- Sun Princess Dome on decks 17 and 18. ATTENTION! I FOUND OUT THAT I HAD ORIGINALLY BEEN GIVEN WRONG INFORMATION ABOUT THE DOME. IT IS NOT “ADULTS ONLY”. THE ADULTS ONLY AREA IS THE SANCTUARY POOL AREA AND YOU CAN ONLY GO THERE IF YOU PAY EXTRA OR ARE IN CERTAIN SUITE LEVELS. THERE ARE NO FREE ADULTS ONLY AREAS LIKE THE RETREAT AREA ON THE ROYAL CLASS SHIPS. SORRY FOR THE MISINFORMATION, BUT IT IS WHAT I WAS ORIGINALLY TOLD BY
ANOTHER SUPERVISOR.

We sail the Caribbean in October on this ship and it will be very interesting to see how warm the dome will be. Thank you for taking the time to share these videos on your vacation. While I like kids, I think it is a shame this area is not adult only. Princess could have had a couple of hours either in the morning or afternoon where kids could come but the remainder of the day be adult only.

So long as the Dome is adult-only, it is hard to see what benefit there would be for paying for the non-suite area of the Sanctuary. The Dome has such beautiful views and comfortable seating! Of course, everything changes if it is noisy and hectic.
I have not found out that is is NOT adults only. I was originally misinformed.
Could you video and comment on the main dining room and the differences in seating, decor, and menu between decks 6, 7, and 8? How much difficulty have you had making reservations at the times you have wanted?

It doesn’t look like any of them open. Maybe they have some sort of ventilation system that I am unaware of.
@@rexdillinger another video said the area outside in front of the done is for suite guest only. It appears they are wrong,??
I do not believe the area in the front of the dome is for suite guests only. That area in in the very back after you go through the sanctuary.
@@bstanz5266 , I've seen explanations that this is a misconception that results in less congestion (on good weather days). This is good for people who prefer less crowded areas. It won't work if everybody knows about it.

Was there signage saying adult only? Princess has never stated that publicly, they said that it's all ages. The sanctuary is adult only but I've never seen this area as that. Edit to add: I contacted Princess via their travel agent portal and they said it's not adult only so I'm curious why you said multiple times that it is. Hopefully you're just confusing it with the Sanctuary, otherwise there will be a lot of upset guests who have been told it's all ages.
I was told by a supervisor that it is an adult only pool. I believe they will open it up for the entertainment at night to everyone.

It is not adult only. Only the sanctuary on Sun is adults only.
If the Dome allows children, it would be so noisy that adults would not want to be in there. It echos and every sound is magnified. The pool area inside the Dome I’d too small to have a bunch of children playing in it. This space is not conducive to children, but I will find out what the real scope is regarding adults only. Another example of miscommunication on Princess’s part; one way or the other.
@@rexdillingerthanks for checking. Are there many kids on your sailing? I rarely see many kids on Princess and I feel like they will probably stick to the main pools or the wake view pool. My daughter can't go in any pool (special needs and not toilet trained) but we would love to just sit in there. It's such a huge part of the ship to be closed off to us.
There are essentially no kids in this ship. So right now it doesn’t matter
