      Bro that was the standard of European football at the time. Villa won the Football League (old Prem) with 60 pts. Juve won 1980 Serie A with only 44. The 90+ seasons of Pep we've grown so accustomed to have only happened within the last decade or so because of advancements in training, tactics, nutrition, etc.

    And ... He Graduated as a Dentist from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico then played for their Professional Football Team, Los Pumas de la UNAM.
    Hugo was called "El Niño de Oro" (The Golden Boy) and we also would refer to him as "Hugol".
    I was made a Real Madrid Fan in 1985 when he was Drafted.
    Here in Mexico I hate it that the press and TV don't praise him like other countries do with their heroes.

    Fun fact: Mexico was suspended from 2 world cups. This was during Hugo’s prime years. When he finally got to play for in the WC he was much older. Also, Europe teams wasn’t as big as it use to be. Other leagues in the world were similar in strength. This includes PUMAS beating Real Madrid at Real Madrid.

    You already knew in football ecosystem a lot of great players had their debut professional career when they were teenagers.
    So I have a question though
    Did American have to graduate from college before they had professional contract? I mean, most of the athletes came from draft picks which is based on their NCAA careers. So American athletes starts their professional career at 20+ years old, right?
    So imagine if American sports league adopt the academy concept. Zion would be close to his ceiling or in his prime for maybe next 8-10 years and he would be protected from them hoes. Kobe could be the legend of 76ers.
