Visions of Glory was the number one BEST non-fiction seller in Utah in 2023. The LDS church has made no effort to debunk the author's claims of his near death visions. This is a dangerous book!

Visions of Glory is not part of the church curriculum butttttt it is popular among Mormon members; preppers and non preppers alike. The church does nothing to stop it because folks are already mesmerized by Mormonism before reading it and they just dig deeper into principles of the church. The egg came first, not the chicken.

@@Opeddthe Church is not involved in this because it has NOTHING to do with their twisted thinking. It's like taking the Constitution and saying it was the basis for what they did. They are sick and twisted in their own minds. End of story. They could have used Willy Wonka with the same results.

    • @herroyalhighness5634

Many things in that book are actually very contradictory to Mormon doctrine. For mainstream members it’s hard to wrap your mind around how people can say they believe in the Mormon church and also accept the things in that book. Traditional, active Mormon members consider that book “fringe” at best and apostate at worst. And that was even before the fruits of its teachings were on display in several prominent crime cases. The church organization does not promote that book. The author was even going to lose his membership in the church over it shortly after it was published. So publicly he made a statement that minimized his teachings and said it was just visions and not “true” in order to keep his church membership. Behind closed doors he continued to teach these things to various people, even meeting with some of them (including allegedly Tim Ballard per court documents).

Why doesn’t the LDS church ban Visions Of Glory? That book took Rexburg by storm. It’s a ridiculous book on visions and the end of times. All the church has to say is don’t read this. All the other books that were floating around with dangerous material. Julie Rowe’s books. Took forever to excommunicate her. She filled the auditorium at the Rexburg Temple. AVOW is another thing the church should come out against. A Voice Of Warning. They are just fleecing people in this prep-per community for tents and food storage. Families have been torn about the money spent on this. I believe there will be more deaths unless the Bishops come out against all this. Money being made by energy healing is another way to fleece people.

The one FACT that really stands out to me is that Chad only deemed the people around Lori Daybell as dark and in a zombie state, with the exception of Tammy, his wife, because he needed to get rid of her to be with his "rich" mistress
None of his family were on that hit list. None of his children were on that hit list. None of his in-laws were on that hit list.
Now, why would that be? Lori wasn't the Doomsday Prophet. Lori wasn't the one telling everyone else who was dark and zombie like. Lori wasn't the one telling everyone the only way to get rid of the zombie is to kill the body.
    That was Chad Daybell.

It’s still hard to believe Alex’s was a “natural” death. That aside, it doesn’t actually help either Chad or Lori, because she never reported her own children missing, Chad knew she had children and never reported them missing, he lied to his family about Lori even having children, he lied to police when they came for the welfare check when he said he barely knew Lori and did not have her phone number and the children were found in buried in Chad’s backyard after texting Tammy some story about raccoons and limb burning to conceal their actions on the property and running off to Hawaii days after Tammy’s death to marry the mother of missing children. Alex doesn’t really matter in the end. Chad was 100% part of the heinous murder and “disposal” of children. I know he’s entitled to a defense but this is a waste of time.

John Prior is insufferable. I have disliked him from the very beginning, when they were first charged. I find him to be very arrogant and it's off putting. I'm not sure this will come up in trial, but Visions of Glory is a book Chad and Lori were both obsessed with. Not only them but Ruby Franke, Jodi H, and Tim Ballard as well. These people all attended the same prepper conferences and preparing a people conferences too. This book fueled their belief system. As far as Chad's trial goes....this trial is going to be very different bcuz Pryor is actually putting on a defense for Chad where Lori wouldn't allow her attys to defend her at all. Chad will tell Lori thru their "portal" that he threw her under the bus for the greater good of their beliefs. Just in case he gets off at least one of them will be able to carry on and gather the 144,000. LOL.

My point is, narcissists will be narcissists with or without weird religions and guidebooks to tell them what to think. They will latch onto whatever suits their PERSONAL agenda, whether that’s Trump, Mormonism, some NDE book, The Westboro Baptist Church, or whatever the case. So unless the book asks people to hurt others, I wouldn’t place much blame on it.

True, it isn't important in the grand scheme of things whether or not Tammy made a facebook post or wrote an email, BUT even small mistakes like this make a lawyer look like they don't know their case. If my life is literally on the line, I want my lawyer to know my case inside and out. If I was watching a true crime video and the person said it was an email it would make me question their research.

We all know it’s very possible that Alex was the one who actually got his hands dirty in these gruesome murders BUT with conspiracy you do not have to be the one to commit the crime- only perform an action to further the crime. Chad is the one who created all of the dark and light lists-all the people who were listed as dark people “disappeared”. That fact alone could be enough to convict. And there is A LOT more than just that to link Chad. Prior can point the finger all he wants but we will see, they all played a part in Charles, Tylee, and JJ’s murder. Tammy’s murder I haven’t seen much evidence so I am hoping they have enough proof for justice for Tammy as well.

    • @kateashby3066
      @kateashby3066 5 месяцев назад

For Tammy they did an autopsy and said she was strangled, and she was in bed with Chad and only Chad all night. That’s where he F’d up! So it’s impossible for him to have not been involved. His lawyer says he has experts that say she didn’t die that way but we shall see…

For a lawyer to be so out of touch with what social media even looks like, doesn’t look good for him as a lawyer. He’s had this case for YEARS, you would think he would have known by now. Prior is a manipulator. He asks leading questions (or statements) and ends his question with “Right?” He hopes the jurors will remember what he said rather than the facts of the evidence.
His cross focuses on the “paintball gun” incident so he hopes to distract the jurors from the horrific reality of the children being found in his client’s back “pasture”. I pray the jurors are not fooled by his tactics and remember that two innocent children’s remains were found in Daybell’s property !!!
Prior is not respectful of the judge or the process. He addresses Judge Boyce as Judge and not as Your Honor. I believe the jurors will notice this and it will trouble them. Many people in Idaho are conservative and very respectful in dealing with other people, especially those in positions of authority. Prior is demonstrating a lack of respect for the judge and that won’t sit well with the jury. He dismisses one of the investigating officers as he says “I can’t remember his name, Officer K”. Incredibly disrespectful !!!
How impressive of Detective Hermosillo in how he deals with Prior.
Nate Eaton, Gigi, Justin Lum and Lauren Matthias are all terrific in their coverage.
Mr. Peter, I appreciate your analysis !! You give me s9me peace of mind about the ultimate outcome of this. Will you do the same for the Idaho 4 case because the defense attorney there is pulling some pretty outrageous stunts,

It's Idaho, I think he will get death. Idaho doesn't mess around! He will not do well in an Idaho Prison either. It's going to be rough for him. He's been sitting in Madison County, where little Mormon ladies cook good food too. Boy, he is in for a rude awakening. It's probably already setting in while he sits in Ada County for the trial. The prisons there are dangerous because of overcrowding, too. He's in the county now, and day one, in the actual prison, justice will be served. I wrote a thesis on Idaho incarceration in 2017. Im well aware of the conditions inside, and they aren't good.

I think they are both equally guilty, but the way his defense opening was that he was manipulated by Lory is a stretch. Lory’s defense was basically that she really believed the things that got her into this. She acted like for her this is a reality. He coming now with blaming everybody and in some way these people put him in that positions seems like was really easy for him to snap out of his beliefs. Has that feeling of Ruby and Jody, one saying was the other one and the other one saying she was manipulated. These people conveniently wake up from their convictions when they will receive justice and are quite delusional to believe that will make them look less guilty.
