Awesome and yes... don't mess with the ocean. Getting too far out is really hazardous. But don't panic. Keep making your way back in. Those urchins are treacherous.
Hi guys, just found your channel and absolutely love it. I'm now going back and watch your journey from the start. I have of course subscribed to A and Z, maybe the best channel on RUclips. Good luck you guys, stay safe.....xx
Love your channel guys. Best part is how you both embrace each culture you visit with respect by being kind, always trying the local food, and you sum things up with great information. Keep it up! I’m about to leave Australia for Asia, going for at least a year. I can’t wait! 👍🇦🇺
Nice video guys, we just going soon to Phuket, so I was thinking where else we could go for a few days to get island chill, now I definately know, Phi Phi is best options) thank you to tips, keep posted
There are 3 routes you can take to the View Point. 1) Is the Jungle Route. It looked like that may have been the route you were following at the start. I haven't taken this route for about 5 years but involves some trekking through the jungle along dirt paths. 2) Is the Road Route. This is mostly via the newly built road connecting the villages to the pier built during covid. This route is by far the longest and will take 3+ hours via the villages. This seems to be the route you ended up taking. Still watching the video but waiting until you find and realise the Step Route !! 3) Is the Steps Route. There are straight steps going straight up to Viewpoint 1 with a few stops to rest along the way. This is by far the quickest and direct route but it is a hard climb! Coming back down is much easier! (About 20-30 minutes coming down). There are 4 Viewpoints to visit altogether just a short hike from each other. You should be aware of the wildlife on the island from monkeys, large lizards, mosquitos and scorpians. Which ever route you take you should set out prepared with water and a first aid kit.
This was fun and very very dangerous! Thankfully you both are safe and also the equipment was recovered...adventure is fun but it should not be dangerous! All the best!
There aren’t a lot of beaches that are easily accessible on this island. The one we rented the kayaks from was one of the main beaches. It was just across from where everyone gets dropped off coming to the island.
Well done guys, glad you found your go pro 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 could you please give us directions to find the place where you rent the kayak from? Greetings from Ibiza Island ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
The kayak rentals are super easy to find. There are multiple locations you can rent from and you’ll find signs all over 🪧. Also, we would LOVE to visit Ibiza one day!
Very nice and comprehensive introduction on PP and kayaking. Do take care when you go into the water, even swimming around the shores, Always good to know the tides. It could have been even more dangerous if your kayak was pulling pull out to the open seas if the tide was receding.
You guys are fun and adventurous. Glad to see you both enjoying yourselves on the beautiful paradise like island. But you are inexperienced. When I saw you both going out on the kayaks without any life vests on, my heart began pumping hard. What if the waters get real rough with strong waves and flip the kayaks over when you are far out and out of sight?? The waters look beautiful but can be dangerous. Luckily for you the accident and damage was limited. Real out to sea kayaking or canoeing need training that include survival training. The operator should provide the life vests and rightly the canoeing should be restricted to within the bay unless you are experienced. Thank god you are safe. There are two paths up to the viewpoint. The one you both took is very long and tiring. The other is steeper but way shorter and the preferred for most. Lastly monitor lizards however big and shy creatures which will run away from humans, not attack them. There has never been any incident where humans are harmed by them.
Looking back, life jackets should most definitely have been worn. We were also thankful that the damage was limited. We appreciate your concern and we definitely agree with everything in your comment 🙏🏽.
Wow that's awesome guys, we planning on going the Phi Phi as well. Trying to get hold of that Hotel you stayed at to make a reservation, but all booking sites state they no longer taking bookings for the Panmanee Hotel in Phi Phi. Do you perhaps have their email we could use to reserve a booking with?
They say we can't fly a drone there, can you please say some tips in which place and all you took drone shots and suggest some tips to flying drone there. I'll be visiting nxt week and I have dji air 2
We also have the DJI Air 2. We don’t really have any tips. We flew the drone without any problems. The only thing was that there was some signal interference when we were flying it.
Man you had me so scared there for a moment with the foreshadowing. Yes super dangerous with the waves n coral. Glad you made it back with only a few bumps n bruises 😬😯
It was a rookie mistake. We did not wait for the home point to update and we flew it behind a cliff, where it lost signal. You can see it in one of our Sri Lanka vlogs.
Awesome adventure and beautiful video shot guys. 😊👍 Next time please wear a life jacket and have a waterproof plastic bag to protect your phone/cam. Stay safe, stay blessed, and happy travel! 😘
Thank you so much, we quickly realized we should have worn life jackets. Also, they did give us a water proof bag, but we didn’t put all of our stuff in it because we were filming.
We wouldn’t recommend doing it. If you fall in the water by accident and don’t know how to swim, it is dangerous. It’s also an ocean so it is very deep.
What an adventure trip.. you were very lucky! I read somewhere that you can try to dry out a smartphone that fell into water by putting it into dry rice grains. Don't know if it is a hoax but worthwhile trying. Been to Phi Phi islands long time ago and OMG has it changed!! Stay safe...
We ended up finding the GoPro the next day 😊 We explained it a little bit at the end of the vlog. The guy who rented the kayaks helped us find the GoPro the next day.
Was there 33 years ago ,then it was beautiful almost no boats great snorkeling in a reef just 100 feet of the beach where a shark attacked my wife ,she servived thank god !! .Now it looks like a over run tourist trap.
Hi guys,I am going to this place in next month. Your guide was so good! and pretty helpful for me! I decided to visit same place where you visited. Except go to far away from a shore.. I luned a lot from your this video. Thank you!! Have a nice trip!!
(13:33) Wow! you two are ridicules sexy in swimwear and make such a lovely looking couple. Yep! The Phi Phi Islands in Thailand is stunning beautiful. Love (Attila and Zae) channel
Whatever. Capitalism is everywhere. If you don’t support it then don’t go. I’ve been around the world and McDonald’s Pizza Hut etc has been everywhere since the late 80s. Just don’t give them your money and support local.
Ummm … did you find the set of stairs after your climb ? There is a much easier way to the view points. We did the long hike up like you the first time 😂😂🤦🏻♂️

