Thanks for watching guys, this video had to be made to give you guys the background and tell my story. Next episode will be way more business oriented so make sure to get pens and paper for note taking! Major knowledge bombs to be dropped.
Thanks for telling us how to get started. I'm a teenager and fitness has always been the one thing I'm good at. I want to use my strength for good by starting my own small gym business with a program that I'm developing myself. Are there any tips you can give me to kick start my plan? Your input would be legendary. Thanks in advance.
I grew up in PA and relate to so much of your story that I find it a bit suprising. Training is definitely my 'medicine' and always will be. Staying tuned for more.
I have to say, hearing your story and what you had to deal with is very inspiring and is further propelling my drive to open up my own gym. Thanks for sharing.
We’ve picked up so much weight equipment during quarantine that were seriously considering starting a gym once this completely settles! Just now starting your videos, hopefully we learn something!
Good job man...few realize how much effort it takes to start a business...I’m over a decade in it gets better...don’t miss all the effort for no pay...but the interest years in makes up for it
I had heard you talk about your story on other videos briefly but never listened to this in depth. This really resonates with me. The end about why you do it is eerily similar to mine at the end. I admire you, dude. 2 and 3 next on the list.
I love your story man, I'm 20 and I'm looking to open a gym. Right now I'm just working full time making good money and my fiancè and I'm a little tight on money. I'm try to move up and make a little more money and plan on taking a few buisness classes for the knowledge and I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track. Hearing this story is really motivating. Also I subscribed and I'm going to watch the rest xd been watching the video on my work breaks. Excited to watch the rest!
Found your channel two days ago and I absolutely love it..Real valuable information here☑️💯thank you . You're a life saver thank you don't know how to thank you ..This was relatable I'm on my way to starting
South Jersey here. Not too many people anywhere else can understand the dedication needed to cut out wawa hoagies. I cut it out completely a year ago and never made more gains in my life
hey man. i just saw your vid on omars channel. good job i liked it and im very interested in trying to build my legs. is their a specific training program you do? so i can jump in it. cause im not sure what exercies to do or if i go heavy or light. high rep or low rep. and what certain exercise should i do. i dont wanna do the same exercises 3 days a week and then injure myself
Man, that second landlord sounds like a jerk. Good on you for staying strong tho, keep it up! Working hard always pays off at the end of the day, so you deserve everything you have and more!
Hey Joey, Great background story! I'm curious, when you were moving into your first retail space and you were ordering all that equipment from Rogue, did you pay for everything out of pocket? Did you get a business loan? How did you manage moving from a garage gym to a retail space? Is this some of the stuff your going to be covering in your upcoming videos?
Been wanting to open a business but not sure exactly but I’ve always been interested in wanting to open a gym that’s chill and cool inclusive to trans people 👍
Great video series. I happened to find this after having decided to open my own strength training gym, and searching "how to start a gym?" I watched all three videos in the series and found them very informative. They also inspired me to take your advice and to document the process, so I made my first video ruclips.net/video/i4CNFHm1N9s/видео.html as a means of taking action and holding myself accountable. Thank you for all the content, inspiration and motivation that you put out. I know I am crazy for wanting to start a gym during covid, but that is exactly why I will succeed because I am crazy.
Bro that’s crazy you’re the man ,a huge hug to your friends those words means everything bro

Not trying to be negative, but I wanted to learn how to run a gym/start my own business. I wasn't intrested in hearing your personal testimony.
