@BaileyEssrogable Yup. Morgans been doing a lot of the piano work on this tour as Mat's stuck on top of his pillar a lot of the time!! Works well with the lasers!! LOVE IT!!
my hotel was on the other side of the road to this, i could see it from my window... came all the way from the uk and these were in the same city but they sold out when i asked for tickets :( i did get to have a tour of the garden though and saw it all being set up, and stood outside a room whilst muse were getting interviewd :D
Loved this concert! So happy they played this song. Epic solo. Great lasers. I still haven't gotten my voice back though. I was in the crowd right in front of chris xD Sad about him not playing the piano though, I love that part....
The eyeballs were epic as was the rest of the song... and the entire concert. I was singing along the whole concert, and occasionally laughing a bit because my friend didn't know the lyrics. xD
@TheFrontman55 The guy playing the piano intro is Morgan, he tours around with Muse and helps with the sounds. And I cannot believe Matt doesn't play the intro anymore... it's not right :(
@BaileyEssrogable morgan was definitely playing the piano. I had seats behind the towers for the show in oakland and had a clear view of morgan playing this
Everyone is mentioning the fact that Matt didn't play piano on the song, what about that solo!? Hands down the best solo I've heard him play for the song!
@cillianc09 I'm pretty sure Morgan's playing the piano part. Matt could still play it, but then they'd have to change up the production which wasn't going to happen anytime soon -- at least on this past leg of the U.S. tour.
I was there! I saw them in Boston the very next night, but this show was better.... and by better, I mean F*CKING EPIC. 1:38 sums it up. I also love how he takes off sliding into the darkness at 1:54! SO badass!!! For a split second I was worried he might have fallen off the stage! = P But then, I also expect him to levitate above the crowd while playing his face-melting solos!
yeah bummed he skipped out on the piano in Atlanta, but he made up for it by playing Feeling Good with a bit of improv at the beginning Awesome video btw
I agree that their set lists should be more varied, but I don't see why Matt not playing the piano for a 1 minute portion of a song is a huge deal in the grand scheme of the entire show. Just because old Muse shows didn't have such a crazy stage set up doesn't mean they didn't want one. Their vision could have been to go nuts with lasers from the start. Complaining about their setlists is much more pertinant than about Matt not playing 1 minute-worth of piano.
There is a certain point where you get a holy feeling seeing this laser show as an atheist. A church of feeling in synaesthetic light and music. Saw Muse in 2012 live in Munich and am completely lost.
Man why are people so pissed that matt doesnt play the newborn piano in the beginning very often anymore? Big whoop. Sure it'd be nice if he did, but he's singing, there's plenty of lights to keep you entertained, and there's an insane amount of rock n roll carnage about to ensue over a minute into the song. I saw them on 2 US arena shows in 2010 and during this part I wasn't complaining that he didn't play the piano. I was too busy being mindfucked by everything else.
@BaileyEssrogable The sad thing is they still used Morgan or playback or whatever at the stadium shows, where Matt could have easily played it... Oh well, he's back playing it now :D
Listen to bliss live at reading 06 then live at reading 11. Especially during the falsetto bit before the last chorus. Matt's voice is obviously losing it a little when he attempts really high notes. I think his voice is just maturing. I'd change some notes too instead of attempting notes that will just sound bad. Same with feeling good. Matt's simply getting older, and while I like the tone of his voice better now, it was definately more powerful in previous years.
by far my favourite ever live song
the drones tour was super amazing but this tour and these visuals were unreal!! this was my first concert ever!
Still loving this video in 2019 (July)
never forgetting this concert ever, talk about it every damn day of my life and still will
simply one of the best music videos on RUclips.
@ 6.00 you can see the lazers follows his pinch harmonics, friggin awesome!!!!
They are amazing! When I saw them live, it was the best day of my life!
I was there!! One of the best things I've ever seen, ever! Muse are incredible dude!
this was my first concert ever, i looovvvvveeeddd it
these lads can put on one hell of a show

yeah same here... muse is the best live band in the world!!!
best concert EVER!!
i was there at the garden!!! they put on a show!

