Anytime you say “swimbait glidebait” video I’m watching. Learning these baits are definitely a challenge in themselves and that’s why I love using them. Awesome video.
Bro I love how you explained everything in a way a person that just loves the sport of fishing hope for this sport. Tournament videos are very entertaining but I do understand the cost. Just keep faith and keep believing in yourself.
Just getting into big bait fishing! no boat YET! love all the videos explaining big baits! Would love a bank fishing big baits video! Thanks for getting me into this style of fishing enjoying it so far!!
Really appreciate that you shre the knowledge you have, it's one thing to be good at something, but to be able to explain what you know and learned is not easy. Alot of other channels just fish which isn't always bad but I tend to sway more towards the teaching channels thank you.
This video was worth the $$ to subscribe! Seriously, this video saves us all time and money . I continually throw bigger baits , but it seems in vain until you snatch a big. So this helps the confidence to continue!
Great info Ben. Thank you for all of this. Here in Montana we fish mostly reservoirs. Bass fishing is secondary for many anglers here. I fish mainly bass and pike. Tons of fun with a swim bait.
Yoooo! Another good swimbait video. I know you’ve done a few videos that are HOW TOs, but sometimes I can’t tell if you’re imparting more action with the handle, the rod tip, or both. During the video you made in your pool Cole would cut to the action of the bait, and not how you were imparting the action. Fishing the baits well is a damn art and if you don’t want to give out all your secrets I totally respect that. I have many glide baits, some of which I feel confident in my ability to fish, but most I get frustrated with and switch back to conventional ish. My frustration isn’t with not catching anything, but just that I can’t translate the action from my head to the bait. Any help with a video, or even a small clip while you’re on the grind would be amazing! Thanks for all the great content 👍
Hey Dude great reviews and very helpful. I am just getting into fishing glide baits along with the rest of the fishing world. I would like to see you work the different glides in your swimming pool. I once had a pool ( worked lures all the time in it), moved … no pool now 😢, realty miss it. Pools are great assets to fisherman allowing them to see The response of the lure when you twitch your Rod and how small subtle topside movements create and make your bait come alive. Please keep your videos coming. differen
Thank you so much for going through that in-depth dissertation on swimbaits. I don't think I've ever seen anything on the internet that in depth. I don't think any pro MLF or Bass fisherman has ever posted anything that in depth. Time location water temp all dictate and when to use what swimbait excellent dude you rock it's like watching a modern day Al lender with in fisherman haha
I’m sure I can find it if I looked, but do you have or know of a video to reference how you rig your huds? I’ve only used the ol B.B. treble, but rigging a trailer off the jig seems like it might be the ticket!
Dang Professor Milliken! You are the Goat! That was a Great session of knowledge on Swim baits! Freaking loved it!! Thank for the Breakdown! Keep Rocking ‼️
Man thanks for the info and tactics.. haven’t been able to get out much due to work and life, but can’t wait to try some of these methods. Thanks brother!
Great video Ben!!!! I fish tablerock in missouri and am just getting into big swimbait and glide bait fishing. I’ve had a little success on the “Draw” but wandering what you suggest for getting down deeper for the upcoming summer and with that, what you use and how you do it to weight your baits? Thanks in advance. Steve.
Awesome info my guy very informative. I got two firsts this evening after work. Got my first Gyro fish 2.6 and my first hover juggle fish he was a bit better 4.1 . Keep dropping knowledge on all the MFers out there. Yall pay attention this man will put you on some fish!!
As usual, you are helping us Mfers with your KNAWLEDGE! Appreciate what you do and looking forward to seeing some more camping, catch n cook! Bring Slaw too! Lol. Keep doing what you do! DEAL 🎣💥
I fish exclusively in Florida on shallow bodies of water max depth 9’ and filled with hydrilla and some shell beds. Can glide baits be effective or should I be sticking with soft baits like the mag draft?
Okay so I got a question about one of my ga lakes it’s mostly shallow docks a bunch of points rocks here and there a couple different types of grass and some shallow water tree piles I have been trying to figure the fish out glide baits hudddlestons and chadshads and haven’t really seen them key in on it I had a big follower on a phoney glide but I am kinda stuck on what to do todays date is 12/29/22 and I have a tourney in 2 weeks and the water temp will be around the 50s and suggestions it’s a 12 inch minimum on fish and have seen some 5 pluses come in the last few tourneys but haven’t caught one bigger than 3
I've gotta tournament coming up with a cold front coming in... Very few fish are already bedding but with the cold front I expect most to leave the bed and head to deeper water. What would be your presentation? It's a big bass event
I am not seeing the list of baits and some links to the baits described in the video. The seasonal breakdown as well as relating what traditional lures we usually choose in those periods was extremely helpful. Maybe you could add the list of baits in the Show More section?? Thanks.
Thanks for the all your videos. I like them all especially tournament video and how you win almost every one of them. Thanks for doing big baits video thanks a lot
What do you do in the fall in lakes without shad, my local lake has almost no bluegill and is very over populated with bass. I think the main forage is baby bass. Also how can I catch big bass witch for this lake is anything above 4 is huge.
I live and fish in Florida. Live shiner guys catch trophie bass. What are some of the very best artificial live shiner baits that you can recommend for
I've been fishing lake murray in California after work for 3 days. 60 degrees out. Throwing the flow glider and no bites. After reviewing your video i should have brought my rubber boot tail swim bait. Frustrating not catching anything. Thanks for the great videos!
Have you dabeled with the new Gan craft 70? And if not would you be confident in saying that you could turn it into a chopping glide like you did in the other videos? An would that bait modification work with like an S waver? A BFS video would be cool. My idea was like a finess cranking system!!
So I’ve watched the video with Matt Peterson and he said he really likes braid and I’ve noticed that you’ve gone from braid to flouro and I was wondering which is better? I think guys feel better having braid on an expensive bait but the flouro helps conceal the line.
Great Video but I was Hoping to hear about the 6th Sense Trace Swim Baits... These are where My budget is so Maybe a Future Technique and Mod Segment..
Looking to tap into swimbait fish in pa. We have reservoirs with shad and natural lakes with perch and bluegill eaters. I cant seem to find a good perch imitator for when they setup on bottom or in 10-20’ suspended. Any experience on those kind of perch bites?
I live in Central IL and fish alot of strip-mine lakes where they can get to 50' deep, alot of them are private and do not get fished alot. We do the typical fishing the banks and we do good for fish to eat. My best is about 7lbs. Sometimes the lakes are not very wide. But are still 20' in the middle. I have been getting the subscription from 6th sence since Christmas and just using different baits that the fish typically do not see, has increased the amount I catch. But ik some of these ponds have monster bass in them, we have seen them but can never get them to bite. The pond do not really have a big shad population. Is there any suggestion you can give me besides buying livescope(lol)???
I just bought two flow gliders they came with a yellow tail.. kinda throwing off my confidence, should I get the white tails or am I just being too critical?
I live in Delaware right now ive been killing it on 6 inch white shad swim baits, white crankbaits and red lip less crankbaits. I've caught fish on other baits but those 3 have been money over the last few weeks
Blows my mind how knowledgeable you are about every single bait
That is one of the reasons I was so stoked when I found Milliken Fishing. So much shared knowledge.
Really appreciate that Russ! Sometimes I have a hard time explaining what I’m thinking and seeing but I’ll keep doing my best
I don't really do well with swimbaits/glide baits, but I keep trying. I always find myself coming back to this video.
I love tuning back into this video. So much info that it blows my mind every time I watch it.
Had to come back and brish up on my knowledge before hitting the water this weekend. This video is absolutely timeless!

