in my head, before I heard it ! Other great artists did the same. Billy Joel had an orchestra. ELO had an orchestra. I'm thinking, this is exactly what I envisioned ! Bruce and Company, did it so well. All around the Globe. He'd have the band deliver, his music, styled to where they were playing ! He was, and is, brilliant at it. Spain, Germany, the UK, wherever the concert, the flavor of the music, in that locale, he's working it in. It's really quite amazing to me. Louisiana, USA, he's got that Nawlins sound and twist ! Sweden, he's saying something in Swedish, music, keyed to the style in Sweden. Close to the Mexican border...that Spanish guitar 🎸 ! He's the best. He and his band, the Best ! Thanks Bruce and the E Street Band. 👍🍻
Seven songs. The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle has been my favorite album since I first heard it in 1973. I love it more than any Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, anybody.
Brilliant! Love the way Max reverentially quietens the cymbals before Bruce starts to sing. Seen Bruce live but never witnessed Kitty's Back. Would love to have been there. Worth the admission price for that song alone. Don't know where it came in the concert but it's hard to believe he could have topped that. But he very probably did! Awesome!!
If there's ever going to be a woman I'm willing to commit to, she's going to be the one dancing to Springsteen at 05:39 AM (like it is right now here in Finland) with me, and when Bruce goes "Kitty's back in town!", she'll go nuts the way I just did. Women come and go, but Springsteen is forever.
When you play the Garden you better bring it. No problem for Bruce and the E street band. If you've never heard Hammersmith Odeon '75 version of this you should.

Seen this video 500 times and I still can't get enough of it. It defies description. Simply a masterpiece. Hope he tours with the band again soon!

Mad Max is amazing. I love the ringing in my ears after this song!
The last part, the horns... it's freaking awesome...
The bassline is awesome!
Plus le temps passe, plus on se rend compte qu'il a du talent Gary... Pour l'avoir entendu en vrai une fois, je confirme...
Wow,Wow, Wow. The power the nuance, the horns, the crowd the whole package. Bruce does it right. E Street band gets Jazzy.
On the seventh day, God created Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. They cooked with grease on this number.

Incredible!!!!!! Bruce forever.
Simply why he is called "The Boss".......Incredible!!!!

The Guitar 🎸 he keeps beside his bed.
Qu'est ce que c'est une prestation live ? Et bien, c'est ça !
qu'est ce que tu veux dire après çà?
to comment is to judge. stands alone
Was this the Seeger Session tour?
First.
too slow
Wish Davey was on this.
I have never understood musicians putting those long instrumentals in their songs. A bit boring.
