Omg I do the same 😂 sometimes i combine them both. Eventhough I do not use a bonnet, it still works out fine. I just put a little oil in my hair in the morning to smooth the frizz, but the curls are still bouncy and not flattened. I will definitely try the dry shampoo in the evening!

So good! I been loving adding the dry shampoo at night…when I remember ☺️ otherwise the morning works great too. It’s nice to have less to do in the morning. Enjoy!

This might sound like a silly question but, I’ve never achieved this curly style so I’m not sure what it feels like/how it works: if you were to run your fingers through your curly hair, would it become frizzy?
Hopefully that makes sense. I’m trying to understand if it’s possible to have a curly hairstyle like this and not worry about not being able to touch or brush it.
My theory is that, if you have straight hair. You’re able to brush and take your fingers through it without it becoming a mess. So with curly hair, I understand that brushing with a brush or your fingers might make it less curly or separate curl clumps, however, will it make it frizzy and messy?

I think the video partly answered my question because I can see that in the styles with the clips, you’ve twisted your hair to put it into the clip.
Any time I’ve tried to create clips, twisting it ruins it completely and it becomes frizzy. So if seems that you’re able to twist it without this happening. On the contrary, it keeps the style.
So it seems that your curls can handle being put into different styles. I don’t know if I’d be able to do anything similar on my mixed race hair.
Thank you for your previous tips btw, I will be trying hover diffusing like you suggested.

Hi Jenny! Great question. I use gel to hold my curls & prevent frizz throughout the day. I mince the curls are set, I don’t brush it for run my fingers through them. But my hair is touchable and soft.

For sleeping hairstyles, I keep it loose to protect the curl shape. You can also choose to protect your hair with a bonnet or hair buff without any clips. 👍🏼 see this video for tips ruclips.net/video/gIAPOG21-ZQ/видео.html ♥️

@@TheCurlStory thank you so much for answering ❤ it definitely looks touchable and soft.
I think for me, I’m so used to touching my hair throughout the day simply to fix and neaten it. Especially if it’s been blow dried, I have a habit of twisting it to make it behave. So the idea of not having it curly and not being able to touch it or else I might ruin the curl, is stressful 😂
Also it gets frizzy throughout but especially at the top with lots of fly always and baby hairs, so I would definitely have to neaten that every morning which would make it hard to not touch the rest of it.
I think for me, a wavy style is the way to go because I won’t be as worried about breaking the curls and my hairs more wavy than curly. I’m trying to practice this with the diffuser like you said and it looks a lot better than when I attempt to blow dry it straight so I think I’m onto something 😁
Thank you so much for the answers and advice ❤

You know I was actually wandering if it would be easier to apply dry shampoo with our fingertips … do you think it could work out with those in spray as well?

Yes! I’ve tried with sprays as well. My favorite spray so far is by Wella - link in description
