    2) the children belonged to his new wife
    3) the texts about the kids being dark and zombies
4)rating Tammy Dark and a zombie named "Viola"- the lies about the night she died to her friends-inconsistencies...
    5) promises from chad to Lori that Tammy wasn't long to this world
    6) the texts about his love for Lori and his plan for a life with her
    7) getting married to the mother of the dead children 17 days after his wife died..

I 100% believe that lori wanted JJ gone to punish Kay Woodcock.
JJ could have gone to live with Kay and Larry if she wanted to be free of him, but she chose to do the worst thing she could think of to K and L.
She was so angry about the life insurance that she unleashed her depravity on K and L, using JJ as a tool to cut as deep as she could.
JJ meant nothing to her, he was only useful to her to amplify and reflect her 'good mother' role in other people's eyes.

    JOHN PRIOR in 2012 >
Faced with the possibility of a maximum 20-year prison sentence if he had been found guilty of felony battery for allegedly forcing himself on a woman in his law office conference room last year, an Idaho attorney has taken a mid-trial plea to misdemeanor battery.
John Prior, 50, will now face a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine when he is sentenced in November in the Canyon County case, according to the Idaho Statesman and KTVB.
Prior was indicted by a grand jury for felony battery with intent to commit rape after being accused of attacking a 20-year-old woman who said she came to his Nampa office seeking a job and advice on a child-custody case, the Statesman reports. Before the trial concluded Friday with Prior’s plea, his lawyer, Scott Fouser, told the jury during opening statements that Prior paid the woman, who was in dire straits financially, for sex. She then lied about the incident to her boyfriend, her family and police, Fouser said.
However, the woman testified before Prior took his plea that she refused when he offered her a job and help with the custody case in exchange for having sex with him, the Associated Press reported earlier.
The state attorney general’s office prosecuted the case.

If they would have asked what you think is the better question, “were David or Mel’s kids found in their own backyards,” then the State has to confirm if they ever actually checked David or Mel’s backyards and Prior can easily get the witness to say “no, we didn’t actually check their backyards,” and Prior can say, “so you don’t know if anyone is buried in David or Mel’s backyards…?” It leaves too much open. I don't think Melanie Gibb got immunity. I think she just wasn't involved except for lying to police that she had JJ. She finally wised up and realized that wasn't a good idea. She confronted Chad and Lori on the phone and recorded it. Who thinks their best friend is going to murder their kids? I think she was just naive and easily led.

The defense isn’t casting any doubt in my mind by asking the investigator about Melanie (not investigating her)…because we already know JJ wasn’t located in her possession, he was located in CHAD’S yard!!! Chad is cooked and the defense is annoying.

However, Chad is not the one shopping for wedding rings and wedding beachwear. I believe they were in on it together. Another thought that's been rolling around in my head would make you correct. Heather Daybell "mentioned" that a woman who seemed to be the "author dujour" at some point in time, accused Chad of s€×¿@l assault before all of this began. I have to wonder if other women had experienced this from Chad?

I can't even understand how these people thought they could have gotten away with these crimes! It really burns me when people use religion to justify their actions. I'm not LDS, (nor were they) but I hate the shame they've brought to this faith. I will never understand killing innocent children and spouses. This trial is a waste of time. He's so guilty.

Speaking of trials, I am forever shocked that the Joel Guy Jr. case and trial haven't been talked about or covered more. I live where Chad is from and yes it's a crazy case, but Joel had his mother's head cooking on the stove when the cops come in on their body cams. He put his parents in Walmart totes and was trying to liquidfy them which is also on the body cam. Then during the trial Joel nearly falls asleep out of boredom!!! Yall need to check it out.

It was covered on other true crime channels that I watch. But this type of channel tends to stick to trials that are currently in progress. That trial was at least a year or more ago.
But you are right, it was a sad & gruesome case about a spoiled POS entitled son who felt like his parents owed him all their money. Very tragic...

Yes, would love to hear what Peter would say. I would definitely give a brief summary about each witness, and tell again what the main points were that I wanted the jury to remember. I would show the autopsy photos, Chad's racoon text, his dark/light texts...so much more that I'm too tired to type.