out of many dozen of Phuket videos, this one is by far the most exciting - just like a good quality documentary. thank you for your efforts

Great video...hope to be visiting Phi Phi island in January 2023 so this was really helpful!
Hey Paul, we’re happy to hear that you found the video helpful! We think you’re going to love Phi Phi. Have an amazing trip 😊

*Dear favorite couple, thank you so so much for sharing the Phi phi viewpoint. Not a single vlogger to my knowledge shared this before.*
Wow, thank you so much! We’re glad to be of service! ♥️😊
i had been there twice! It is beautiful!
Absolutely, we love Thailand, and are looking forward to going back in the future 😊
Wow so beautiful beaches. Thank you for sharing and showing us around. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The beaches are absolutely pristine. We loved this island 🏝!
That was so lucky! I always see titles about ppl losing their gopro, but you actually found yours again, phew ~
We got so lucky!!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. I love this island.
Thank you for watching it 🙏🏽 😊
@@AttilaAndZae Thanks for d video. I honestly think koh phi phi was more beautiful in 1999 but it still has its charm. 🙂
It was most likely more beautiful before all the tourists came along. It's hard to find places in the world that are untouched by tourists.
@@AttilaAndZae True indeed. It's good that beautiful places r developed for tourists, but it should be in an orderly manner. 🙂

Hey, wonderful vlog 😲, we are going to phi phi soon. Thanks for the info
No problem guys! Enjoy your trip 😊
what is the beach name where you were able to rent kayak? 14:20
There aren’t a lot of beaches that are easily accessible on this island. The one we rented the kayaks from was one of the main beaches. It was just across from where everyone gets dropped off coming to the island.
Watching your amazing walking tour video at Phi Phi Island. Wish you have a wonderful day and more success 🙏😊. Greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩

Great video! Did you have to get a license to use your drone on the islands?
We have a small drone, so there was no need for a licence.
@@AttilaAndZae Thanks for the fast reply! I have a DJI Mini 3 so was hoping for this answer!
Do you suggest doing some tours in Phi Phi or can you just kayak to all the islands that tours go to?
We would definitely not recommend kayaking the islands cause they’re too far. It’s best to take a tour.
Glad you find your GoPro back ❤️
We were so happy to find it!! 😊
Tom Hanks in Castaway has nothing on you two. Those waves are huge. Glad you found your Go Pro.
We couldn’t believe that we found it. We still tell everyone that story to this day.

Thank you, we learned a lot from this experience and will be safer in the future!
is it even possible for tide to pull kayak? shouldnt the paddles have enough force to counteract it
what's the song used around 2:30? I can't even shazam it :/
We use non-copyright music from a website called Soundstripe, that’s probably why you’re not able to find the song.
@@AttilaAndZae Oh I see. So what's that song in particular called then?

Highly recommend
Did you reach phi phi from Phuket or krabi? Do the ferry have provision to keep luggage?
Question - the video starts w “we took a 2 hour ferry” but where did you take the ferry from?
Glad both of you are okay. Keep up the amazing work on here.

What a tiny designated area for swimming.
Yes, most people go to other islands on tours, there are a lot more beaches!
I took that same route to the view point by following google maps, i was attacked by mosquitos so i turned back.

Wear a life jacket. Safety first. In malaysia, it is a must(regulation)
We realized that we made a mistake by not wearing one. Now we know better!
This hotel charge 2500 bht a night
Anybody who went to Phi Phi Pre Tsunami will be shocked and disgusted at what has happened to this Island. It used to be awesome. Mc Donalds.....WTF.

If there is one thing I’m afraid of, it’s a monitor lizard 😱
Yeah, that’s what we saw … It was massive!
It's not peaceful at night at all, extremely loud party music every night from 8 pm till 2-3 am, I stayed 5 nights, wasn't able to sleep at all.
