    You can do the same thing for school. Read a summary or syllabus before going to class you will be smarter by and have to write half the notes you normally write

    I have mastered the art of reading without realizing I'm reading and feel like I'm inside what I'm reading.
    Specialy in longer reading sections I just enter the zone. Submerged very very deep in it.

    I just practiced reading that way in the comments and realized how much time I've wasted in the past reading everything. However, the experience from reading everything in the past makes this new technique more practicable

    Alex Hormozi has a tactic for reading books. Buy 2. A physical copy and an audio book version. Listen to the audio book as you read along. You’ll be more engaged because you are forced to follow along

    This works. For example, reading college textbooks I... 1) read the ending summary, 2) read key terms and definitions 3) scan the chapter and take note of things that stick out (just like he said, subtitles, charts and tables, bulleted lists). When I go back to read the chapter normally, it's easier to focus and I know what points are likely to be most important to the core concepts of the chapter.

    This can be also known as priming I think, and you can do this for classes too, having a gist about what the class will be about will improve the knowledge you receive and understanding it better

    Except for one thing, you're wasting more time doing that before you start to read. By that point, you've already taken longer to read than someone just simply reading it. There has to be a better way.
