It's of course a combination of everything (just having the genetics doesn't mean you'll achieve greatness), just like simply focusing on training but with poor diet, or having great diet and training but poor sleep won't achieve much. It's a combo of everything and Ronnie had it all: the freak genetics combined with the discipline. You can't beat that
One of the greatest of all time here showing us what he eats in his humble abode. In stark contrast to today's instragram bodybuilders showing off their megamansions while showing us their diet. This video sends an implied message: it doesn't matter how big your house is or how thick the marble benchtop in your kitchen is, it's not going to make *you* any bigger than you are. There is no substitute for hard work and discipline, they can't be bought.
100% agree
The...greatest of all time.
When are they going to start wearing shirts that say STEROIDS on them instead of the BOGUS supplements they endorse?
STEROID CROOKS!
Stay natural buddy!
Steroids, everyone is on steroids
We are RUINING the ROIDER'S & STEROID DEFENDER'S FANTASY! Let's continue to EXPOSE them!
They want to walk around with their FAKE STEROID muscles acting like they "worked harder" than everyone else!
I don't get all excited over these STEROID FAKES!
Stay natural buddy!
For someone always so pumped up, hes hella chill at home. I thought he'd be watching sports screaming "LIGHTWEIGHT BABY!" with the TV on 11 lol
2000s bodybuilding had different energy, the animal paks with the inspirational posters, Ronnie vs jay, flex magazine. Met-rx red t shirts and hoodies
'animal pak' brought back a damn SENSE memory, and how that cylinder full of little crinkly bags smelled yEAAAAG BUDDAAAAAAYHH
@@c.E_VO they fucking stankkk
Imagine if Ronnie was in his prime in this day and age with all the social media and stuff... the money he would have made now vs then would be outrageous
Ronnie watching South Park is a trip 😂
I love how simple Ronnie goes about his life. Nothing out of the ordinary just a positive guy all around.
The true smile on his face while being so positive towards his life is something we can truly admire! Out of this world dedication and discipline! 😊😊
Ronnie Coleman is a legend. 8 times Mr. Olympia says it all. "LIGHT WEIGHT, BABY, LIGHT WEIGHT"
Best bodybuilder to watch. Made life look easy
coz life is easy....
One of my favorite bodybuilders along with Arnold. His positivity is contagious 💪🏻🔥
Most inspiration bodybuilder of all time! So positive and disciplined
The ultimate bodybuilder. Meaning the last one that ever portrayed the lifestyle as positive and inspiring regardless if his champion genetics were unobtainable. Wonderful man. Thanks for posting.
Ronnie is a very humble and pleasant man🙏
Imagine seeing Big Ron in person during his prime.
I met him in 03'-04' he was guest posing at a local show.He was a monster,we were the same height and he was 100lbs.heavier than me at that time. 😂
@@georgeg7628 only 100lbs ?
I met him in 06. He was pretty huge even though I was a few inches taller than him.
I met him a couple times, both at Olympias. Super nice guy.
Met him in 1996 while in uniform when he was a cop. No I wasn’t in trouble lol.
Gotta love the 90s home decor. This video was already awesome, but the backgrounds were so nostalgic 😌
for some reason it is always so interesting to me how each person eats their food, like the way they go about it. Watching Ronnie skim the top of the grits with the spoon and only take the top layer off to eat. 1:21 Everybody has their own way of doing it, some take big scoops, others eat from one corner and gradually move over, and Ronnie likes to skim the top of it lol, just interesting to see. Ronnie is the GOAT no doubt
I would say its force feeding with a thing you dont like but it helps you to grow :D
I love the way Ronnie is so laid back love it
I love seeing how Ronnie lived normal like me normal house and stuff
Ronnie was so driven...and is still such a nice dude!
hes a corpse....drove those needles too hard lol
@@divacroft1034 he has been supposedly making great progress from stem cell treatments. His physical issues aren't from 'the needles' but from back injuries.
@@smorgdonkey you full of crap
@@divacroft1034 it's from lifting so heavy for so long.
@@smorgdonkey ok now im sure you dont even know how bodybuilding works if you talk such nonsense...i see no point to explaining anything to you anymore
I don’t know why I find this oddly soothing to watch
This guy having a meal during The Price is Right, he knows what's good. I used to watch that during my lunch at the one place that had a TV in the break room.
This is one guy I would love to meet. And him watching South Park is hilarious.
Ronnie Coleman is a legend!
Everyone else uses a tackle box for fishing hooks, lures, etc. Ronnie uses it for vitamin storage.
This guy is so humble, I love how when he's on the treadmill he doesn't complain and looks at the positive side of things. When I'm on the treadmill I just wanna die lol.
When he said first meal 7am I was shook, my small ass when I wake up 😂😂
Nice handwriting. A disciplined life.
