    I was AGE back in 92-96 at fairchild AFB. One thing i remember from my classes at the base, was the definition of troubleshooting. " A sytematic sequence of series and events, that leads to the isolation, and or elimination of a system malfunction" ;)

    I did AGE. It's true you learn so much. This was one of my best choices in life. I would go out and do it today again. I am of the age that some would say: "old man get out of the way". Physically and mentally I would love working AGE again. Too bad the AF has to think us old farts can't keep up with young farts. Their missing out. 😁

      is there a civilian job market for AGE?

    • @sherwoodski
      @sherwoodski Месяц назад

      @@anms2023 Yes, large airports have ground support equipment that needs to be serviced and maintenance regularly. Many AGE mechanics work in the power generation industry. I myself leveraged the experience I got in the AF working on electrical and automation systems in industry. I later decided to finish my education degree in Industrial Technology. I now use many of the skills I gained in AGE to teach electrical systems, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, small engines and diesel engines. A friend who retired from the AF has had a 20 + year career in power generation after he retired from the AF.
