Great comparison. I've just bought the TTartisan .. my first lens by them, and to be honest I'm very impressed and used it on a music video shoot today. I'll be also making use of it shooting both weddings I'm doing this week
I liked your crisp video. So much practical information without any unnecessary fluff.Another point for TTArtisan as the lens is available on their website for $125 at the moment. You have a new subscriber :)
Very good comparison. Thank you. I ended up ordering the viltrox as I have the 56 Fuji but wanted something to complete my street kit (lightweight etc) and didn’t want to shell out for the fujicron 50 f2.
Thanks for the camparison... I've been debating between these 2 as I want a lens to pair with my X-A20. Will probably go with viltrox due to size and weight.
I just bought the TTartisan 56mm 4 days ago, yes it is a really great lens, fast auto focus, the bokeh result is better, though i need more space to bring it in my bag cause it's larger.
Thanks. Also a a very last minute production. Ask a good friend yesterday and spend an hour doing it. Hahaha. how you find it useful. Cheers and have a great weekend.
That was a great review, I really like this photo at 2:01, I am looking forward to buy this for product videography. I am curious if I can use this for smooth focusing, like if I move my object on a table from 2 mtrs to 0.5m, will it hold up the focus?
I was looking at buying on of these but then the 1.4 55mm Meike came up, now I dunno lol. Its not really the max apeture, but I really like having the apertrure ring on a lens for x mount.
its a question of what you need. F1.4 is nice; it's optically better? If you like the aperture; please go for it. For me I still love the TTartisan F1.8. Because I could shoot closer.
@@FujiFanBoys I have the original 56, not the wr. curious because it's very old already.. I'm sure that colors are better and probably not less sharp at 1.8 anyway I use it on old bodies and probably wouldn't noticed any different
viltrox just confirmed with me via comment section that they will be bringing their 56mm f1.7 to sony e mount soon! should i get the viltrox or the ttartisan for my zv-e10? i mostly do video (low light) but wanted something for portrait stuff, not sure which one to get
When it comes to choosing lightweight lenses; it's the easiest. which ever is the lightest, we go for it. For me I won't choose any as I have no issue with a bit of weight. I usually go to XF56mm F1.2 WR. As for TTartisan or Fujifilm; I would go for Fujifilm 50mm F2.
Just the comparison we needed. Very short and straight to the point!
Thanks! appreciate your feed back.

Thank you man. Appreciate it.
I was about to buy the Viltrox until I saw this video and thankfully you compared the minimum focus distance. Now I'll be purchasing the TTartisan.
Enjoy this lens.
Short and sweet comparison. Thanks!
thanks

good reason to buy a new bag. Just kidding. Enjoy this great lens. Cheers
sangat membantu compare nya...bisa beli salah satu. 👍
Nice video. I just bought the TTArtisan, definitely great value for the price. Really sharp for portraits even at f1.8.
Thanks for sharing.
Great video man! I need some perspective comparison for these lens. Thank you.
Thank you.
Nice. I just ordered my TTartisan 56mm
Nice. Thanks for sharing. I am sure you will enjoy this lens.
Viltrox is the best out there. Even better than some Japanese Brands.
great style my guy. it would have took another youtuber 45 minutes for the same amount of info. thanks!
Thank you for the encouragement. Appreciate it.
Been waiting for this the last few days 😂

how about in video can u do samples? tyia

Thank you. I am not certain as I have none done that. Most of the shot in my IG in last one month ar shot with this lens. Cheers
@@FujiFanBoys okay... A link to your insta please.

Viltrox is sharp from corner to corner from f1.7 where as TTartisan is sharp from corner to corner at around f2.8
thanks for sharing.
And now Meike and 7artisans come to the fray ))
the more the merrier for all of us. Having option is always good. cheers.
the comparison we needed for cheapskate like me hahhah TQ
can u do 1 more comparison, eye focus in moving video shoot? Thanks
I will try and update you. cheers
Estoy muy interesado en comprar uno de ellos, pero aun no tengo decidido cual de ellos. Si fuera WR y pequeño y ligero ...
Absolutely love this video! I have been wondering these two for a long time now! I'm going for the Viltrox.
How about the Yongnuo 50mm f1.8?
if I have to choose; its still the TTartisan for me.
interested how they compare with the 1.2 from fuji
Can't be compared. The fujifilm XF56mm F1.2 WR is another level up in IQ. Also its cost a lot more.
@@FujiFanBoys I have the original 56, not the wr. curious because it's very old already.. I'm sure that colors are better and probably not less sharp at 1.8 anyway I use it on old bodies and probably wouldn't noticed any different
Interesting comparison. But how would these 2 lenses compare with the Sigma 56mm F1.2?
you mean Sigma 56mm F1.4? its defintely a better lens.
@@FujiFanBoysYes. My apologies for the error.
Happy with my choice to go with TTArtisan, the metal construction feels superior to Viltrox.
Enjoy your TTartisan...

Basically they are both good lenses. Viltrox is smaller in size. As for TTartisan it's faster and could shoot closer. and that is important to me.
I like your boxing gloves. 🥊🥊
good eye! now you know this video is sponsored by Decathlon! LOL.
What about the build quality?
average for this class of lens.
@@FujiFanBoys thank you to take time for an answer.
Would you choose the TT Artisan 56mm or the Fujifilm 50mm F2 for a 50mm-ish lens for lightweight overseas travel?
When it comes to choosing lightweight lenses; it's the easiest. which ever is the lightest, we go for it. For me I won't choose any as I have no issue with a bit of weight. I usually go to XF56mm F1.2 WR. As for TTartisan or Fujifilm; I would go for Fujifilm 50mm F2.
If you can afford it to fuji
@@FujiFanBoys I have the 50mm f2. 56mm 1.2WR and also the Viltrox 75mm f1.2. Would you take the 56mm or 75mm for overseas portraits?
@@lightede personally; the 56mm F1.2 WR. Sure an amazing portraits lens.
COMPARE IT TO THE 100$ YONGNUO 50MM
The TTArtisan is 50 quid approx
where've you seen it that low?
