That X-T5 is just an excellent all-arounder for sure. I've been eye-balling that new 16-55mm Mark II, it really looks like a winner. It actually looks the size of the 16-80mm but even lighter than that lens. I just recently got the new 16-50mm kit lens and am happy with it though, but..........
I can't go without my L-Bracket. I have the Three Legged Thing L-Bracket which also fits the Peak Design clip mount. Can't wait to see what you come across
There was a company out of Poland that made a clone of the Really Right Stuff L bracket for the K1. Genesis was the name. They don't sell them in the USA, but maybe you can get one in Tasmania? It fit perfectly.
Hi Edward, Quick question: are you going to sign the books before shipping? Can't wait for my copy. Will be under the Christmas tree, (hopefully). Thanks
Yes, all books will be hand signed on the title page. I expect to get them shipped out by November 15-20th. I hope you enjoy it, I sure enjoyed putting it together!! Thanks! 👍🙂
Did you scrap the iFootage Gazelle TC-7 and the Acratech Panorama head? I have not heard you mention those in several videos. I bought a TC-9, but not the Acratech head yet. Was there a problem with them that made you scrap them?
No I still have both but use them mostly for my large format cameras which have rotating backs and need to be level. Works great for that but is overkill for digital. Too heavy and complicated with the L brackets. At least that's what I think now. I might go back to it, it was really nice to just level the tripod and not worry about it.
Back in the day I've made a photo that ended up on a billboard with Canon 5D, also known as 5D Classic, that sports only 12MP. Yes, ONLY 12MP. Folks, stop obsessing with megapixels. That's bad for your mental health, especially today when you can add a bit of resolution with help of AI if need be. BTW, I know what works both for bears and alligators - good, old, trusty Magnum 357... 😇

I bet even a DEI 9 would work on a gator... 🐊🐊🐊🙂 (I still like the 40, though.)
