This is such a cool concept, I'd love to see a mod create a combat mount class

Yeah but it's a summoner subclass, right? Because I hate it when people say that they should bring back thrower, its much better and makes much more sense as a ranger subclass.

This could easily go onto a modpack, would be even cooler if they could "collab" with the other mods like Starlight River and Thorium to make mounts for those mods
I'd enjoy it if it came as a standalone, along with being part of modpacks. That way, you can choose to have a modpack with it, or you add it to a modlist that doesn't have the other mods of the modpack attached.
@@raspiankiado pretty sure they meant that the mod could work like Fargo's DLC where certain content is available based on the mods you have active. For example you'll have a Thorium mount you can get which drops from a Thorium enemy or crafted with Thorium items. it would still be standalone but would be compatible with the big mods

Cool thing about the stardust mount is the more summon slots you have when you mount the more miny hummingbirds spawn and attack enemies
Heads up for the final mount, the charge is indicated by the spikes on it's back turning blue starting from the head. Additionall only the spines that are charged reflect things.
They must've updated the mod because the spider mount looks less creepy than it used to. I remember when I first got it and it triggered what little arachnophobia I had.
Id also love to see a mount using all 4 of the pillar abilities combined eg guns dashing summons etc
If you guys use this mod, i recommend go fishing for azure crates as soon as you get to hardmode, you can get the 2 basic wyverns from them and they have infinite fly time. Also, white vynerm +8% def, orange wyvern +8% atk.

6:24 yep, wyverns have 2 legs, as there wings hold the claws for the front limbs, the wyverns that we see in game are more akin to longs (Chinese dragons)
You can hold left click in order to attack with the orb, once the orb returns to you it will charge the dragon also idk if the dev changed it but the dragon used to have a double down ability that would just cause a lightning shower wherever your mouse was pointed.
The spider was cute as hell tbh
In earlier updates you could charge your dragon (the weather ball one) by throwing the ball its carrying, and you could hold down the right click to keep firing thunder which is why I liked it. Sadly it is now just a single thunderbolt
This is a dope mod to have on the background while doing a playthrough.
I'd love yo see someone make a summoner overhaul were the summons are like mounts were they dont just slam into stuff they could have like 3 diffrent moves that they cycle through.
If the last mount can be dyed with sky blue or blue+white dye, we'll get Kaido!

For some reason that giant flying snake just feels so natural, like if terraria had post Moonlord content I could easily see that as an enemy spawning in the jungle
The dragons are indeed a cool concept, and I would love for Red to add this feature.
The mount class, you have weapons that when used you equip said mount and right click changes the mount
If I’m right, summoner armor and accessories that affect summon damage also affect mounts, so mount only could be a actual thing
I'd enjoy combat mounts as a summoner subclass.
with this i would feel like the summoner class would be one of the best, it wouldn't even need the whips

That first flower one is a nohitters wet dream. Fast, unrestricted movement that is incredibly snappy, and the area is quite large
If you look at the dragon's spikes, they have a white outline to signify which parts are charged!
Ayo i just realised that you can see the backspikes of the Chinese dragon glow blue, indicating how much charge it has! Very cool

THREE THINGS HE MISSED: the charge for mythical red is indicated on the sprite itself, and it takes longer to shoot but deals more damage for every charge you have. Second thing: if there are ANY WALLS within the spiders reach, it can climb on them, it sadly cannot climb on background walls or roof's however, but this means you could go on the side of a flat surface. Finally for the stardust hummingbird, the little hummingbirds that swarm it will attack your foes, and the more free summon slots you have, the more birds there are.

Mounts feel like wasted potential in terraria. They’re really more of a gimmick than anything. Most mounts are useless and the good ones are all just used for infinite flight. More mounts with attacks, movement options, or unique buffs would be very cool.
That's honestly a majority of Terraria features, they're a couple steps away from being something amazing.

I gotta say. I'm arachnophobic, and yes, that spider mount is about the most horrible-looking kind of spider to me... but I don't give a damn, I WANT that spider mount. I mean, if the giant creepy disgusting monster works for me, I'm more scared for my enemies than I am for myself!

it physicaly hurts to watch him miss a feature with the final dragon, the orb follows your cursor when left clicking. i may be wrong as it may have been removed but it still hurt
