We tried something a little different today. Do you like it when we get out of the studio? Should we feature more of our oversize display pieces? Let us know!
I've heard of gemstone and rock collections. But you guys are moving into the mountain collecting territory. I can't believe how huge those Things Are. C
😱 Wow, I’m really lost for words after seeing all those beautiful oversized specimens. The polished rose Quartz was absolutely beautiful, but the Meteorite in the Statue had to be the most unusual. Not forgetting the Labradorite table, 😀. Thanks for making such a special episode, I really enjoyed it. Yes, I’d love to see more like this please. 😁
That aquamarine in rose quartz is insane! So is the labradorite table. Pretty much everything in this video is jaw-dropping. OMG and don't forget the mammoth chunk of oily chrysichola.
It's so cool to see what kinds of artistic creations you can make with super sized specimens. Imagine a dining room table made out of something exotic like rose quartz or jade.
I have a small piece of Labradorite, but it has rare colors. There's gold, blues, greens, oranges, purples, even white. despite being smaller than my thumbnail, it has alot of beauty.
We have a rough piece that has very deep colors. Almost hard to see at first glance. Love looking at it for long periods of time to expose more colors.
You guys have some incredible specimens there. Displaying them like that makes me worried someone might come along and distroy something or break off crystals to steal.
This is the most amazing thing I ever saw! I got so excited like Rebecca at seeing all these things revealed. I would love to visit your place! Where are you guys located and do you do tours? I would fly to America just to see you guys and your offices! :D That amethyst tree/tunnel is my favourite! It's so sparkly and the colour is wildly vivid and rich! Amazing episode!
We're in Tennessee. While tours aren't something we do regularly, if you're ever in the states, e-mail us at info@gemstones.com and we'll see what we can do.
Would not have comprehended the size or beauty until you stood or sat beside them. Thank you so much. I think it will be a place people will want to come to. Just amazing.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful episode. Looking forward to season 2 (touring your campus). I can feel your passion and devotion. Sending Love to all Gemstone Geeks, Rebecca and all.
So, this was amazing to see!! Oh my gosh, I can't imagine what it takes not only to find these specimens but then to create the best experience for viewing them!! Exceptional!! ❤❤❤❤❤
This blew me away. Amazing collection! I am loving this channel. And to think I grew up just a few miles from your campus. I may have to come back and visit.
OMG, all of those huge gemstones are so incredible.😲😃💎 I never seen gems that size before and yet they're very nice.🤩 To know the facts on each of them and where they come from are very interesting.🤔 My favorites are the "salmon"🐟 rose quartz, the gem globes🔮, the fossil one,🐚 the long tallest amethyst geode💜💎 and the gem table which surprised🙎♀️ me. That gem art piece is nice too.🙂 Great video and see you later.😉👍💎
I just like everyone on here so much! Genuine good people who clearly love your work. I would love to work with this company. ... Can't wait to go to work! Lol and I wouldn't be late getting off to work because I'm stuck on watching this channel😬🙆 Anyway, thanks for all of this great content. I can't get enough! Take care.
@ 11:35 imagine being lost in the desert thinking you see water leaking from a blue-green Rock and you get there and it's nothing!!!!! Its not even really wet!!! I wonder how many people died thirsting to death trying to lick that rock????
I have another question. Does your company or the artist put a protective coating on all the minerals and gemstones? Do you have to protect against weathering, or the elements? Or does some of the weathering and oxidization make the minerals look more beautiful?
With something like a table, a protective coating is likely. But the display pieces are likely all natural. This where it helps to have a professional gemologist arranging the specimens. They know what can withstand the elements and what, for example, needs to be positioned away from direct sunlight.
@@gems oh that's awesome. Yeah I was thinking about the gemstones and all the natural light, and I was wondering that too. I've seen what can happen when you leave a crystal ball out. And with the gemstones having all those randomly pointing facets, it's probably a good thing that you guys have all those translucent and opaque stones.
arent this crystals slowly fading in color and getting cracks slowly because they are put in the sun ? ( some of this crystals i read in past are sensitive to sun and heat )
The president of gemstone has a voice that reminds me of that narrator from Jurassic Park where they were being shown the video about ambers. How apropos.
This all gems are preciese but this lady buetiful preciese more than all are on the table The true buetiful gem on earth.is this lady . GOD bless you keep you buetiful
Several times in the episode You referred to crystals growing on a matrix. Could you please tell me what a matrix is? I know the movie, and I know the math, but I'm not getting the context clues.
Our parent company is JTV or Jewelry Television, which is one of the world's largest retailers of jewelry and loose gems. But, our channel's mission (and that of our website, Gemstones.com) is educational.

i love the music you guys use when you show the gems more closely lol. it’s like they’re models on a runway in 2003 lol

The Malachite/Chrysocolla massive stone (8:19) is absolutely stunning.
Sincerely doubt there is a better or more enthusiastic advocate for gemstones then this shining star! Thanks for the inspiration.

LOVED the production of this video. So many gorgeous specimens; thank you for sharing!
GORGEOUS!
It’s great to see these placed around the campus. I love this episode. that's very nice!
I’d be nervous of them falling over/being pushed (esp the rose flame)
I really like this video! Thanks ☺️

Can I vote for a video tour of the campus? :)
Maybe one day, but that would be a loooong video
@@gems you could always do it in volumes! :D
NEEDDD THE TABLE AGH
I need to work for this company xD this is a dream job
I am excited!
This blows me away!!!!!
I just can't believe they just leaving that amethyst cathedral outside in the direct sunlight, isn't that just going to fade its colour doing so?
The spot it is in is actually pretty ideal. There are buildings around it that block the sunlight from hitting it directly as the sun rises and sets.
I’m going to need links to all of these 👀 I’m renovating
arent this crystals slowly fading in color and getting cracks slowly because they are put in the sun ?

I love specimens. Yeeeeeeeee

Really good video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow I would love to go to this place.
What atomic structure is doing the ejection for the smoky quartz?
Would it be cool to have one of those in your yard? Ugh so pretty!
I’d like to visit your company one day. Are you open to the public? I’m a JTV customer. Thank you for bringing back loose gems to the channel.
All that for a conference room table!!!!!😮

We’re in Knoxville!
Where is this beautiful collection of gemstones?
We’re in Tennessee!
Several times in the episode You referred to crystals growing on a matrix. Could you please tell me what a matrix is? I know the movie, and I know the math, but I'm not getting the context clues.
Sorry about that. The matrix is the material that the crystals are embedded in.
@@gems Thank you
