These books saved my sanity. When I first picked up Twilight, I was in the hospital for a month and then grieving for a stillborn baby, and all I had to distract me were these novels. People like to make fun of the novels, or make fun of the people who read them, but I don't care one bit. When a book can help you escape trauma, you know there's something special about it. I wish I could thank Stephenie Meyer personally for writing something so alluring and fantastical, one can get lost in it for a while.
I definitely agree, currently trying to heal from years of awful emotional/psychological abuse and the healing process is just very very hard. Of course I go to therapy but I recently started to re-read the Harry Potter series and its definitely helped me keep my mind busy and stop from overthinking, being anxious, and allowing my depression to kick in. So im glad reading good books have helped you also. ❤❤
Agree. I love to read, but rarely get taken in. I devoured this series (as an adult) and couldn't put them down. Never has a book done that to me....well, besides the Bible. Like all novels, the book was SO MUCH BETTER then the movie. They did ok though. No way you can put a while book into a movie. So wish she completed MIDNIGHT SUN...it reveals Edward's true person and struggle.

I'm personally so HAPPY that the movie ended with the big fight scene. The commentator was right, the ending in the book was so boring and anticlimactic for everything we went through reading the books. I'm also glad they ended it by making it a mind game. I think that was the best movie ending ever of any movie ending.
