Great moving, my dear friends! Wonderful idea, thank you!
JOINING THE GLOBAL MOVEMENT, TO GET A BETTER WORLD, ALL TOGETHER
What an incredible video. Kudos to everyone who worked on this!
Nice video! The MSLS, masters in strategic leadership towards sustainability held in Karlskrona, Sweden, will be there. :)
Greetings from San Diego ! :)
Love it
Moving towards a cleaner planet and environment...
biking that day for sure
Really great vid. Great cause. Woo hoo!
It really is admirable to watch you people try to mobilize for this to happen, but it doesn't matter how many of you try, it's not going to make a difference. The market is what makes the difference. When solar, wind, etc. cost less than fossil fuels, then you guys get your green paradise. Just be patient, it's coming!
I'm there!
Los "Ciclistas por la Patagonia" (ciclistasporlapatagonia.cl) presentes!
Be ready!
hektik video editing!!!
In response to ds9quark ; we do not have to keep producing electricity with coal and continue to power our transportation grid with oil. This is why you need to join us and help push our civilization off fossil fuels. The technology is here.
this might help to put things into perspective:
According to the United Nations 170,000 square kilometers of forest is destroyed each year. If we constructed solar farms at the same rate, we would be finished in 3 years that would power the whole world
@solarstoned34 Right...we only have to build 510,000 square kilometers of solar panels...that's totally as cheap and easy as chopping down trees.
@ds9quark it's not my video so youtube will not link me link it. There's over 20 vids though. Just type EV2 electric jeep into youtube search. I'm not "holier than thou" but I am sick of NIMBYs.
GreenTV is volunteering to put this video on the GreenTV site and submit to
CNN. Does anyone know how to reach Bill McKibben, co-founder of 350?
This is Jonathan Lake, founder of GreenTV which I created 15-years ago when dying from Cancer caused by pollution.
My best to Bill, all at 350.org and to all here!
@ds9quark ev2 runs 10 cents a litre on a jeep ... look it up
@ds9quark Well lets change that get a solar panel or solar device charger and fuel the change yourself.
I want to live just like Gore, everything big with a private jet on top!
@GreenTV - Please change your name. Green Party of various countries already have a Green TV
Time to leave all fossil fuel in the past and look for alternatives. Yes, it can be done.
To the "monkey wrenchers" and the "individual choicers," you're both correct. If you can influence the energy power brokers, then do so, but that usually requires a great deal of money. If you have no clout to bend their ears, then be liviing a example of personal responsibility to those around you.
As for me, I live over 50 miles from the nearest event, so I will do my part by staying home. And, no, I have no interest in organizing an event on my farm.
@mphello HUH?
@ds9quark get over yourself and realize it is possible not to destroy the ecosystem we need to live and still get energy
@ds9quark you are naive sir, and so are the NIMBYs. It has been calculated we can power countries on renewables, but just like the tabacco lobbyists there is major support to destroy us all still.
@solarstoned34 Actually no, I prefer the government not being in the business of deciding what form of energy we use.
Meet ya in Kyiv, Ukraine.
P.s. Fossils are disliked this video :(
@goodwifeweaver The encouraged idea that through your individual choices you will make a noticeable difference, that the cause of the problem is our consumption choices is one which industry and globalised corporations would love you to believe. These views detract from the key players, they remove any sense of accountability from those who actually hold the power in our capitalist globalised world. Money and purchasing power run the show.
Monkey-wrench the system before its too late.
@ds9quark SMH...absolutely clueless of how an economy works or how reality works. You have your own opinions about how things should be and you want the government to force people to live that way...you're just as bad as those social conservatives trying to make it so women can't have abortions.
