@Ddhfacetyy - Sorry to say, but I was working on editing what I said, and you responded before the last one, but, that said, Dora, the person I refer to, loved her raisins, and often as well in savory sitituations, which I still fly by. I feel like isolation is definitely getting to Brad!! He seemed much more snappy and negative than usual, especially with Gaby, but maybe that's just me
Okay I truly don't understand the green bell pepper hate? I'm usually at least 90% on board with everyone's opinions but this one leaves me bewildered. It's just a bell pepper with a more green, vegetal, peppery flavor?? What is there to have a strong opinion about? Plus, it's really good to throw in raw in salsas and sofritos to add freshness and bite. Granted I wouldn't eat one like an apple, but I wouldn't do that with any pepper.
@@melissac5740 I mean, I hear what you're saying. But even iceberg has its uses (mostly in burgers/sandwiches just for crunch, but still) and doesn't receive this kind of vitrol. I'm not saying I stan green bell peppers, but I definitely don't find them offensive...
@@Rinnytintin25 it really depends on how you are cooking it. Like they say in the video, it makes Gumbo, and it is part of the holly trinity/mirepoix. But when cooking with the holly trinity or mirepoix, these things are only the base of flavor and get cooked down to essentially mush leaving no texture. In this scenario you do not taste the distinct flavour of green pepper. Basically the pepper just needs to be fully cooked down. It is not something you would want to eat steamed or without added flavors.
I love that Andy understands that pineapple is not a question of pineapple and ham but pineapple and PEPPERONI. PINEAPPLE AND PEPPERONI. My favorite pie is pineapple, pepperoni, and jalapenos.
The hatred for green bell peppers is eye opening - they are awesome on a pizza, in fajitas (with other peppers) and they taste good just cut in strips and stirfried with beef - and you can just eat the like an apple. I had no idea others felt this way. Will think twice before putting it in dishes for parties

I was literally snacking on a box of raisins as he said that.
Chris Morocco, as a judge in the Supreme Court: If you are not acknowledging or disavowing the presence of a ham product in conjunction with that pineapple, then I say the question is moot and we might as well just move on. 🤣
chris: if you can't handle a little bit of pulp, you've got problems
me hating pulp: well he's not wrong
I've got 99 problems and considering I hate pulp it seems I have 100 instead.
I have sensory issues and pulp causes severe issues for me sooooooooo go eff yourself to all the chefs saying I got problems :(

Poor Gaby she just wanted to share her yogurt :(
it’s so funny how Brad rushes Gabby and tries to get her to get to the point but come on Brad have u seen ur videos on BA😭😭
Yeah, I kinda felt he was almost rude there.
Yes, it's gotten to the point that I don't want to watch videos centered on Brad and his ego / digressions any more. Even though he tends to cook foods I want to eat more than a lot of others. Twenty minute time slots and less than ten minutes are focused on actual cooking. (But he's got cute kids.)
Do better Brad. 😏

I love gabi, she just wants to talk😂😂
So funny that she was going off on tangents, and Brad was trying to rein her back in, whereas usually it's the other way around 😆
Rosario, br0dy and Ddhfacetyy - agreed all.
Rosario Young it’s the Latina in her lol
Rosario and others - It's a long story I'll make short, but I lived with an Argentinian woman, as sort of my step-mother, for 15 years of the 80 I knew her before she died, well over 90, but she is responsible for the better part of my understanding of good food and technique, so of course, Gabby reminds me of her.
Give raisins a chance.
@Ddhfacetyy - Sorry to say, but I was working on editing what I said, and you responded before the last one, but, that said, Dora, the person I refer to, loved her raisins, and often as well in savory sitituations, which I still fly by.
I actually don't recal if she ate yoghurt or not, but I know she loved raisins, particularly in empenadas and such, as Gabriella is so veherment of, so was Dora.
I love how Christina and Sohla are absolute chill while Brad and Gaby are total chaos energy. Chris and Andy are planning a very delicate, picky heist. Molly and Carla are just shooting the breeze. Rick and Amiel are waiting for the bars to open. Claire and Alex want to make fun of everybody, but are being polite. Felix just wants dinner.

HOW CAN BLACK LICORICE BE MORE POPULAR THAN GREEN BELL PEPPERS?!!!?!!
cuz it tastes like something
bc green bell peppers are disgusting
I hate bell peppers, but that has to do with my father being deathly allergic to them. Now I have a sort of Pavlovian response where if I smell or taste them I feel like I have to warn everyone in the room.
Black licorice is great, though.

It's an unripe red pepper. So the flavours are less developed and it has a very "green" flavour. It's kind of like the iceberg lettuce of peppers.
@@melissac5740 I mean, I hear what you're saying. But even iceberg has its uses (mostly in burgers/sandwiches just for crunch, but still) and doesn't receive this kind of vitrol. I'm not saying I stan green bell peppers, but I definitely don't find them offensive...
Nicole Parish I 100% agree. It literally ruins a dish.
They aren't as sweet as red and yellow and orange ones
Chris' face when Andy describes about pineapple on pizza is priceless.
And yet I am disgusted nonetheless.

Two years late but I agree, love them, wouldn’t touch them as a kid but they are soo good, I can’t believe people dislike them soo much😱
Stuffed green bell peppers, sauteed bells with onions. The slight bitter taste goes well with a lot of things.
I like capsicum (bell pepper), raisins and (European) white chocolate. I HATE mayo. These people would have a field day interrogating me...

When I make my own OJ I strain the pulp out. I will eat orange slices if I want pulp, NOT DRINK THEM as tiny shards.
