I got mine today, it seems like it offers pretty decent protection but I have to agree that the small piece above the charging port is way too flimsy. I can't imagine this lasting more than a month without stretching/tearing. Edit: The case does have some rigidity to it, it's not just a thin sleeve.
I recently upgraded from my Note10+ to S21 Ultra and even when I didn't use the S pen daily, I definitely miss it. I don't like that s21 ultra cover but I might end up buying whatever they launch with the S pen Pro because one of the features I used was taking pictures with the pen.

I have a Note 20. In the video he said because the S pen is not integrated with the s21 the magnetic field is always on which would make it drain the battery a little more. Is that true for you. The whole reason why I want to upgrade is because I'm tired of my note 20 draining but I don't want to go to another phone just to have the same problem. I was going to get the s22 ultra which is probably still going to be the note under a new name. But if this is fully capable of doing everything why not save some money
@@starb73 I've not found any problem with battery drain over the last 11 months I've been using the S21U. I still get over 20 hours of battery life and charge it just once a day. But I do like that the pen is a part of the phone itself in the S22U.
I use the white tip, I don't care for the natural feeling of the black one and writing with the white tip feels much faster and more fluid. I say that as someone who uses the spen more as a pen for navigation of the device rather than as a writing utensil. Also I think the older notes felt more like the white tip, before the tip was interchangeable on the note 4 (I've had every note to reference except the note 1)
From my own research, if you have the note 20, they state that it's not really needed to upgrade. I had the galaxy S7 and upgraded to galaxy S21 Ultra but note 20 still looks great!

I bought a s-pen case with a flip cover. It not only provides a little more protection, particularly to the screen, but it has a window so that you can see the time etc. In night mode.
The white tip feels as though it almost glides across the screen, I like it for digital art and editing because not only do I get nice fluid brushstrokes but also the harder tip is just that much more accurate to touch location and pressure making it good for small details and accurate lines. I also found that i wore down the tip of the black one within a month and it made it just that much more annoying to use so we'll see how long it takes for me to wear this one down
White tip vs. black tip ⚪⚫ It's almost impossible to use the black tip if you have a rubber (non-glass) screen protector like I do. It simply doesn't glide. Too much friction. However, on the bare screen or when using a glass screen protector, the black tip is ideal, creating just enough friction to make it feel like you are writing on something that has texture.

Having a frictionless white tip on the SPen would be ideal for any sort of gaming or 3D navigation in something like a 3D model viewer. Essentially, it's good for anything that isn't writing that may require quick/long swiping.

They should stop the S not the Note and no sd card slot too. No sense with no sd card slot, its one of the reasons i use a smartphone for what i like to do

In my case I swap my defected note 10plus for a total of 950 AUD credit + free bud pro earphone rrp 350 AUD. However if note 21 comes out this year with boxy body I will swap mine s21 ultra for note 21.

I'm gonna ask to you, since I bet there isn't anyone better skilled on that: Since OneUI 3.x removed Edge Lightning altogether, replacing with the cheap Pop-out Notification, have you discovered if there is a chance to get Notifications like those, during AOD time? The worst part of the new Pop-out infact is there is no more option to have those appear during screen turned off only. You have to keep them 24/7 or not having entirely. Problem is Pop-out Notif during normal phone operation suck: you can't really fast reply to anybody for example, they are too small, etc. But if you then prefer the normal notifications, you got no more short notifications during AOD time. Any suggestion on that matter?

But my main issue is how easily it breaks, its so delicate & thin. they older model s pens are hard to find too, I mainly see the ugly yellow ones on ebay. I like how the s21 s-pen is bigger, more durable. Sucks they don't have a internal slot for it, no Bluetooth capability & that button you can take pics/turn phone on/ play pause music like you can with the Note. If they release the s pen pro for it im 100% buying that phone! The s21 camera is WAY better than the Note! But i like the screen better on the Note... ugh such a hard decision!

It doesn't need charging as it do not have Bluetooth features.
