- Ranking Genshin Impact Characters on a tier list, based on what they'd do when invited to a party... Who will be the life of the party between these 2.2 and 2.3 characters?
I don't feel confident enough in my knowledge of how each and every character in Genshin performs/what teams are "best". I like to play the game however is most fun for me. So while I can't make a tier based on the in-game usability of each character, I can certainly make some random ones that nobody actually asked for or needed to know 😂
This tier list is made solely for entertainment purposes, and shouldn't be taken super seriously.

So about Childe. It is mentioned on his character story that's the one he says a street performes be make a point of dancing. Also on the latest quest paimon her self says that he is a really good dancer. So yeah easily the life of the party

In the archon quest, before fighting him, she was mostly with the traveller, and I don't remember them having a reason to go visit Childe off screen. And after fighting him we see him twice before Inazuma, and I doubt they'd have met him off screen given how they didn't seem very fond of him.
I mean, it’s pretty much canon at this point that they actively show up to fight his ass every week (the battle is not listed as a memory like the Dvalin, Azhdaha or Signora fights, and during his story quest they tell Teucer that they spar every week). I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s off screen dancing and shenanigans at some point 😂
Zhongli is socializing, asking people if they know where those who share the memory are.

That'll be chaos: Venti just finds wine in general. Zhongli will be like “OTHSMANTHUS WINE”. Barbara and Xinyan will be fighting for the stage. Childe will be fighting in general. Kaeya and Lisa will be flirting with everyone. Diona will be yelling at Diluc while he tries to have peace in the corner. Xingqiu will probably drag Chongyun there then they’ll just stand in a corner together. Hu Tao will be selling coffins. And this is pure chaos lol

Kaeya would definitely just be drunk. But the "inebriated" category should maybe just be "shows up to drink" because I would see Rosaria in there. She comes, drinks, watches people be a mess.

It is so freakin funny XD... I agree with most of them but I would probably make one part for Zhongli and call it "Shows up to share memories" cause he sounds like the guy who would come and drink a bit and just tell every random fact he can.
I would probably invite Kazuha, Amber and Thomas (assuming they would be my friends cause my social skills are lower than Razor's lol) because they're nice and quiet and that means if you want to do activities it's gonna be fine and if you want a more calm meeting it will be fine too

Yoimiya would totally be in life of the party, setting a surprise firework show or something. Zhongli has a lot of free time and wants to accommodate to a human lifestyle, so he might show up to the party.
Xingqiu would more likely be part of the "Life of the party" list. It's stated in lore that despite his very noble aura, he is very mischievous; to the point of him and Hu Tao being buddies(They bully Chongyun together). at the very least he would be socializing.
Amber would be the life of the party, socializing and show up for friends.

Considering the amount of shit the travelers do on a Daily basis, they would probebly run the whole thing.
I will say I could honestly see Kazuha being put into the inebriated category cause he does really like his Sake with him asking Beidou for some in his first character trailer.
I can only assume they’re drinking buddies because of it.
Anyway, great video it was really funny. Favorite part may have been imagining Qiqi and Diluc standing alone but together in a corner.
I think yoymiya belongs in life of the party because of the fireworks and how upbeat she is
I think a fascinating way to look at this tier list is by considering how the elements of each character's vision plays with their placement in the tier list.
The Childe bit is so accurate in my opinion

So about diluc, hes actually a very social person especially in parties. In the comics hes basically the genius playboy philanthropist
Kaeya would go in inebriated imo. He isn't a spy that we know of anymore. Mona says he believes he has made a clean tie with that past. Although he still hides and lies a lot there is not much to give that he still is a spie, it's leading towards he's not.

- Disagree on Eula, given what I've seen of her in quests, while she IS looked at with contempt by many of the people of Mondstadt, she very clearly enjoys the opportunity to have interactions with people, untainted by the influence of her Family name.
- Also Zhongli, I feel like would be there for friends or to socialise.
I think you should've put xinqui and chongyun in the "Spend time with their friends" Since both of them are friends, xinqui would 100% drag chongyun into the party, and also they're both confirmed to be friends with hu tao
If anyone belongs in the "busy working" tier, it's the Cocogoat.
As for Ningguang, given her social status, you could just as well argue that the party host is indebted to her if she shows up.

