Lots of people, including myself, have constant problems with G Hub. I've always used Logitech mice but now I need to look for another brand of mouse for GSE.
I have enjoyed your videos very much. I have learned so much and now appear halfway up the LFR damage meters as a low ilvl Ret Pal, previously I would be at the bottom. I just followed your Logitech spam key video and have successfully done this. What I don't understand, amongst many other things... is when using your GSE sequences and keybinds and talent imports, why if I spam the keybind [ or ] just as you have it, won't it interrupt the GSE sequence before it completes and prevent getting the best out of the rotation sequence. ?
@@oakensoul Oak, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I still don't understand - does using the spam key as outlined in your video actually interrupt the rotation sequence or not? I have it set at 240ms as you recommended.
@@kirglom6179 I am waiting on my keyboard to arrive to figure this out. I never tried it this way. I am just used to making the macro in GSE, Put it on button 1 and just spam the macro. LOL If I understand it correctly. That is what the 240ms is for. You spam the macro as normal? And that 240 helps in the actual rotation. (Times it as if you was doing the actual rotation.) I think now. I am not sure yet. lol
@@TwistedSMF 😊 If you have the Logitech keyboard and the hub its easy and slick to setup and works just as Oak showed in the video. I think what I am not understanding is how the macro works. Do you have to key press to progress through each step of the GSE macro? If that's the case having a spamming key configured to save the repetitive finger presses makes sense. I assumed, perhaps wrongly, that when you started the sequence it ran through the rotation until it completed, so I was puzzled as to whether a spamming keybind would maybe interrupt the sequence. I'm going on the principle "There's no such thing as a stupid question". Any ideas anyone where I'm going wrong?
@@kirglom6179 I think you are just thinking of perhaps pressing the button one time, doing the rotation, and doing it again. No. You just spam the macro like a madman. The software takes care of everything else. Or I think that is how it works. Again, I am not sure myself. I am using my new keyboard as I am typing this. I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet.
Hey Oak, are you aware of any other software you recommend or know people use to achieve this? My mouse doesn't use G-hub. I've dabbled with autohotkey, but id like something a bit more straight forward. Any help is appreciated!
I also use a corsair keyboard and it's icue software. Out side of your keyboard's brand software, all I can think of is AHK. Here are some good scripts for that. github.com/SiderealDay/AutoHotKey/
It always felt uncomfortable for me using the mouse regarding GSE. (I assume its probably just mind over matter and getting used to it - lol) But would the same theory work on a Logictech Keyboard? I assume using same software. If so, I may try that. As that seems to be the way you can make these GSE macro's work the best. (Rotation, Etc.)
@@oakensoul Thanks. I may try that then. I've been messing around with Synapse, Trying to get to work since that is what I have. (Razer keyboard.) But its so touchy. I think I may got it tho. If not, I will get the one you got in description. lol
Do you know how to make a xbox controller work with gse? Ive been trying but nothing seems to work. Id like to bind macros my controller, i play using wow’s own xbox controller features, my controller does not have turbo or anything.
i did the macro like that and it works in the note pad. [[[[[ but inside wow game does not working. i tried using the chat and nothing. what did I do wrong?
@danielnguyen1811 Make sure you create the macro in the right gaming profile on the top right. It will default to the default profile. If there is a wow profile, select it then make the macro. At 0:37 in his video you can see he has his profile locked to Desktop: Default, you may have yours set to change depending on which application you are tabbed into.
Can confirm. I can't thank you enough for this video! It works! And for those wondering, It works the same with a keyboard! Thank you so much Oak!
Glad I could help!
Great vid. I have Logitech mouse too, and I got it setup exactly as you 😊
Nice 👍

I have had issues with G Hub before. I do use a Corsair keyboard which has different software and that works as a backup in a pinch.
Perfect thanks for the tip
Happy to help
Razer Synapse works differently in the fact you tell it how many clicks per second you want. So for example 250ms is 4 clicks per second
Thanks. I've actually never owned a Razer product
wow I have a razer mouse so this is exactly what I need. I just sat it up. Thank you for sharing!
great!

It's not meant to interrupt the sequence

i have done all you said , mouse button just presses it once even when its held down , try it for ages
I'm sorry, it does work for me. I do not know why it wouldnt for you.
Do u have an video with Razer Deathadder mouse also? Cant get this to work with razer mouse :((((
I do not. I dont own any razer peripherals.

I dont have an xbox controller, but I think that Tim built controller support into the newest version of GSE.
Does this software require a Logitech gaming mouse? I downloaded it and it doesn't recognize my G203.
support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360053584913-Download-G203-LIGHTSYNC-Gaming-Mouse - Logitech says it uses G HUB

Awesome. :)
It works in Notepad for me and it does exactly as you show. But the moment I do it in WoW it just doesnt work.
That's really strange. I do not know what could be causing that.
Go to setting in G HUB and delete the WOW profile or disable it from auto switching
