      How fast does it take you to load a fighter in for example a combat zone? Like F16 returns and immediately needs Aamraams and Aim 9x’s, how fast could you rearm it?

    • @USAirForceRecruiting
      @USAirForceRecruiting  Год назад +2

      Aviationist101, it depends on which munitions. For Aim 120s and Aim 9s, less than 30 mins to include fuel.

    This is one of my job options to join. If I want to have a good stable income for after my contract is over will this be a good MOS to do or no?

    • @tonyh1305
      @tonyh1305 Год назад

      That depends on a few things
      Their is a few jobs out there. But it based on your skill level and job experience.
      4 or 6!year enlistment you may need help afterwards to get your foot in the door
      Most look at career or different skill sets.
      20+ years is best
      Level 7 is good
      Safety and Inspection are also good traits to learn or jobs to hold while in in. Looks good a resume.
      Education while you are in also is a big +.

    I know this might not have to do Munitions but will you guys actually be working with real aircraft such as the f-22 and or f-35 in the next 10 to 15 years? Thank you and go air force!

    • @USAirForceRecruiting
      @USAirForceRecruiting  Год назад +1

      Rachel, both of those aircraft are recent additions to the Air Force inventory. Yes, we will be working with these aircraft for the next several years as the average fighter aircraft in the service is over 20 + years old.

    What does it mean to be level 5 explosives? How do you get it?

    • @USAirForceRecruiting
      @USAirForceRecruiting  Год назад +4

      Superpidgon, when an Airman graduates tech school where they learned their Air Force career they are a 3 level. As a 3 level you must always be supervised. Once they get to their base they will do on the job training and also take academic tests and eventually become a 5 level. Once you are a 5 level you can complete several tasks without supervision.

    • @USAirForceRecruiting
      @USAirForceRecruiting  Год назад +1

      Superpidgon, you are welcome. Yes, there is a 7 level that supervises and trains the 3 and 5 levels. Then there is the 9 level (the highest) that is in charge of all the personnel in that squadron for that career.

      Superpidgon, you are welcome. FYI, it is not called "level 5 explosives". Air Force personnel are addressed by their rank and last name. Each career has skill levels (3-9).
