There is driving mode in XUV700 but it's in the infotainment known as Zip, zap , zoom. For city or heavy traffic roads you'll feel XUV700 is way better in terms of Safari and in Highway roads TATA Safari petforms great. Both vehicles are good.

I own a new safari myself it is much more efficient than any car in its segment i get 14+ in city and 18+ on highway. It is surely more than xuv700 plus the handling and dynamics are far better in safari

In my opinion you wont go wrong buying either of them and on the looks front people also consider xuv700 a revised xuv500 which looks less bulky and lacks suv feel so does that mean it is bad?, drive for yourself you will know the dynamics of safari and talking about power you wont feel any real life difference in both the cars as both cars are very fast.

We owned Tata Safari dicor, we sold it in corona 1st wave, got XUV700 AX7 manual petrol in november four months completed, no complaints so far, happy with the car ❤ easy to drive (5 star for that steering wheel, power of the car is extraordinary) and gives comfortable rides (a grt car both for city traffic and highways).

Good presentation, Tata Safari is better in safety and performance than Xuv 700. But interior design & look much premium noted in Xuv700.My choice is XUV 700.
XUV700 is far superior compare to Safari the worst part of safari is youtube filled with many videos where Tata cars are in service centre since day one and many fighting cases in consumer court. Tata should seriously think. Where as XUV700 also have some issues like infotainment but s/w issues can be rectified with updates.

But interior design & look much premium noted in Xuv700.My choice is XUV 700.

XUV700 is far superior compare to Safari the worst part of safari is youtube filled with many videos where Tata cars are in service centre since day one and many fighting cases in consumer court. Tata should seriously think. Where as XUV700 also have some issues like infotainment but s/w issues can be rectified with updates.

But Safari owners claim mileage of 20KMPL on highway with Cruise control b/w 80-100KMPH,also safari is quicker than XUV700..