i too would have liked matt to be on the piano but considering their stage layout it was pretty much impossible. still rocked the house!
The eyeballs were epic as was the rest of the song... and the entire concert. I was singing along the whole concert, and occasionally laughing a bit because my friend didn't know the lyrics. xD

hey this is like in houston
THAT WAS AWESOME
Everyone is mentioning the fact that Matt didn't play piano on the song, what about that solo!? Hands down the best solo I've heard him play for the song!
"YEAHHHH MUSEEEEE"
I love doing that lol.

awesome lasers
COOL!
I was there!!!!!!
@Dolphinhi2 me too, and at this venue too!
rofl @ "GOOD EVENING NEW YAWK CITAAAAAAAY"
Living legend.
@cillianc09 It's Morgan playing the piano part.
What the hell is his voice at the end? BRB CRYING/DYING
how can only 102 people like this?!
Do you think their promoting laser eye surgery?
same here
@cillianc09 I'm pretty sure Morgan's playing the piano part. Matt could still play it, but then they'd have to change up the production which wasn't going to happen anytime soon -- at least on this past leg of the U.S. tour.

@LuckyMe90 haha, that happens so much when I'm watching muse videos
it was still amazing though. :P

the props is fucking cool
this was fucking amazing, stop fighting, stop complaining and enjoy the mother-fucking show!
I saw Muse at Leeds in 2011 and would have traded him playing the New Born intro for the frankly mind blowing solo here
@franksters08 Muse is absolutely immense. It may hurt a little...
They might melt your face off.
It's not a Tower, its just an elevated platform, basically a prop.
pretty sweet concert to go to being your first. lol
I KNOW :/
He didn't play it on the piano in Montreal either :(
shame.
I was looking forward to see him play it but oh well.
There is a certain point where you get a holy feeling seeing this laser show as an atheist. A church of feeling in synaesthetic light and music. Saw Muse in 2012 live in Munich and am completely lost.
@BaileyEssrogable Yeah, you could see him up there, above the 3 pillars, if you were there =3
Man why are people so pissed that matt doesnt play the newborn piano in the beginning very often anymore? Big whoop. @pkbball31 it sounds, but actually that was very clean guitar screech. :D
beasts
@franksters08 when I went, i came back without a face. it literally rocked my face off
Don't worry, the lasers aren't overdone. They're just making sure the astronauts in orbit can enjoy their performance too.
Love how Matt slides and disappears in 1:55 =]
Lol when I went, the lazers were effin up my camera and making it blurry quality. I hated that bit.
We.Need.More.Lasers.More.Lasers.Now.
tell me about it. possibly the best night of my life turned to my worst in seconds. i'm torturing myself by watching these videos haha.
@BaileyEssrogable The sad thing is they still used Morgan or playback or whatever at the stadium shows, where Matt could have easily played it... Oh well, he's back playing it now :D
hey bailey what section, row, seat were you sitting in? this is a great view.
@BigMexico993
Tell me about it. Any more lasers and we would've been beamed up, Scottie.
what the heck did matt say at the end?
that is just an absurd amount of lasers
Yo! its all dawg :)
@cillianc09 dude..they never do playback...for all musicians..thats one thing they really hate. im sure morgan is doing all the necessary stuffs
Definitely not playback. at 0:44, theres the high D to C that Matt would usually play live that is NOT on the album.
wish i made it to this. fucking got arrested for open container on the train ride there along with 3 of my friends.
Is it just me or do they seem to play all the new songs slower than original? XD
maybe it's just me but at the concert i thought matt was screaming at 2:08 lol
@BaileyEssrogable oh dear

I want Muse to take my concert virginity..... I never been to a concert :(
why the hell I wasn't I there? lol
Nope. Not nearly enough lasers. Do it over guys.
5:16 wally begins clapping cause he thinks it's the end of the song!
RIP headphone users *_*
epileptic seizure
im a little sad matt wasn't playing piano
shame. matt didnt play it AGAIN at piano. :/
I hate it sooo much when people clap/sing off beat whenever I go to any live shows
Still isn't close to the lasers at Qlimax XD /watch?v=SQjtdRCrUyU
