Fun fact and possibly a bit underrated- taking the large ferry is an awesome experience when full of tourist, on a hot summers day…nothing better than just chillaxing for two hours on the upper deck, taking in the majestic rock formations along the way, making new friends, all whilst sharing a few drinks 👍🏻

Big ferry how much time it take from phiket to phiphi..?...it seems chris used the speedboat and that took 2hours..so the alower big ferry would take 5?

It actually cost 400 bhat they charged u double. Including everything thing u will get a ride to ferry and ferry to hotel .

I think my plan may be too adventurous. I'm going back to Bangkok arriving September 1st at 8:30 am and leaving September 3 at 10 PM. What are the odds I could get a flight to Phuket on arrival day and then boat to Ko Phi Phi? That would leave me all day the 2nd to do Maya bay. On morning 3 i could boat to Phuket and fly to Bangkok for my flight to Singapore. Probably insanity but figured id map it out. I should probably see what it costs to fly to Thailand a couple days earlier just to make it less stressful.
I figured it out. I won't get the nice quiet early morning in Maya bay but I see a ton of day trips from Phuket.