I think Kaeya would be inebriated since as we’ve seen he loves to drink. And although Ayaka would probably love to spend time with friends, in her story lore she didn’t really have anyone close other than the traveler cause she has a hard time being herself and letting loose. She’s more likely to try upholding her reputation and stand alone. And come on! Ganyu would definitely be too busy with work

Look, I have one polite disagreement here:
The traveler 100% would be drunk off their ass. They’re arguably thousands of years old while stuck in a 15 year old body for plot convenience, trying to find their sibling who may or may not be set on destroying this world, reliving memories of arriving to this world amidst an entire country going up in flames, is stuck babysitting a floating toddler and has to fix everyone’s shit anytime they want to go anywhere. If they’re given an opportunity to drink without being stopped by someone questioning their age, they’re probably going to do so gladly and without question.
I feel like chongyun would 100% be dragged by xingqiu and hu tao but if he doesn't then I agree he will stay home since he spends all his time training, meditating, and keeping himself cool. He doesn't even know what fun is 🥺🤧🤧

I feal like hu tao would stay home because in the game apparently not many people in liyue like her, i think only yanfei does.
Very valid tier list, but I think Ganyu wouldn't come to the party because she is overworked af, you mentioned Childe's competitive nature, imagine him and Arataki Itto on the same party, absolute pure chaos, Sara would show up just to silence Itto and taking him to the police station (again) Qiqi i think would love to come, after all she is a child and wants to have fun, but wouldn't come for just the fact because she forgot about the party completely. Diluc, as the owner of a winery has to host a lot of social events, so i think he would be a bit more social, but in the end he would just stay in the corner watching in silence, I just love the idea of the Traveler managing to drag Xiao along with him, and him standing menacingly in the corner with his mask on, bopping his head to the music, also the thought of yanfei dropping some fire bars at the party...
You should make Zhong li special cuz remember, 6 minutes for him is like 6 hours so if the party is held in 2 days he might come after 200 years

Nice tier list, but I think we need a more accurate tier list of party.
To do that:
1- The party in question should be something concerning the traveler, because he is the only thing that will connect everyone together. Something like a welcome party, farewell party, recovery party or birthday party (therefore no one will not come, everyone will at least show up.
2- Only those playable characters will show up, so no NPCs or a lot of unnecessary crowd.
So yeah, the tier list should be like what you said, just without the last 2 ranks
I think you forgot that the party might occur in multiple rooms or even outside, allowing far more than 4 people to stand in the corner...
So... I want to argue with Liza and Ganyu. We all know Ganyu is freaking workaholic, she basicly lives through Work, so she falls in "busy working" and Liza is actually introverted af, she can tolerate Talking with Jean or Keya, but mostly she Just wont ever leave library if not forced to go patroling in Festival days. So i'd say she falls in "stays home" category, cause she Will definetely prefer Just sit home drinking tea
Ganyu should be busy working. Lisa canonically prefer to stay home.
Noelle would be the one to find herself working at the party, serving drinks or cleaning up after the Ventis of the group. I would've translated that as "life of the party" in this case, though it probably would be more appropriate to make a new tier just for her.
Honestly I feel like I agree with 90% of these. They seem pretty accurate to the characters.

Noelle has actually two very probable outcomes. First is one you have mentioned, thus she wants to do some chivalric training and studying. The second one (not the less probably though) is that she would want to serve at the party like a proper maid (thus fitting into "just showing up" or probably "spending time with friends"). That actually mixes it with her being at work, but we all know her, she would be eager to help :3
I think Zonghli will come. Seeing his attitude so open and easy to talk with people. I will say he will come to socialize with friends. He isn't introvert but ambivert. I saw his story quest always on between several people who needed him. Especially it is party with free food :v or drink. Who will miss it? 🤣

Qiqi is the kind of character that always trys to move because she was once dead and woken up again. You can see that in her motion when you leave her alone, she is strechting and in the PV she isn't standing in one place rather running along places over places
So she wouldn't just standing on the corner if she went to the party
Also, as she doesn't want to be shown by Hu tao(and Hu tao will possibly show up in the party, she has a good relationship with chonyun, Xingqi, Zhongli), I think she would stay in home but wandering around worrying about her body.
+ Ganyu she is the kind of character that is a workaholic
In her personal story, when Ganyu was away and 3 people had to do her work, the work was so hard that the 3 people had to work until late at night everyday... And that is the work one person, which is Ganyu, had to do so she would be in the work tier rather than the just stay home...
Business are pretty tie to debts…so yeah she’s totally on the shows up

This video is old but I'd say Noelle would show up if the party host called her since as a maid she would see it as her to job to fulfill everyone's wishes and having someone ask you to come is a wish that needs fulfilling and so she would show up gladly to follow everyone's orders by whatever the party members need ( don't ask how I know the mindset of a maid ... * goes to order a maid dress * )
