I just bought an ultra so I've been watching some of these videos. This one is jam packed with good some good stuff that isn't in most other videos. I used to be a novice root/rom guy back in the day, but none of that stuff is necessary anymore since phones pretty much come with EVERYTHING right out of the box.
Great vid, I need an S21 now! I have an S8 still and have been looking for a reason to upgrade. I really like the director's view option, perfect for vlogging.
Great tip for registering the same finger or thumb fingerprint twice for each hand for the four available slots. My fingerprints are so faint they wouldn't even register at my local DMV and hardly worked at all on my S21 Ultra. Using this tip, though, I am able to unlock my phone most times with either of the two thumb prints I registered. Thanks, Brandon, great video.
Great video. One tip missed is switching off AOD autobrightness and manually setting AOD brightness. Many people think that their AOD is too dim, I love turning my AOD brightness up.

I swear you can do like two or three cool things on Iphones the rest is just completely restricted to how Apple wants their OS to look! This is one of the biggest reasons i'm going back to Samsung.
If you have the side button assigned to bixby, you can hold the side button and volume down to access the power menu instead of having to go to the software button.

I just subscribed and currently still watching trying to figure out how to customize and I came across an issue I'm having, I don't seem to have the option to put my brightness on the notifications it only gives me 2 options... did I possibly mess something up by going into the developer mode? I'm sure I didn't touch anything besides what you said to do but I'm just trying to figure out why I don't have that option you have with the brightness? 🤔 😩
Initially it will feel a bit of complex system but if you get used to android system then you will find how vastly open system it is. You will be able to do everything. You will be able to download books, pdf, docx file and save them to internal storage. Even you will be able to download youtube videos using 3rd party apps.
I absolutely despise turning off the animations or even turning it down.. I paid over $1,000 for this smartphone and I am going to use every animation that it has to offer. 😁😁

I have a T-Mobile S21 Ultra with 12 GB of ram, there is no captioning available with the Samsung Free app, does it matter what carrier you use? That small rectangular icon you show in the upper left corner does not appear and looking further into the settings it says "subtitles not available" , so it must only be for certain versions of the hardware.

Just a little something ya missed at 16:01 for one handed mode you can actually drag the top corner border of the mini screen to resize either to make it larger or a bit smaller, it's another super sweet feature. I also believe you should make a dedicated video on goodlock(downloaed in galaxy store for samsung devices) and galaxy labs. Both great customization services for samsung's
Why does my brand new Samsung S21 ultra buffer RUclips when I put it on higher quality My 4 or 5 year old LG stylo still does not ever buffer RUclips I have to keep it on 480 to be able to watch RUclips
Just upgraded from note 20 regular to s21 ultra. As a doctor with multiple 24 hour shifts, i find the 5000mAH battery and great speakers (great for listening to audio books and loudspeaker calls with patients) to be huge upgrades over note 20. The haptic is awesome too, much tighter and feels more like an iphone
I did the same upgrade. S21 ultra is definitely heavier to me. Also have you given the fingerprint lock a try? I seem to be having issues with it recognizing my fingerprint, something I've never encountered with any of my previous Samsungs.
@@Heavenly_raina yeah it's heavier and slippery as hell. In my experience, the fingerprint and face unlock is very inconsistent. One time it's unlocked instantly, next time it took like 1 seconds. But overall it's faster and bigger than Note 20. Have you tried remove the original screen cover?
@@Heavenly_raina the s21 has a built in screen protector and loads of people are adding an additional one on top by accident causing the screen features to fail sometimes. That could be a reason🤷♂️
On the Google pixel I know you can swipe up right before you close the app you can click and hold on the text to copy. How can I do this on the s21 ultra

Amazing how well this phone held up over the last year. It's scratch free, zero speed decrease, battery life is the same (heavy daily use as well)! It's truly the best phone I've ever owned. Very few issues, maybe an app crash once in a blue moon. It got pretty hot the day I bought it, but I was downloading an update, transferring my data and watching RUclips at high resolution. Once I got that done it cooled right down and rarely gets warm let alone hot. I got it for half off. 1000% would have paid full price. I'm seeing gently used ones for 800-1000$ ATM. I would recommend that over the S22 especially if your trying to save money.
I have gone through3 Pixel 6 Pros since launch. They are finally offering me a refund so I bought a used S21 Ultra 256GB on Swappa for $900. Looks like an excellent bang for the buck and I get to save $100 over what I paid for the 256GB 6 Pro. I havent had a Samsung in over 6 years so I am nervous but your comment gave me some peace of mind. Was hoping to get a refurbished one from Samsung but cant find one anywhere.
That phone is so good. I love the face unlock, too. I think you’re not going to get a note, lol. They’re removing SD card slots. What are you thinking Google needs to do to get you to upgrade to their new Pixel, whatever that is?
@@ThisIsTechToday Oh man, honestly I would be super happy with the Pixel 5 display in XL model, killer dual proper stereo speakers, the sweet haptic motor frome the 4 XL but improved obviously 😉, all 3 focal lenses with that killer software and this one I know for sure will not but a 3.5 jack with the DAC's from the LG V line... we can dream I guess 🤷🏻♂️. Pixel has software unlocked and I wouldn't ask for more in that department, just hardware improvements. Oh almost forgot, increase their update support to 5 years of major Android versions.

The Apple USB-C to AUX makes it so you can use your phone in a car that doesnt have bluetooth, or use a set of headphones that arent bluetooth. Its like $2 and totally worth it. I figured this out when I drove to and from work with NO music after trading from my S10+ to the ultra
Using the swipe at the bottom of the screen to navigate through recent apps, double finger pull down menu, samsung free, SOS and a couple other things. I appreciate it and subscribed!

My Pixel 4 XL has not given me a single reason to get rid of it. I'll only upgrade to a more premium Pixel or Note 21 IF they keep the SD slot.
