I found your channel and this beginner baby blanket, was listening to the snoring, or purring, and then I had to laugh out loud because while I kept track of your stitching, my snoring pug began to chime in! You and I were both sitting together on opposite sides of our screen crocheting with our snoring critters! Thank you for this wonderful pattern, I I am going to try it with a 3DK yarn that I purchased. If it is too small, I will get some of that wonderful baby yarn you were using. Looking forward to more of your videos!

Great stitch! Just like the V Stitch, but not as gappy . So often I’ve needed a stitch like this, never occurred to me to leave out the chain one in the V! This changes everything! Thank you 🌸🌸🌸

This is Caron baby cakes which is only sold at Michael’s store and online.
so from the beginning corner, when you are working the "mini shell" border you are skipping one stitch working directly a single crochet then skipping one stitch then working mini shell directly into the next stitch but at 25:00 you say to continue working around but to add a chain between stitches -- this is not what you demonstrated so should there be a chain before and after the single crochet stitch between each "mini shell" ? sorry but I am confused perhaps you would clarify for me ? the blanket is very pretty and I would like to make; thank you
Hello! For the mini shell border it should be 4 half double crochets in one stitch, *skip a stitch, single crochet in next stitch, skip a stitch, 4 half double crochet in the next stitch. Repeat from * around entire blanket. I hope this helps clarify things 😊
