That was so much fun! But i noticed that you guys cheat because several of the specimens were labeled! They would gave been really hard to guess otherwise and some i had never heard of. But either way, it was a lovely bunch of specimens and thank you both for your knowledge and information on each one of the specimens, labeled or not. It was fun!
Some of these specimens have labels on the bases while they "guess" what they are. I call shenanigans! Lotta pretty stones though, would love to have a large fluorite like in this vid someday.
Have the perfect answer to your “mess” problem. Just shove them all in a well packed box, our receiving hours are 6-2 m-f lol 😂. Thanks guys always enjoyable.👍
I just reorganized my collection and your channel just makes it even easier to do so! I also still have a box of unidentified specimens I have to do something with, might go to my local university to see if there's a geologist that has some time to help me!
Could we please get a video showing all the different types of faceting shapes for gemstones and why some gems are better or can only be cut in certain ways. I feel like it could be an interesting video
I just found your site, very informative. I didn’t know there were that many different minerals on the world in the world. For a very short time in my life I was kind of a rock hound. But then I had to move and move all my rocks. So now I collect coins and spoons my whole collection can fit in a shoebox. Again thank you for showing us all these different elements or stones or how do I ever you say it.
I was up at 3:00 am and came across this channel and I became obsessed ❤ I’m really digging the videos! Also, I love everyone’s vibes 😊 Cant wait to buy some gems 💎
If you want to buy some gems, be sure to check out our livestream tomorrow (monday 3/27) at 5pm eastern. We'll have some neat gems and specimens for sale as well as some giveaways!
Tis quite a vibrant pink that inesite has there, the specimens I've managed to obtain have always been a more subdued peachy colour. A wonderful little collection of goodies today👍 Thanks, love it.
If not for you guys! I would have never known the difference between chrysocolla and turquoise!!!!! Thanks and now i know to do further research in between the two!!!!! ❤ .
I've found I really adore dendritic opal (common opal with fossilized plant matter). I know it's just poch, but the fossilized bits play in the imagination the same way as finding shapes in clouds. It's very whimsical to me!
Very informative. I hope I retain some of this knowledge... hand anything other than purple amethyst to my daughter and ask her what she thinks it is - "chert." 😂
Thank you very much, this videos are so informative, i'm so happy that I managed to Guess a lot of the Gems, althought I thought it was an spinel instead of a garnet =)
Hey 👆👆👆 look up the handle above sells and delivers 💎 and gems at any location🌎✈️ dude is real and legit and has the best price ever tested and trusted 💯😊
I love the concept of this video but half of the specimens having what they are labeled on the bases took away a lot of the enjoyment of watching them "guess" for me :/
Hi: I REALLY get a kick out of watching you guys + I always learn something! I am a retired petroleum geologist + my health is not too good so I always look forward to your shows!
The quality of the video was off. Lots of color distortion at the beginning. Also, Rob and Brit usually identified the stone before we were able to see it clearly enough to guess ourselves. I personally enjoy having an opportunity to test my own knowledge while watching. I did love the length of the video and the concept. It was fun to watch. Love your channel very much! Keep up the good work!
