Me who zones out halfway through:
As a man who eats nothing but hot pockets and frozen chicken patties, I can relate.
I think that was the point of the trick to get you to not zone out
@@tiredofthebullshit bro that's not healthy. You must try cooking bro it's not that hard
Have something clinched to your finger when you study
Same. I’ll be reading and daydreaming at the same time, so I’m like “what did I just read in that paragraph”.
Me spoiling a character death for myself on the scan of the chapter.
😂
😂😂😂😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Haha so that you can finish that book at the earliest possible so that you can grab more books to read..no books can be read(red) in this life..
Bro this man is really out here giving the best relevant advice you can get. Ty you bro truly
The brain thinks remembering is worthless
So do something so you trick your brain remembering is worth it
This is an old tip from the Evelyn Woods speed reading course. Btw, it works
He's the teacher we don't deserve but we need him for this.
75 likes and 0 comments let me fix that
The more you practice, the easier it is, the easier it is, the better you get! ANYTHING & EVERYTHING!
It's not faster but you retain more
It’s always the most simple thing that benefits the most. This channel is a gem
I tried this, it works I read book overnight
You can do the same thing for school. Read a summary or syllabus before going to class you will be smarter by and have to write half the notes you normally write
I have mastered the art of reading without realizing I'm reading and feel like I'm inside what I'm reading.
Specialy in longer reading sections I just enter the zone. Submerged very very deep in it.
Beautiful feeling, that is.
And then the book ended
@@bluetwilight1319 true 😭.
Started reading Novels with 1000+ chapters or let the audio book play.
How to do that
how
I remember trying this back in school because I hated reading and it worked but I haven’t read too much in a while and I sadly forgot about it
I am going to try this! I love tips like these. I am in college for the first time at 40 and it's tough!
Hang in. You can do it!
Congrats for starting
Congratulations! Believe me it’s never too late! I switched careers at 46 and could not be any happier!
Congrats bro keep it pushing. You already have the wisdom, now is time to put it in action.
40!?!? Bro so your saying college is that difficult!? 💀
I had 2 FU***NG AMAZING English teachers I shouldve paid more attention to not been such an a** and took in more information. Thank you for reminding me a bit of what they have taught me and more.
I actually believe this i going to help me with 9th grade thanks :)
School starts aug 22.. thanks for the tip I’ll def try it
5 September in Romania, sucks to be in a smarter country I guess lmao
@@keen283 "smarter country" :)))) yeah sure it is :P
@@IamTooLateForThis yeah, he's got less of a summer break than romania, so the country focuses more on education, which makes it theoretically smarter
@@keen283 break might start earlier
School here starts tomorrow :(
Thanks for the advice i have trouble understanting reading just one time
Thanks. I've been trying to break away from the nothingness that seems to exist after university and this difficult job hunt. Your clips are really helpful.
Will definitely try! I must do this for non-fiction, my weakness.
Broooooo,I have an exam this afternoon and there's this 21 page book I have to read before then, surprisingly I finished the book and scored a 90 over 100 thanks to your tips
Really? Wow
Thanks for sharing not like most people not be selfish
Yeah it works. That’s one of my tactics.
It really works (scanning). Thanks for this
Yeah this sorta worked, 8/10
I just practiced reading that way in the comments and realized how much time I've wasted in the past reading everything. However, the experience from reading everything in the past makes this new technique more practicable
Anik you are a very smart man, God bless you! Keep doing what you are doing 💪
I have a book to read and i literally just started it,i dont have time.
When i tell you,i dont have time.THANKS A LOT NEW SUB!!
I'm fighting to stay in your "direction". I'm easily distracted and that is my number one fault. I know this so I am fighting myself to keep coming back to you. because out of all of these people that are moguls online, you are the one that I find to be the most sincere the most helpful and the most personable. (to me that is.). have a wonderful day sir!
What a coincidence, I naturally do this. I thought this made my memory for the book better
Thanks Man appreciate it
Thank you so muhc because I always read the first time and I’m mknda confused then I have to pretty much read it all the way again
Of course.
