    The word awesome is often overused but when Brittany used it to describe this collection of spheres and eggs, it was absolutely appropriate. I tried to think which one I'd save if I had to pick one but it kept changing. The sunstone and moonstone. No, the septarian egg. No, the ocean jasper. No, the rutilated quartz. No, the labradorite. But I loved them all.
    I think we've all seen these kind of spheres and eggs before, and probably own at least one ourselves. But this video was above and beyond what I hoped to see when I saw the title. It was great to see how delighted Brittany and Rob were when opening the boxes too. I also learned about pink amethyst, which was new to me, so this episode was a joy all round. Thank you, folks.
    On a side note, whenever I hear the word labradorescence, my friend's smelly old and dearly departed retriever dog pops into my head, lying by the fire after a day in the woods almost visibly emiting 'stink lines'. I know it's spelled differently but I can't help thinking of the essence of labrador!

I would have picked the fluorite sphere i think. To find a fluorite, able to sphere is amazing and that one was just gorgeous, as were they all!

I have a lot of geodes from a spot with both amethyst and pink quartz, so most of the quartz you find there are actyally purple-pink ist with varying levels of iron/irradiation, Thanks for the knowledge!

    Such a coincidence that there would be an episode on spheres 2 days after I bought a sphere. It's nothing spectacular. Just a clear 1 inch quartz sphere. It's for another idea though. When I was out collecting some downed limbs, I found one branch that split into a fork, but then one branch circled back around and grew into the other one. So the branch terminates with a perfectly grown hole. ----o , like so. I plan to stick the sphere in it and put a small LED in the base with a little hidden micro switch so it will light up. I will probably get some modeling putty and use to form around the sphere and hold it in place so that I can carve it in a way that it looks like a warty growth in the log with a sphere in it.

It's a color separation band between the light smokey and clear zones. There is also a layer of scattered chlorite within the stone. It's from Brazil. I'm a life long crystal healer and I can tell you that it's one of the most powerful crystals that I have ever worked with.

      @@gems Wonderful! Alright, here's the franchise. It's called Jewelpet. It is a Japanese and European exclusive franchise made by Sanrio and Sega Toys that features small magical animalistic creatures called Jewelpets. Jewelpets have eyes made out of a specific gemstone and can cast magic with said jewel eyes. There are 42 Jewelpets in total as of now, and each of them has a unique skill. Personally, I love Jewelpet, and seeing as how you guys do content that involves gemstones, including ones from popular media like the Chaos Emeralds from Sonic the Hedgehog and the Crystal Gems from Steven Universe, I'd love to see you talk about each of the Jewelpets and what each of their gems are. You can either make a full video covering all of the Jewelpets, or make a little timely series where you can talk about 6-7 Jewelpets in each video. You may pick.

    Truly disappointed you guys bought into the marketing term "pink Amethyst". That and claiming natural Citrine is just naturally heated Amethyst. To my knowledge, that is still only 1 theory which doesn't add up when the dichroic properties are looked at. Also, if that was the case, exactly how does Ametrine contain both Amethyst and Citrine in the same crystal where the colors are literally quartered?

    • @rdizzy1
      @rdizzy1 2 года назад

      You will not see a legit piece of ametrine that does not have one color inherently bleeding into the other color with perfect lines, they all have bleeding, because ground temps are gradual changes, some parts are hot enough, some aren't, some in between it may partially change color (this is why there is bleeding between the colors). It is not "just 1 theory", it is fact, they have proved it in multiple studies, being able to know the exact temps that the changeover in color occurs, how it occurs, why it occurs, etc.

    • @LDiamondz
      @LDiamondz Год назад

      @@rdizzy1 Yes, that's right. I have more ametrine pieces than I can count. None of them are 50% amethyst and 50% citrine. There's always bleeding. I do have some that appear to have a clean split, but still maybe 60-40% split. They are beautiful.
