I lost my partition by running factory rest accidentally, full scan finds the partition but I could not select it from the check box, (software does not let me to select) eventually proceed button also doesn't work. This program was seriously a lifesaver, I deleted the partition on my external backup disk.
it found it no problem and everything was restored in approx 2 minutes, for a 2 TB usb 2.0 drive with 1 partition
I have a HDD that came out of a WD20000-H1NC-00 networked drive. The drive wouldn't show up on my network, so I took it out of the case and connected it to my computer using a SATA to USB external powered adapter. In Windows XP it shows the drive as a 668 MB CD Drive (healthy) - in Windows 7 it shows the complete drive as being unallocated. I am using the program on my XP machine cause it's a desktop and I can leave it running for a day if needed vs. my laptop. When I choose the drive and doing a full scan it's stuck on 0% scan process. It's a 1 TB drive (930.86 GB total actual space). Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi MrFixit, I had a fried SSD and replaced it. The partition assistant shows me my missing drive but it is no longer allocated a letter (it used to be F:) and I cannot access it in My Computer - do you have any tips?

I deleted the partition and reformatted the hard drive. This software didn't find anything. This is an external drive and I have done nothing with the drive since the accidental formatting. Any ideas ?? I'm going to try Stellar Phoenix Data Recovery and see if that works.
What if my usb says unformatted instead of Unallocated? Should I format it first? Im afraid it will not recover my data :(
I have problems with a SD card (where I stored photos). One day it suddenly jumped from the FAT32 file system to RAW and I cannot convert it back to FAT32!!!!

hi, i just reformat my sony laptop, i have 1 hard drive size of 320gb, before reformat, i hv 2 partion, C and D.. i put my backup data at drive D. after reformat complete, drive C become 280gb, D drive is gone. normally when perform windows reformatting, only drive C will reformat, this time my D drive is completely gone, do hv any ideas to solved this problem. sorry for my bad English, tq in advance.

my hdd couldnt boot up my os cause after rebooting it suddenly got write protected and it wouldnt reinstall my OS.
so i used win 8 installation CMD to "clean" the Hdd it wiped out all the partitions and put it back to 1. Then i ran some data recovery wizards but my files and movies were corrupted. it only got a txt file back which contained the names of what anime i watched

Hello today i tried to remove write protection of usb stick, watch a video on youtube step by step in CMD diskpart stuff , i accidently careless and pick disk list 1 which is my external 1tb hard drive is now gone, and for me to use that external hd again i have to format it but i dont want to do nething stupid (which i already did geez), but my question is, does ur method in this video will do the same to my problem? btw i did try to restore system to a day b4, but no luck..THANK YOU SO MUCH

I accidentally deleted my Volume. I saw this video and tried the software and I now have my partition back.
Wow, This program is really good, but i´m having a problem, my pc actually has 400 gb unlocated, and 100gb free in 1 partition, and the partition that i´m trying to restore has 420gb so it has enough space, but the other partition is in the middle, so when i try to select both partitions, the one that has windows, and the one that im trrying to restore i can´t, it says is overlapped, so what should i do? reformat to create the correct space for both partitions? or there is a way to restore only a few folders from lost partition, help me please.
BTW, it doesn´t let me reduce windows partition.
