👋👋 QUESTION: With Wharton offering an online MBA option (although at the same price point as their full-time program), is this a program you might now be considering if you hadn't before? What do you think of their approach? Let me know in the comments below! 👇👇
I think it is a great addition to the space but I wouldn't pay full price for it online. I feel much I'm getting a much better option at UIUC mostly thanks to you!
I found a free coursera certificate program they’re offering that seems to be fully online. The ad says 2 hours per week for 5 months. I’m currently a student at Baker where online Bachelor degree courses are 6 hours per weekday, 12+ hours per weekend, and 5-8 weeks long. I’m hoping that I can take my experience at Baker to grind through a Wharton Coursera (fully online) course in less time. If it’s less stressful, I might continue doing cert courses there along with my Baker courses to supplement my resume til I graduate. My full time job pays for my college tuition. I like free classes and I’m trying to take as many of _those_ as I can that might help me get a better position _before_ I graduate.
Institutions offering online graduate programs will become the new norm. I work about a block away from Wharton School of Business in Philly & that school is too expensive for me
Hi Martin - certainly seems to be going in that direction! Hope it also means that schools eventually lower their tuition to compete with all these new offerings.
Sounds to be about the same price as their full-time program. It's a common pricing model for alot of higher ranked MBA programs that happen to have online offerings.
@@WiseTreee I would say you need to invest somewhat improperly and have some luck to turn $200,000 into $1,000,000 soon, but not sure what you mean by soon.
Hi Tory - I'm in favor of it. It's a good option! Though not specific to MBAs, I did an overview of WGU here in this video you can check out: ruclips.net/video/bs89biIGktk/видео.html
@@RichardWalls funny enough that u mention this video. After watching it, I realized I watched it last year when I recommend it for my room for his undergrad. At the time I was not subscribed. I came full circle to your channel looking as I was looking for my own MBA 🤣. Thanks for sharing and great channel! P.S. I am subscribed now
Curriculum tends to generally be the same regardless, and you get an MBA degree at the end of it. The distinctions universities make are to better market to different segments or to indicate a different delivery of the content, but the outcome is the same in that you get an MBA degree.
Hi Mekk - won't really find many options at that price range. I have some other videos on my channel with affordable options, but under $10K there's really not many.
I have a question. If one already received their bachelor's in business from a prestigious program (top 2) and is in their industry of choice (big tech), is it still worth it to get a name brand degree at that price? Will employers look down on it or will it be harder to advance if one instead got their mba at a more affordable online rate (e.g. BU online)?
Depends on the industry. Tech? No one gives a fuck. MBB consulting? Yes. Investment banking? Absolutely you won’t even get hired. Big 4 consulting? Kind of.
Hi - unfortunately I don't have much experience when it comes to scholarships apart from knowing that there are alot of options out there. There are also tuition reimbursement programs that some companies offer to help pay for college, which is the route I went.

Still no. The cost is still prohibitive.

@@RichardWalls I believe some schools will. The school I am going to now, Eastern University, offers a fully-online MBA program for $9,900.00.
Hi Richard, what are your opinions on West Texas A&M online MBA program ? Its under 20k, AACSB accredited, and ranked on a lot of websites
That has popped up on my radar a few times in my research. I think it's a good option!
It looks like Tulane is also offering their MBA program online for the first time. What are your thoughts on this program?
I spoke with USC who has a mostly online accelerated MBA program and they want around 120K
Sounds to be about the same price as their full-time program. It's a common pricing model for alot of higher ranked MBA programs that happen to have online offerings.
$200k+ 🤦🏻♂️
If I invest 200K properly, I will be millionaire soon.

How do you feel about wgu mba program?

This is highly misleading. It’s only their executive MBA that is online, not the regular full time program.

Can you please help sharing a good ranked online MBA that has some live sessions not only recorded video and with a tuition fee less than 10K?
Hi Mekk - won't really find many options at that price range. I have some other videos on my channel with affordable options, but under $10K there's really not many.
There are sub 25k options. Particularly UIUC and BU.
UIUC isn’t ranked, but it’s on purpose. I’d do your research and come to your own conclusion about it.
Could you get US work visa when you are doing this online MBA in Wharton?
no
Hi Richard, thoughts on Lamar University in line mba program for $16000?

Thank you so much for this video. Very instructive.
Excellent content, ill sell the house for the online experience...
😆
Very instructive
Informative.
great school
220k
I'm done
That's not the real price you pay, they always give at least 50% scholarships
still 110k
Buy an estate for 200k and earn income from the rise of its price.
Invest 200k in reputable mutual funds … and you will be millionaire in 7 years…
@@WiseTreee Based on the last 100 years, your estimate is way off. You need to hope things go like they have over the last seven years.
Estates are going to fall within a few years.
Omg 😢
