I like Dyche, he can be frustrating at times and sometimes doesn't seem like he makes subs quick enough but we are and always should be a traditional English club and hard work should always come first. He's a perfect fit for that philosophy and that resonates with a lot of us. Also can't help but feel like having a few former Burnley lads around has definitely helped him.
I’ve heard a few blues say that he’s too loyal to some players which he had at Burnley too, his subs I must say was also baffling at best of times at Burnley but our bench was always pathetic
As an Evertonian, I'm always impressed by how accurate your knowledge is of our club. Dyche (-osaur) is the right man for this thankless job right now. Even so, that's a good observation that his defensive tactics are the likely reason for the poor home form. The squad always seem to play to the level of the competition--for better and for worse.
Lived in Liverpool for abit so I know quite a few blues, in fairness most lads I met was Blues too I like to keep in loop when it comes to Dyche especially
As an Everton fan we don’t play great football but early on in the season we grinded out results even if we don’t attack teams we always seem to create a few big chances I love Sean dyche he substitutions are a bit lacklustre and his attraction to Ashley young is a problem but he is the only man to keep us on the league

He's doing a very good job at Everton. Like Trevor Steven said recently, "The right man, at the right job, at the right time". I wish he could get some backing in the transfer market to see what he could do and evolve. I dont have much confidence that will happen sadly. His gameplans are simple, but effective. In open play, it does get a bit dreary. If there is not space to attack, we see missplaced throughballs and hopeful crosses which does get frustrating. I think Dyche also cares a lot about his players and those around him. That endears him to me.
Dyche is the perfect manager for Everton It’s the first time in while I’ve seen the side have abit of grit about them and not roll over at the first hurdle He did a wonderful job at Burnley This is from an Everton fan
Dyche is a Moyes type character for Everton. Moyes came in, got the basics right and made us hard to beat. As a result , we had consistent finishes in the top 7 or 8 for numerous seasons. I see Sean being that kind of figure. Gets the club out of the spiral, instills pride back into the club, and generally gets us at least not being a joke each season. I dont think there is a better fit for Everton right now.

Dyche is a surprisingly subtle man. He allows himself to be the butt of jokes while shielding his team. He understands that footballers are straightforward fellows and gives them easy to follow directions so they can feel confident when they succeed with them. There’s a lot of quiet respect at the foundation of a Dyche team, too.
As an Everton fan I like Dyche. Our structure off the ball is really solid and our players do work hard. However on the ball we are really poor. I’m unsure if this is a personnel issue but we don’t really see any patterns in possession and frequently give the ball away cheaply. Nothing I want more than Dyche to succeed at Everton but this aspect needs to be greatly improved upon first.
I honestly believe if Sean Dyche had a squad of really talented players he would make a lot of noise and win a lot of games and surprise people, he’s done so much with let’s be honest average to below average players
Have finally watched this video when everton have survived, and hope dyche is around for a long time, we need managers like him, it is an integral part of the english identity as well
He's exactly the manager Everton needed and still need. The PL would be boring if all the managers were the same. Different clubs have different needs.
I'm a fan of Dyche. I've only started watching his teams in the 21/22 season. There were quite a few games where Burnley was playing very offensively to get the 3 points. The manner in which Everton survived that relegation fight was gutting. I like the way his teams play, they seem to have a plan and are usually well-structured. I wish to see him manage the NT of England and win a WC.
The thing with Dyche is the type of players going through the system in the UK, i think he can adapt to modern football but might need to. Network with young managers with a type of football that can bridge what Dyche soughts after to ones that have been educated in the modern English football.
Hi Liam. My name is Matt and I am a Rochdale Fan. I don't know if you heard or seen but our club is in danger of liquidation and extinction in about 6 weeks if a take over is not complete. To say that a manager like Dyche cannot thrive is ludicrous. Look a Diego simeone. The man plays the same way and preaches the same things and he is a legend. Dyche just needs backing and players to fit his system.
The truth about Dyche is that he hasn’t managed at any situation like a Villa, West Ham, Newcastle where he can have a big budget. Everton has been hampered by FFP and Burnley always was very thrifty with him. I’d love to see him take the reigns at Newcastle and see how he does
i always rated him for his work at burnley, even if his style of football is not one i'd watch. but considering what he was working with he is a damn good manager. and i think he will keep everton up, he seems like a good fit for them. i wouldn't want him at my club necessarily, again i dont enjoy his style, but i can admit that he deserves to be managing in this league and deserves praise for what he has achieved.
I respect Dyche. Not a lot of men have mettle to handle the situation at clubs like Everton which has a vocal and sometimes dangerous fanbase. He is playing survival football but that is again fair looking at that Everton side.
Please make a video on Rochdale. We are in a huge financial crisis that could see us liquidated in a month (basically like the southend and scunthorpe situation).
Before Sean Dyche, Burnley hadn't been in Europe since 1960-61, when they won the league, and Liverpool were 3rd in the second division. They got to the quarter finals, losing 5-4 on aggregate (3-1 and 1-4) against Hamburg.
I'd like you see what Dyche does at a club that can spend a little I'm not talking top 6 obviously but maybe a club like Bournemouth or maybe West Ham to just see what he does. I feel like he plays to the teams strengths with the players he already has and not being able to spend has caused him to play the way he does, if he's does have money to spend what players would he bring in and what style of play would he have. I don't think he's nieve to modern football so I think he could adapt.
Dyche has his ceiling, he'll never qualify a club for the Champions League, but hes a fighter. His teams are robust, gritty and grind out results. Everton have a Championship squad and he's dragging them to safety. They should appreciate everything hes doing for them.
We'll never know. He got Burnley european football. Realistically, no club outside the top 6 is going to get CL football regardless of manager and none of them will hire Dyche because of his perceived profile. He could try the SPL - I'm pretty sure he'd get CL footy for one of Celtic or Rangers.
@paulie-g Aston Villa are close. But yeah Spurs or Chelsea will never give him a chance. Would love to see him at Celtic or Rangers, but he's a very good Premier League manager. Doing what he does isn't a disgrace though. There's plenty of clubs who'd love him as manager.
@@richcymru3976 Yeah, Villa are close, but a) they wouldn't hire him either once they made the investment in the squad, b) they're a big club, c) this is an exceptionally bad season for several of the traditional big 6. (I like Villa, Emery and want them to get CL footy btw) My point is that I think Dyche is capable of more than what he's done/is doing with the right players/at the right club/at the right time and it's sad he likely won't get the chance.
I watched an interview with Dyche somewhere and I think he has a lot of tools but does seem to get the title "best shoe string budget manager". He seems to be able to look at what he has and make them work, which as you say is what is expected. I'd be curious to see what would happen if he was given a chance with a modest budget and players with a bit more skill.
Indeed. I think lumping him in with the likes of Hodgson (who got his chance at Liverpool and failed miserably) is unfair. Burnley played some decent stuff at times (and commit GBH and other offenses at others).
Always enjoyed dyche ball nothing fancy but it gets the results and makes some spicy title races with teams like Liverpool and city droping points to them
I could see him becoming the go to relegation battle manager in the top flight. But I don't think he'll be sought after in other capacities. Hopefully he'll keep Everton up and get another season at the helm.
Just for like science I’d like to see Dyche manage the City squad in a UCL knockout game just for the home and away legs in one round. I think it would be interesting

