A fantastic option for the UK, wasn't sold on the scales at first but I have to say, as I've delved further into the hobby, they just make sense. cheers!
This is the first and only Spyderco I've bought, and I mainly got it to see what the fuss was about. At first I was underwhelmed by the little bit of plastic at the price, but it has gradually been impressing me. Love the lightness, the comfort in hand, the ease of opening/closing, the simplicity, the blade shape, the blade thinness, the steel, the colour, even the clip (and I hate clips). Would I buy another Spyderco? Probably not, because I still think they're pig ugly (I'm a traditionals man through and through), but I'm pleased I have this one!
I honestly understand the whole price point on plastic thing too as that was debatable for me when I first brought it 😂. Absolutely down to a t what I would say too man 👍🏼, I too wasn’t a clip man but since I got this one I actually like them way more haha. Ugly yes most of them but a few that I like the look of like the SPITS. I am so glad you are happy with yours though ! 👊🏼🙏🏼. Take care
I've had this a long time now, and in my opinion, it's the best, modern style, knife, that we can carry, here in England... I've had lots of new knives, since I bought this, (including the HH version). But I just keep returning to this, as the knife, I grab, nearly every day.. Please don't knock it, just because you don't like the shape, or prefer "traditional" knives. Imho, this is one of the best knives in the world. (for the UK)... SuperSteel, ultra lightweight, one hand opening and closing, perfect pocket clip... What more do you need. ?
I have to agree with you there, it is one of the best on the market for a uk friendly EDC for sure ! I’ve been after the HH version for the best part of a year now, So scarce to come by. I think that’s good way to go, giving it a chance is what’s needed, I know I did and it suits me great. Perhaps a little too light but can be sorted with new scales. Thanks for your testimonial on the UKPK s110v 👊🏼, I know others will appreciate it 🙏🏼.
Agree great video I just can’t like Spyderco knifes when they first came out I bought the ukpk squeak and Pingo there just not for me. Hope your keeping well and stay safe
Everybody has their own taste of knives man and spyderco is not for you and thats fair 👌🏼👍🏼. I love a spydie, I didn’t at first as the don’t fold away as much 🤷🏼♂️. I appreciate that man thank you ! 🙏🏼 yes I am am keeping well and safe at the minute 👌🏼👍🏼. I do hope you are as well 👊🏼
Great video 👍.i picked up the squeak while I’m waiting for the ukpk to come back into stock to see how I liked the frn handle material which I’m fine with👍 but I meant to ask you earlier on instagram (I’m thebestedc2020 by the way) the pivot on it constantly came lose😭 did you have the same problem with this model? Or was I just unlucky?😂 it’s my only U.K. legal spyderco and I didn’t have this issue with my g10 turn or any of my locking spydercos.
Thank you man muchly appreciated 🙏🏼🙏🏼! Glad you can deal with the frn I was the same till I got one and wasn’t as bad at all 😂. Of course any questions welcomed 👍🏼. Hmm interesting have you tried a tiny bit of locktite on the pivot screw ? I had that once and it sorted that out. But that was on another blade not a spyderco. I haven’t had them come loose and mine all snap into the half stop and full lock the same as from day one. Maybe you did just get unlucky man 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Would love to see this back in stock in the UK
Great video and great knife mate! Keep up the great work🙏🏻 love how lightweight yet affective the lightweight UKPK is! All UKPKs in fact!
Thank you bud ! Much appreciated the constant support 🙏🏼👌🏼! Yes I second that as well, they are a great carry and deffo going to try get the HH one 🤙🏼
