So with your inserted comment at 5:21 on the pourover mode timer, does that mean that if you brew a 400g pour-over it will stop counting when all the water is in? If so, that makes no sense since you want to know how long it takes for the brew to fully draw down. Also, if you brew by adding bursts of water and then waiting before adding more water, the timer will have stopped? Can you clarify if there's a way to have the timer continue running after the weight stops increasing?
Great review, man! Helped me in my decision. I'm definitely gonna buy it! Just a question, tho... Reading the ad specs, I learned that this scale shuts off automatically after 3 minutes of inactivity. Do you know why and if this feature can be turned off? Thanks!
That's right I don't think they will be making the white version for the mini. The panel on the white basic use to be really poorly lid but I think they've since improve on it.
i get today the Timemoer Nano and now iam confused ^^. The mini is really flat. I have the Delonghi Dedica Coffee Machine costumized of course and there is no much place between cup an Portafilter.
sometimes i need to push the buttons on my original black mirror scale 2 or 3 times before it responds (it beeps but won't start). does this scale improve on that?
Would a large brewing vessel such as a Chemex 6 cup work with this scale? I.e. would the numbers be readable / buttons pressable, or is it too compact?
I have one on the way and will try to report back. I’ve been using the 8 cup chemex on the regular black mirror and there’s not much width to spare on that one. So I think there will be some overhang on the mini if it’s the 8 cup chemex.
1:32 i think for length and width a digit is missing. 100mm and 140mm 🤷🏻♂️
Yes thanks for pointing it out. 👌
100mm Length
114mm width
15.8mm height
Seemed indeed bigger
@@hisbrewcoffee Can you please confirm if it's 114x100 or 140x100? Everywhere online it says 114x100.
Hi there, yes it's 114mmx100mm

I have had this now for 7 months and it's really good.
7 months? Are in like a timemore insider? Haha

Thank you for the video. Will the Black Mirror Mini fit the drip tray of the Flair 58? Thank you.
If they only made a white colour, I would buy immediatly. The basic 2 has a white variant, but the mini 2 not or not yet, I think.

Same here.
the while one is available from Taobao

The mini is smaller in size in every dimension. But if the nano fits it's okay too
When in ESP mode, how do I weigh my beans? If I remove some beans it thinks the espresso is finished and the display flashes.
You would have to get out of esp mode unfortunately. That's the only way you can weight your bean without it resetting
@@hisbrewcoffee Thank you, appreciate the response.

Hmm we don't have that issue on our original black mirror basic but the mini is definitely a lot more sensitive
@@hisbrewcoffee hmmm...maybe mine has a small defect

Honestly haven't tried on a chemex but I would assume it would still be okay

@syr1964 do you have an update?
@@mauritskroon4995 definitely too small for the 8 cup chemex.
@@mauritskroon4995 8 cup chemex is way too big for the mini.
I have this but the one thing that really annoys me is the pressing 5 times to espresso mode.
Do you need to set it to espresso every time you turn it on?
@benarcher2735 nope it will remember the last mode you are in