As a Liverpool fan, I’m privileged to support a team that not only wins consistently, but blowing teams out of the water. However it’s harder to the so call “smaller clubs” to replicate that in the top flight. Kompany is struggling because his players aren’t good enough to compete, even if they suit his style. As an arsenal fan who's witnessed other arsenal fans claim we need to sack arteta and hire Sean dyche because he will as least stop us from getting relegated ..I have to say, i have a lot of respect for dyche lol
If we had a striker that could find the net once or twice, we’d be mid table comfortably. The fact is, we don’t, nor can we splash out on one. None of that is Dyche’s fault, he’s managing to keep the defence solid to make up for the fact we can’t attack. The 2 month win drought has coincided with Doucoure being out injured, shame because we were on a good run but I refer back to my original point in that Dominic 0 in 20 Calvert Lewin is the best we have to offer up top and unfortunately the guy couldn’t score in a brothel with a wad of £20 notes hanging out of his pocket!
I personally think that variety is the spice of life and while overall I agree with the sentiment of the "English Manager" style of play is not as entertaining I'd hate to see it go extinct in the Premier League. To me, having the widest variety of ways to approach a match is far more interesting than any one style can be.
I like Sean Dyche, I actually consider him one of the Top 10 good coaches in Europe rn. Not great, obviously, but part of the good coaches. Great coaches make the best of the squad they have and reach their potential. Good coaches, on the other hand, need to form their squad around their philosophy. I think, even though he made the best of it, his teams could not really emulate his philosophy and energy yet. To be honest, in this transitional era of football, I think Dyche should look for a coaching experience outside of the PL. Maybe learn and immerse yourself into the German football culture and replace Streich, since he is retiring, at SC Freiburg for next season. I mean sure, it would seem like a downgrade, but those players are the fighters he is looking for as a coach with his game plan. I'm sure after this adventure, he will return to the PL with a status that is somewhere in between the status of Ange and Klopp. Greetings from Germany.
Dyche is a legend but because he doesn't use mykolenko as an inverted wingback and swap between a 3-5-2 and a 4-3-3 in and out of possession he will never be recognised as a legend
Pep: "Nooo, you have to play 4-3-3 in possession of the ball and a 3-5-2 off it"
Dyche: "FOUR FOUR FOCKING TWO WITH TARKOWSKI IN CENTRE"
Brought a tear to my eye😢

The best bald manager in the league
“DROP BACK,GET A RED CARD,WIN IT BACK,THEN HOOF IT UP THE PITCH”
If Dychey isnt the man to take the Toffees onwards i dont know who is
If Sean does gets sacked the MLS would get a Shot to get him he's a damn good manager

Top 10 in Europe 😂😂😂😂😂
@@matthewsmith8727 Top 10 Good Coaches, not Great coaches. I'm sure I've made the distinction quite clear.
@@olliminati he’s an awful manager
Dyche is a legend but because he doesn't use mykolenko as an inverted wingback and swap between a 3-5-2 and a 4-3-3 in and out of possession he will never be recognised as a legend
Sean Dyche: you put the ball in the back of the net, its not rocket science!
Respect dyche for all he’s done and is but he sounds like he swallowed a pound of gravel after crushing a pack of cigs