Not only was Ronnie massive, but he also had a very aesthetically pleasing physique as well (perfect symmetry, broad shoulders, narrow waist etc), which is close to impossible for guy weighing nearly 300 pounds.
Ronnie would of had a huge following if social media was a thing back then. He would have made millions and his Mr. Olympia and Arnold Classic prize money would of been chump change.
@@danbillington Uh, yeah he would. I see bodybuilders on IG who have millions of followers who are not even in Ronnie’s league as far as accomplishments or popularity. You think he wouldn’t have MORE?
Can we all take a moment to appreciate the fact that Ronnie put chalk on his back, prolly squatted 700lbs + and just casually strolls into a local pub to get a meal at the bar? Dudes the GOAT.
Love it how he cooks all his meals as a GOAT. Ronnie will always be #1 for me
Props to the treadmill for holding that BEAST
Something about this man… we need more like him
When are the ROIDERS going to be PROSECUTED for STEROIDS?
ROIDERS are LAW BREAKING UNHEALTHY FAKES!
Stay natural buddy!
Nobody loved bodybuilding like Ronnie did 👑
Mr Ronnie, you are the king. Your positive attitude is legendary
What an early 2000´s vibe! What a time to be alive. Maaaan bring me back.
1:03 that walk look so serious 😂
😂😂😂😂
Legend. The guy worked as a cop full-time too. Insanely dedicated…
Coleman wore that belt for his back problems for sure. Never complained but it was definitely hard. You can tell
all this weight imagine
Possibly, But its meant for lower back support. Most Pros always wear a belt when training.
@@wyattb6066 Definitely for back problems his whole back is fused, with a steel cage holding him together. He’s a legend of the game but it paid its price.
@@lukebebbington5577 watch his Joe Rogan interview, he had constant back pain while being Mr Olympia, herniated discs etc, which were not properly treated
@@lukebebbington5577 Again, Possibly. This was recorded when Ronnie was in his prime and his body still wasnt broken down as it is today. 2007 was when you could really see his physique deteriorated to an extreme and his body was breaking down.
Ronnie is gentle GIANT ! Good soul
I love his house, not what you'd expect a world class bodybuilder to be living in.
So different to Jay Cutler's house.
Some expert can explain whats the purpose of all the supplements he is takin around 11:00? Does he need to take those beacuse they lack from his diet and/or to contain the damage of steroids?
Mitigate negative effects of steroids
But sadly it can only do so much
He’s literally a living Nemesis from RE3. If he was pissed and walking at you like he is on that treadmill you’d shit your pants
A boxer half his weight would knock him out easily
@@yellowhouseproductions2959 nah all Ronnie would have to do is bear hug them and their eyes would pop out
@@yellowhouseproductions2959 Cool story bro…didn’t ask for your useless opinion
@@マシュードーラン He's right though any sub to mid level MMa fighter and to be honest anyone really would probably startch him. Unfortunately big PED muscles don't translate to fighting, and are why Ronnie now needs crutches. Don't put on what your body can't handle, dont to roids. He does seem like a very nice person though.
The size of his arms on the treadmill and holding the box of grits still moves me 20 years later
Why is this video so relaxing to watch while I’m working out?🙂
Unbreakable discipline!!!
Not lying when I say this video got me hooked on grits, eggs and cheese mixed together.
Throw some bacon 🥓 in it too
@@candytoocool bacon bad for body
@@Coldfront-sg3tt not if it’s a good turkey bacon brand. Got some from Costco and it’s 6 grams of protein per slice.
Nothing wrong with pork
@@Coldfront-sg3ttPork loin (back) bacon is also a good choice as it’s a lot leaner than bacon made from pork belly. It’s hard to find here in the US so I just make my own, it’s not hard to do. Can’t beat it price wise either, as whole pork loins are like $2 per pound.
Dude is flipping HUGE and he is handsome❤️ Go Ronnie
Most people would have melted if they saw him on the street in his prime those muscles that physique gorgeous the body beautiful
I met him and Vicki in 99' at a signing in Va Beach and they both were the closest to a comic book super hero iv ever seen and super down to earth/humble folks to top it off..Much love big dawg💪🏽
Over 20 stone of solid muscle at 5'10 is nuts. He is a machine, and his hard work and dedication to being the best is admirable. Would have been cool to meet him in his prime. Would be a shock meeting the ultimate bodybuilder. You don't really get the true scale of his build until you meet them in person.
He makes it look so easy hahahahah. What a fucking legend
Just a gentle giant. I cant get over how big his arms are. now he's a broken man, but he had to do what it took to put food on the table so i respect that, but he's paying the price. Go Ronnie!
He’s a man with a broken body, not a broken man
