People don't care when it bows, they want to know when is snaps and falls. The reason they want to know that is if you are working alone, you want one that you can reach out and lower it down to hook something several feet away to measure to. They will have quite a bit of bow before they snap and fall. The distance is governed mostly by the width and crown of the tape. For instance, my Stanley 25' tape is 1.160" wide (1 5/32") and it will extend 12' before it snaps and falls. These are 0.960" wide (15/16") so they can extend ~ 8' before they snap and fall. The narrower the tape, the less the height of the crown will be, the shorter it can extend before it snaps and falls.
Thanks for this video. I couldn't find any images on the Amazon page or in the customer reviews which confirmed that the display could do fractional inch measurements, and this was a big help in that regard.
Cool. The Mileseey DT20 (it has a bluetooth version for easy transfer of measurements to the computer) is the best when it comes to this price range of laser tape measure and it has metric units too, can calculate area, volume & height of a triangle. As you pull the tape measure of the DT20 which has the best metal vs. Stanley, the LCD exact measurement for maximum precision, similar to a digital caliper. But it's tempting to buy the lower models (or even clones of it), relatively cheaper version of the amazing Mileseey DT20 but it's not (I have the lower model, you truly need the measurement on the LCD as you pull out the tape measure, like a digital caliper but I don't think it can replace a digital caliper though)- Mileseey is one of those amazing 100% chinese brands, like Zorro (for lighters which has better build quality than Zippo, every Zippo people like myself, wish Zippo would buy Zorro so it can have it's build quality X-D) or Huawei or DJI (which is actually Hong Kong which isn't really china) or other good chinese cellphone brands- they are just a handful but Mileseey is one of them. It should have a build it level though (so you don't need to use your iPhone's level or a small level placed on the laser tape measure, the General brand has that but it doesn't have area, volume & height of a triangle built-in calculator and doesn't display the measurement on the LCD as you pull out the tape measurement like the amazing Mileseey DT20), coz' without it the precision from long distances will suffer a bit if there's an angle as the laser is shooting, say from wall to wall that's 40m (131 feet) apart, if one's measuring the area. Another affordable one is the Measure King but it's not accurate sadly and it doesn't have a tape measure with the marking on it but it does have a roller for curve measurement like a cylindrical piece (normally you use a string then measure that) which you use the metal tape measure of a DT20 but one risks snapping the metal tape measure into two. If one wants a truly branded laser tape measure w/ built-in level and all the things the Mileseey DT20 has and the Prexiso, the gold standard they say, like Weller, or 3M Aura 1870+ for Covid masks, for laser tape measurements, the brand to buy is the 3-in-1 TackLife Laser Tape Measure (on their website there's just the older 2-in-1 laser tape measure). @@ALWAYSOCCUPIEDTV Check Project Farm's Laser Tape Measure (not to be confused with laser rangerfinder or laser distance measure), I recommended it to make that video. I have new recommendations for him to test (still related to digital tape measures). I wish Project Farm included the amazing Mileseey DT20 (their newest model).
This product is good. I am looking for one that will read the tape digitally instead of the laser. I saw something on Instagram, but I can't find the product. But this one still gets the 👍
Thanks for this video. I just got mine from Amazon, it has manuals. I would like ask what does 88.5mm 3 1/2" with < > means on the belt clip side (back) lower left side. Please and thank you. Will appreciate 🙏 response
Hello friend. I gave this to a friend a long time ago. But I do miss it! All tape measure has 3 1/2 because that’s the size of the measure tape. So when you measure from wall to wall you have to add the 3 1/2 because of the size of the tape measure. I hope this helps.
@@ALWAYSOCCUPIEDTV i actuall decided on another brand , but , your video was very helpful in knowing how they actually work , the brand i decided has all the same features and about , 60ft more of laser , and it digitally reads the tape as well ..and was about 5 bucks cheaper 🤣, but i am the tool and garget gotta have it queen for my dyi projects , so , ill be watching. Thanks again 😊
That’s what I thought before I bought it smh. I’m looking for a good one that do both. Someone in the comments found one. I might be looking into that.
Well on the specs it says one full charge can do 5000 measurements . That’s a lot for me I rarely use it because I don’t use the laser that much. I mainly use the measure 📐 tape

Wow , this is what I need, something to replace my old tape measure instead of just having another tool

Damn I found one the exact one on eBay for $25! Cant wait to try it out definitely gonna make my job easier
When your using the laser function, does the measurement on the display include the tape measure itself or do you have to add it later?
Unfortunately, the tape measure doesn't show on display. I bought it because I thought it would do that.
I need this for my Weekend Warrior kit. My wife thinks I'm a masculine handyman!

Ya but it's a 2 in 1 but the digital only works with the laser I baught it thinking it would give me a digital readout on both
That’s what I thought before I bought it smh. I’m looking for a good one that do both. Someone in the comments found one. I might be looking into that.
How can I get this digital tape from Tousif Bangladesh🇧🇩 Please help me and how much it costs
Sorry I don't know about that. Maybe you can contact Amazon about that
I've never Hurd of anyone care when it bows, they care about when it snaps
The people I used to work with care about both, lol 😆
Nice video! what is output rated on this product? Is that 3.7Vdc, 200mAh? What is the compatible USB charger output rating?

For the measuring tape boss it shows how much feet is used or inches as well once you use the magnetic end to grab on metal etc
Or does that only work with the laser I meant the measuring tape in general
@@rico38baby91 only the laser feature show the measurements digitally in foot and inches
OK I don’t know how you got the 1’ 4” because I don’t know what button you pushed because mine says zero
How do I change it from meter to feet?
Sorry for late reply. To make that change you have to hit the “func” button
I did not get any instructions on this.
I hope this video helped you. I dont have instructions
Great for indoor with low light. Outside dont work for shit when the sun is up
It was okay for me. Maybe some people might feel the same way as you.
