  • ONEWHEEL PINT CRAFT and RIDE Burris All Terrain Treaded Tire Range / Speed Test. After one day with the new tire on we hit the road to test the speeds and range of the pint. I share new thoughts about the tire and it's ride. I also captured the app footage while riding so that you can follow along and see how I rode while testing the range/speed.

    I sold my pint for an XR but after seeing this video I wish I can ride my pint one more time. There’s something beautiful about feeling like a speed demon at 14mph and the nimbleness is what made the the most fun but I don’t miss that range anxiety

    Hey Scott- I notice you change out the sidekicks (and a lot of other accessories too) a lot on all your boards. I haven’t tried to take mine off but heard from others that at least in the XR with the new FM Sidekicks that they leave a ton of adhesive. Just curious if you’ve seen the same thing and what you use to remove, replace and clean adhesive, etc. any tips?

    • @ScotMendenhall
      @ScotMendenhall  3 года назад +1

      Yes the FM rail guards do leave some adhesive. I use a blow dryer to soften that up and rub it off. It is really easy to get it to come off that way. I have never had a issue with the rail guards from Onewheel coming off so I am ok with that adhesive. I hope that helps

    Hey Scott, just curious on what treaded tire you are using now that some time has passed. I also put around 600 miles on Hoosier treaded but found it severely reduced my range but LOVED the feel and response. Solved the range problem by getting the quart battery. I just switched to the Burris treaded and got some of that range back...some. I miss the feel of the Hoosier, especially the confidence when cornering off road. Did you switch back? Are you still riding the Burris?

      I think you're describing the correct way to do it. Keep your knees bent with your weight centered over the wheel, and push down with your lead foot. If you're leaning your entire body into the pushback then you're gonna eat it when the board quits on you. It's hard (impossible) to run out a nosedive when you've already got your center of gravity pushed way to the front of the board.