Awesome info, been using these all wrong and haven't caught one on the large swimbait or glides. Can't wait to see if this pays off.
The knowledge of of all these different swimbaits is why I became a M Fer and I love the videos 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
This video was worth the $$ to subscribe! Seriously, this video saves us all time and money . I continually throw bigger baits , but it seems in vain until you snatch a big. So this helps the confidence to continue!

Great informative video! What diameter size of lead wire do you use to weight your bigger glide baits?
I fish exclusively in Florida on shallow bodies of water max depth 9’ and filled with hydrilla and some shell beds. Can glide baits be effective or should I be sticking with soft baits like the mag draft?

I have watched this video at least 1/2 dozen times and found something new each time. Thank you Ben! Oh, and where do we go to order that same shirt?
Wow, that's incredible! Can you suggest some distributor names where I can buy them? I'm particularly interested in lead baits.

I think Ben is the swimbait guru
Forget all the “pros” and experts who fish them
Great breakdown

Flourocarbon 💯%

What do you use to weigh down slow float or floating baits?
Typically lead wire wrapped around the hooks for hard baits or there are also tungsten strip weights that you can stick on them.
Hey brother, do you like a faster sink rate for river s?
Yes
Are dobyn rods tubes in the back ground
the intro was awesome
what kind of lead wire do you use and where can I get some. would like to make the draw and trace sink faster
You'll go down in history as the biggest big bass fisherman. When I'm 60 I'll be talking about your skills. Lol
Great content
I Live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and sometimes go to New Jersey… what kind of baits are best for large mouth bass?
I live in Delaware right now ive been killing it on 6 inch white shad swim baits, white crankbaits and red lip less crankbaits. I've caught fish on other baits but those 3 have been money over the last few weeks
