I have the Cowboy 3, like a Tenways only with a removable battery. It’s great. And yes, on a single speed, belt driven e-bike, hills are easy to get up. I ride every morning, usually about 7 to 10 miles averaging about 17mph. And it has theft protection, if you crash it will send a text to a contact. I wish it was a bit more forgiving on the rough terrain but I’m very happy with it.

Great reviews, thanks for being informative whilst keeping it light. Any idea how to gate ANY of these in NZ? I just moved here form Berlin - where Cowboys, Van Moofs and pretty much any e-bike made roam the streets. Wellington, however has barely any options for cool urban e-bikes, I know this is not your thing but thought, since you have access, that you might have some ideas? Many thanks!

I bought a £100 refurbished mountain bike from a charity project and fitted a switch bike setup. It all works really well and helps with my chronic fatigue problems. It looks inexpensive due to some messy camouflage black paint and the battery can be easily removed so not so attractive to your avarage bike thief. Also the battery can be charged off the bike, and it works a treat for me. Would like the longer range battery perhaps, but due to the cost, I'll stick to the smaller one.
What do you think of the GFORCE ZM? Wondering if there legal to use in Europe (NL to be precis) love your vids!

I have recently got into e-bike riding and find it better than a conventional bike.
What helmet cameras or bike cameras would you recommend as I watched your video about accidents in your day and even though I’m not in the city it’s just as bad if not worse for mishaps and potholes.

Does the simplicity of a carbon belt drive outweigh the advantages of a chain driven gear set? (The motor is a 500 watt.)

When we talk about "it can handle hills", it be nice to mention the grades. I have a lot of 5-10% grade hills in my city and can never tell if they'll handle that no problem or if people live in a flat city with at worst a 3% grade.

I have a NCM MOSCOW PLUS 29er . 1500 miles in and all is well . Cost me £1500 so £1.00 a mile 👍😃.
Having an ebike l can go on long bike rides l would never dream of going on with my Voodoo bizango which l use for off road in the devils punchbowl. With the folding ebike l can fit in the back seat or boot of my car. Massive life changer.

Can you review the Flit-16 Bike please?
The Ado A20F is like the Mate X but costs a third of the price and is legal to ride in the UK. Much better choice imo unless you want to be landed with fines.

Just wondering how many times people have been stopped by the popo for their ebike. Not that I would ever think of buying a 750w motor and using it like a 250. Nope, wouldn’t dream of it.
It all depends where you live. I'm in a town that's very hilly and you need something like a 750w if you don't want to struggle. I have a 350w and most of the time I feel like I'm at the gym pedalling up hills. On the flat it will do 23.5 on the throttle compared to 8 when pedal assisting a maxed out throttled cruise control. I've learnt my lesson, next bike will have the power to get up them.
I am 6’ 4” and 270 lbs. a 250 won’t cut it for me. We are not all the same…
@@ProjectMotive I find 250w almost effortless uphill. I'm 11st and 6ft. The law essentially punishes you for being big lmao.
@@BamBam-me8sf I have a 90 lbs fat ebike and with my pack It’s 300 lbs. my bike is 750 watts I can get 40 miles range.

Interested why you chose the 73 over the 345-s as it seemed like that was the better bike from the other video
coz nothing bits s73 if we talk about customization, community, power( but still legal), looks and brand recognition, what downside it is price specially in Europe but this bike is something else which make e-bike people turn heads when passing. Im using e-bike's for last 8 years and I was owning maybe 12 different bikes, even now I have Phatfour fls+ and Super73 rx Mojave and S73 kills all my bikes with everything but not modesty! Is only legal E-bike on the planet that have fanbase in every capitol. Owners meet and have fun riding together like groups of 100 at once, and this bike connect them like any other E-bike existing. Rest of E-bikes are just E-bikes Super73 becomes much more in this selfish world. That why I will put s73 above all of them when we talk about E-fatbikes.
Interesting that you chose Super 73 over the Newgen 345. Did that come down to the price and overall customisation options?

Thanks! The seat on the ZX is a touch slimmer than the New Gen which I personally preferred making it just beat the New Gen

What would you recommend for a woman of 5,1 height please? I'm looking for an e-bike for my wife and while the Tenways sounds brilliant, they start at size "medium" from 5'4.
The Tenways step-through (CGO800s) might be a better option than than the CGO600. They are fundamentally very similar bikes though the step-through is slightly heavier. The frame size wouldn't necessarily be the biggest issue with the CGO600, it's more about getting onto the bike in the first place (the step-through eliminates this problem).
It's also worth looking into foldable options like the MiRiders - they are ideal for more petite people.

Why does Mate look so much like a Lectric bike? I've heard almost all the ebike companies use the same build of bike, sometimes from the same factories in China and then slap their logo on them.
Would be tempted by the tenways but I'm not sure about the battery being integrated... What happens when it needs a repair?

This is my issue
Tenways assured me you can get the battery replaced if you contact them. But this may well be in the 2 year warranty period alone. I’ll ask them and see what the deal is after 2 years, but otherwise the CGO800S is a solid alternative
And I’ll get the cowboy on the list!! It’s time!

Everyone thinks that Ebikes are something new (but as we all know they are not)
The first one I got was twenty years ago and had 6
7ah twelve volt lead acid batteries powering it had that for 5 years.
Then I got a 36volt kit that I over voltade with a 64volt 24ah battery (ninety two thousand miles and two new batteries later still going) How needs more than 1 gear. would not mind a super 7.

If you're in UK then the 250w limit is not enough for you. Get Ado A20F as it's a beast and can be easily unrestricted to 500W.

HELP... Can't help wondering when the Law is going to change. When can we legally buy more powerful bikes and what is going to happen to the stock of existing poorly powered bikes?
Almost all Ebikes are either over-priced and/or under-powered...anything above $1200k is a ripoff and motors less than 350W are more or less useless. Did my research before buying my new ebike: 1000W full-suspension foldable for $950... one negative: no fenders but otherwise it's perfect!
also, it comes with a removable Samsung battery.
Why would engineers fix bikes? Engineers / Design engineers would design and do R&D into electric bikes, technicians would fix them.
More people need to get into electric vehicles. They're the future of the world🔥
Honestly: Tenways is a cheap version of Vanmoof concepts. Sorry but it is what it is.
They tell you tenways wonderful this and that but never tell you amp hour of battery.
They are jokers don't listen to her.
When buying you need to know what you are buying..
The more amp hour, the more milage.
Build your own for a fraction of cost.
Trek wants about 4,000 or higher
I can build for half of that and I can give you much more than they can.