Alex Hormozi has a tactic for reading books. Buy 2. A physical copy and an audio book version. Listen to the audio book as you read along. You’ll be more engaged because you are forced to follow along
ooohhh makes a lot of sense. gonna try this next time I can
Dope 😎 thanks Anik
Yay I do the same hell lot of boost
You'll keep soaring for always giving he best of you.
The*
Awesome!!
I just switched to not reading 😎
Its super fast
Bro it's really working !!!
Anik my man ✌️, thanks
This is super
thank you anik
Great tip! Also photoreading is how the pros do it
Damn I love your mic sir just plant a seed in a young RUclipsrs journey that’s me I need that to get best video quality for my videos
This works. For example, reading college textbooks I... 1) read the ending summary, 2) read key terms and definitions 3) scan the chapter and take note of things that stick out (just like he said, subtitles, charts and tables, bulleted lists). When I go back to read the chapter normally, it's easier to focus and I know what points are likely to be most important to the core concepts of the chapter.
Thanks sir it actually works♥️
Really remembered you video 😮😮😮
ok thanks im gonna actually try this :D
BRO it really works
I will surely subscribe and like
Thank you so much
Thank you
I hate reading but ima try this cause maybe it would be good to learn
Ohkay~~ I'm gonna try this
I usually read the page twice, this should save a lot of time 😎
Actually tried it, saves a lots of time fr.
Everyone this is for university or school books not for fiction or story type coz books with story u wont forget it fast
This can be also known as priming I think, and you can do this for classes too, having a gist about what the class will be about will improve the knowledge you receive and understanding it better
I was kinda copying the whole text book from what ive been reading lmao but this gives a a good advice
I’m gone try dis 😅
Good tip
This is exactly how a cookie works
I subscribe for this
Man I am learning so much from you!
AND I love how varied your content is!
You are a game changer for me!
Thank you!
Going to try this cause I’m struggling with comprehending.
I will try
0:00
This will help
There is a very good video explaining the same search on youtube "How to absorb textbooks like sponge."
I don't think this would work when reading fiction books but I'll try it and see how it goes...
Ima try this at school tmr cuz I have short term memory loss
I will try it
How can I read super-duper-duper- fast now? Haha. Thanks AnikSingal! (unsure if you'd perefer sapced out between your first and last name)!
Nice
Trick to read *nonfiction* faster lmao don't do this and ruin your books guys 😂
Really late reply to this, but yeah, this is a useless tips if you are reading something other than nonfiction 😂
I was Born like 1423 and im 16 next year
Did that in college
Would reading a book twice work?
Bro that’s literally what he’s telling you to do smh man’s rly said read it twice n it’ll be better
Wow
I just zone out and it feels like my head is a bucket and the words are water and my bucket has a hole in it the more i pore the more it leaks out
So read twice. Got it
Except for one thing, you're wasting more time doing that before you start to read. By that point, you've already taken longer to read than someone just simply reading it. There has to be a better way.
Thats exactly how i read
This is great for NONfiction books. If you do this with fiction you’ll just be bored lol
Good trick
Any suggestions for kindle or ebooks
What if am reading into the pit chapter one form the fnaf book set lol
Read economic hitman.all the way from south Africa would live to get a hold of you
Yeah try and do this in Aristotle’s books 😂
🎉🎉🎉
what does he mean by scan the chapter?
Here we go😂
Or do the first step and dont do the second
IELTS reading portion trick😌
Is it some kind of magical cult thing 😂😂 it feels so weird to scan whole chapter with my finger😅
Who hates reading
Read more…
Don't forget to read ALOUD but at a quiet level.
no but why did it work.
Even a faster trick is to read the summary of the book on the internet and that summary needs to have as little details as possible
Your welcome.
Here is a trick to read faster:
read it twice
I used to do this in high school when I didn’t read the chapter but had to know some of it it the next day. It worked every time
i can`t breathh
