Great video. I have the basic one. I wish the nano has 1.5cm or less thickness instead of 2cm. Btw, to demo the sensitivity and flow rate I think it's better to use real water pouring instead of your finger pressing.
I went down the rabbit hole and just bought the plus I have a 6 cup Chemex and 32 oz Espro p7 french press instead do not drink automatic drip or expresso I will not regret it.
Great video! I have the original but was curious about the difference with the newer ones. Very informative on the Plus and Pro. Wish you would have shown the Nano Espresso more with the various modes - especially how the espresso mode works in auto so it starts the timer with the first drops and stops the timer when the espresso stops flowing. I didn't realize you could toggle it to display the flow rate instead of timer. Does the auto start/stop mode work when displaying flow instead of time? Also is the Nano also more responsive as the weight changes - same as the plus and pro? (unlike my original which is slower to register weight changes)
Great video. I wanted to order a new one after my basic died. Looks like basic+ is the right choice if you only pour expresso Btw, It’s less than 2 years for me so not a lifetime :)
Hi thanks for the video. Great comparison and product detail. Based on your recommendations I have purchased the Basic Pro for pour overs. I am noobe to filter coffee. If you can kindly make a video of your best brewing method using the basic pro and utilising all the function it offers that will be much helpful. I also bought the timemore b75 flat bottom crystal dripper. If you have that on hand it will be even better if you can show how to use the dripper along with the basic pro, that will be awesome. Again thank you for all the video you post. ❤ P.S. I also bought the Timemore kettle based on your recommendations. 😅
@hisbrewcoffee you are right. Timemore should reward my loyalty. Would you believe I even backed the kickstarter price for Timemore Sculptor 78 🤦♂️ Thank you for considering making a part 2 video. I am very grateful to you. ❤️
If you live in the west, these scales will be noticeably more expensive than if you live in Asia/Southeast Asia. Quite a significant difference for timemore products.
Timemore nano scale is very frustrating. It is incredibly sensitive to non touch as well and quite often takes a while to come down to zero when taring it. Also, it is incredibly sensitive to vibrations when placed on the espresso machine base.
TLDR; Product lasted 5 months, customer service does not even reply. I purchased the Timemore Pro scale. Living in Germany, there is basically no customer service for this product. I would never buy Timemore again. I am posting this under every review of this product.
After 2 years of use I am so unimpressed with Timemore. Built in battery would not hold a charge after 2 years of ownership. Is that ok for you all? Not for me. When I wrote Timemore about it was even more dissatisfied with their response…giving me technical information about ohms and bs that the normal person doesn’t think about when plugging the provided cable into any usb port we have. Not buying another TImemore product ever.
Hi there totally understand where you are coming from. I'm not too sure how their cs is like from where you are from. But base on our experience we love timemore and their cs. It has been really responsive. And yes the battery can't be replaced like most scales. But we haven't had any issues with it for over 2 years now.
There will be an EU law that mandates that batteries in eletrical devices will have to be user replaceable by 2027. Lets hope that these companies will stop creating so much e-waste, and sell those repairable devices everywhere in the world.
Every rechargeable battery will lose its ability to hold charge, and need to be replaced. Actually, it's not that complicated to replace it yourself. I believe their CS inform you about the compatible battery specification. It is a generic lipo battery. I changed the battery on my scale after about 3 years of use. Now it's working and hold charges like new.
@@romimuha Meanwhile my 10 yo AA rechargeables run my scale for months and months on a single charge. I'm sorry, but a built in battery that noticeably loses its capacity after 2 years is just planned obsolescence and I can't understand why on earth we're normalizing it. There are devices for which Li-Pos are suitable, but IMO scales are not among them.
You can change between grams and ounces on the PLUS too by pressing the on/off switch six times in a row.
wow, thank you so much for this excellent comparison!
You've made me realize that the Plus scale would be sufficient for my needs! 🙂
Glad it was helpful!
Nice and very clear presentation, I will go for the Black Mirror Pro bcoz it basically have everything, thank you for sharing your video
No problem 👍 glad that it helped
Excellent video! Very clear and concise comparing the features of each model and their pros and cons. Now I know which one to look for, thank you.
Extremely concise review, exactly what I was looking for, buying the pro as per your recommendation. Subscribed! Thanks!
Thanks so much! New content coming up soon
Great review! Very detailed and concise. Learned so much about each scale. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Best comparison i have seen, keep it up 👍🏻
Thanks a ton
thank you so much for your introduction of 4 scales, I know which one I need clearly. and advise to the store 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Great comparison Josh! I have the basic plus and it works great, but I will consider the pro or nano for other uses based on your video
Yea the basic plus works great for most people. Thanks for watching our videos!

Thanks! Haha yes when we replay the video we realized it was kinda odd and not that representative. But thanks for the feedback
I actually liked the finger pressing, it was very easy to see the difference.
I went down the rabbit hole and just bought the plus I have a 6 cup Chemex and 32 oz Espro p7 french press instead do not drink automatic drip or expresso I will not regret it.
Awesome! Glad it helped
Great video, I didnt know there is an auto fuction on my blackmirror basic....
Thanks 👍
Great review, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Is there any way to switch from grams to Oz?
十分感謝你的介紹.終於清楚自己要那一款,並已推荐👍
👌
What about the timemore mini scale its new scale what do you think about it?
We are making a video about it soon

Yes the basic + is definitely a good budget choice. I was told my timemore that they will discount the basic and basic plus very soon!
Too late…. Just ordered :)
Haha it's good that you ordered!
Which is the best one for pour over?
Definitely the pro
Great video, very well explained. Does the nano fit under (or in) the flair 58?
Yup it does
I would say, get rid of them all and simply get yourself a nice AKU Varia. Hands down best value for money no doubt about it.
Are you referring to the ones like the same as varia grinders?
Great breakdown! Thank you
Thanks 😀

I have the Timemore black mirror pro and getting error code FFFF reached out to Timemore and no response. Only 1 year old
Hi you migjt want to check out our calibration video
I just went and looked and couldn’t find the calibration video. Could you please provide link
@rickhoupt6933 How to calibrate timemore coffee scalw

my only gripe with timemore scales is how THEY ARE NOT THE SAME DIMENTIONS AS THE TIMEMORE KETTLE BASE, TIMEMORE PLEASE
Just curious why would you want them to be the same?
He comprado muchas balanzas, compré ésta y salió con pixeles quemados. Me pregunto, cuál es el control de calidad de esta marca sobrevalorada?
TLDR; Product lasted 5 months, customer service does not even reply.

Where did you purchase it from? The authorized reseller should be the one acting on it.
the durability of these Timemore Scales are so so very very bad.
The new models are not done rightly

DO NOT BUY TIMEMORE. rubbish. needs calibration very soon. calibration weights 1500g, 1000g, 500g, 100g, 50g, 20g weights
Sorry you feel this way. Yes the calibration could be improved but at least they still provide a way to calibrate
