Bought this U2 a few weeks ago. It has audible, clicky buttons and they don't respond while the remote is in sleep/low-power mode. You gotta pick it up or disturb it first. Example: if I'm watching TV with the remote just sitting on the sofa or table, and I reach over to press the Mute button, nothing will happen. Once I pick it up and try again it'll then Mute (since it's now "awake"). This became annoying after a couple weeks. Back to my busted old worn out Harmony that still sounds and feels better. *sigh*
You are absolutely correct. That feature though can be an inconvenience it's a power-saving option to save the battery life. There is also no option in the settings area, I will be sure to let them know so that can maybe update the app with a sleep timer option. Thanks for raising that.
Sorry to say this but this is like a excuse to me , after all we pick up every remote and do whatever right? How click the remote on the same possession seating? It's little to odd for me!!!!

Decent remote. I have been using this one. This remote needs to have line-of-sight, so it will not work for someone that likes to hide things away. I had to move my DTV box and Roku to a different location in order for the remote to find them. Overall, works fairly well, I would give it a 7/10.

You didn't disappoint, I REALLY wanted you to try making a custom setting for Air conditioner, then learn the IR 😁😁Now you can turn the TV & AC at the same time with one remote 😋, I also like they used clicking aluminum pads, they last longer maintenance wise!
The price is... It would've been better to make it rechargeable for that price via USB or something.

Hey great video as always. I have a question for you. My dad is looking for an affordable android tv box that has a nagivation bar and needs to have 32gb or 64gb. We tried some boxes with the alternative navigation bar but most of them dont support the " recent apps" or apps in the background. He really wants to have that. Do you have any in mind you can recommend? Tox3 seemed like a nice option but i cannot get it to my country
Sorry, you can't get the TOX3, your next option is Ugoos. The latest Ugoos 64-bit Android box is on its way it's already been shipped, and you can wait to see what has to offer, or you can choose their S905X4 model which is the Ugoos X4Q Pro. Any one of Ugoos's models will have navigation bar and status bar.
Doesn't work thru cabinets. Major flaw with so many homes these days having hidden receivers and wires.

Yes absolutely, but be mindful that the stock remote must be in working condition so that you can learn the keys.
I have this remote, stopped using it because it makes an audible click sound when zapping, deal breaker for me, too bad because it does everything else great.

The Logitech Harmony series was and still is, IMO, some of the most overpriced tech I have seen in comparison with what a product can do. So I spent some time looking at alternatives and had looked at this one. There was a general consensus that it eats batteries and the IR beam range was very narrow and annoying, both of which were often stated as deal breakers. I guess if you have clear line of sight over a shorter distance then one aspect may not be such an issue. But I passed on it myself, despite other functions being of good use Those buttons have a really loud click, which could be annoying for some, even though the chances of continually using something like this for more than a few seconds at a time probably offsets concerns.

no air mouse, no sale, this isnt offering anything new really for android TV users, air mouse is required for some none android TV supported apps you need to sideload.

What other options. I've been looking for a universal remote that will work with all my equipment and I haven't found anything except the other sofabaton remotes and the Logitech remote. The other universal remotes are mostly for one or two devices.

Options like I could buy 15 or more 6 axis remotes for the price of that ONE remote...
One could argue that it lacks Air-mouse and rechargeable batteries, but the price I don't agree is "crazy high" as you described it. With such a large database of remote presets, plus the ability to store up to 15 remotes I think it's worth the price. And remember you are getting 10% off.
