    Yesterday I wore a Swiss watch on bracelet under 40mm 100 percent of the time. Beyond that I do not remember.

    Awesome video, glad that you have been thoroughly enjoying your Ceramic Seamaster. My most watch of the year was my Omega Aqua Terra 2518.50 on a fine mesh Milanese bracelet. Comfortable and I’m able to adjust the size whenever needed without too much fuss. Happy New Year to you.

    Another top video TWI. Some great stats as well. Oddly my most worn watches of 2023 were from Casio, My F-91W (everyday wear watch) won due to tasks that I was involved in more recently where I didn't want to risk damage or loss of an analog watch. This was followed by my G-Shock 5610 I wore for medical appointments and surgeries of which there have been a few. Looking at my mechanical watches it's a tie between Longines and Tudor followed closely by Oris then Omega. I wish you a happy new year. Have a great one.

      Thanks as always Anthony! And thanks for sharing your watch breakdown thats a very diverse set of watches to have on the wrist year round! I really need to get myself an f91w just to try out such an iconic watch and i think I can make the current amazon price of $9.94 work for me 😂
      I'm pretty sure your most worn Tudor was the Pelagos, and Omega was the white dial SMP, but which watches were the Longines and Oris? I might recall you mentioning an Aquis? All the best to you and your family (and hopefully this year brings fewer surgeries for you as well 😁)

    I was looking forward to seeing all those wrist time analytics! I said I was going to start doing wrist shots starting tomorrow!
    It's definitely interesting to see that "42mm" watches got so much wrist time bc if I had to Guess I would have given it a much smaller number. My most worn watch was my trusty speedmaster, can't go wrong with it!

    • @thewatchidiot
      @thewatchidiot  9 месяцев назад

      Glad youre enjoying all the numbers as much as me, i get so excited to look through the numbers at the end of the year! Yes go for it and at the start i used to have a calendar reminder to help me remember to take a wrist shot each day. Now its muscle memory (most days lol).
      Yeah I absolutley was not expecting to see 42mm watche feature so much other than the SMP and the Pelagos and actually i'm now curious to see what it was in the previous years. I need to wear my speedy more often, maybe 2024 can be the year of the chronograph for me!

    What an amazing video 😂! Don’t know anybody with such a detailed data on a watch collection and wearing time, well done👍. My most worn watch in 2023 is my Tudor Pelagos LHD followed by the Tudor BB Pro and a Breitling Superocean Heritage 38mm. Happy new year, buddy 🥳

    Mine was the zodiac Sea-Chron. A late arrival but I picked it up about 3 months ago and pretty much haven't taken it off since. I've also only adjusted the time once that I can recall and it's still accurate to within a minute! Never had a mechanical watch that accurate.

      Yeah I've been taking a wrist shot everyday for the last 6 years! I can then count up all the watches and see the numbers from there. That's an awesome trio, I had the black Traska venturer GMT earlier this year before selling it but I now want to rebuy it!

    This was a great video. I really enjoyed the analytics. It's cool to see a breakdown of the different aspects of wearing our watches. I don't know which watch I wore the most because it was my first year really buying watches and I went overboard on budget watches buying like 27 new watches. I was constantly having a new watch come in to wear. Next year I only plan to buy one AliExpress watch and one Brand name watch. I will be able to see what watch I wear the most then. Its a good idea to take a picture every day to keep up with it. Well this comment was longer than I intended. Happy New Year and thank you for your videos.

    • @thewatchidiot
      @thewatchidiot  9 месяцев назад +1

      Glad to hear you enjoyed the video and the analytics! I had a very similar experience as you, and I had a spending spree in 2018 and got 18 watches and there was a constant cycle of incoming watches. It was definitely fun but eventually i decided to slow things down just bc i felt like i wasnt enjoying all the awesome watches I owned, but rather i was enjoying the rush of a new watch.
      I ended up selling a bunch of watches and I started to truly wear my watches (and still buying some lol) BUT I have no regrets about getting so many watches in one go bc I was able to learn so much by experiencing so many different watches! I was able to determine what sorts of watches I really like and which ones I like but not enough to own. 2018 was also the first year I started keeping track of my wrist time numbers so seeing the numbers laid out helped provide clarity as well. All the best as we go into 2024!

    • @deanP.
      @deanP. 9 месяцев назад

      @@thewatchidiot Thanks so much for your reply. I feel the same about wanting to enjoy my watches more instead of the rush of a new watch. That is why I am trying to limit my purchases next year. You are right about the learning process this year has been. Next year I Probably need to learn about selling some watches (I have never done that before). I do want to reduce the number of watches I have so I can really enjoy wearing the ones I like best and don’t feel pressured to wear the ones just sitting in the box. All the best to you and your as well.
