I certainly didn't mean to bring up a subject you are self conscious about regarding your speech. I am from MT in the states, and when I watch and listen to your videos, I hear a beautiful voice with that attractive Australian accent. It is not grating or irritating in any way. You are so very gracious in sharing your full self with us, and as a result, so very inspiring! Thanks and thanks again🫂

I have also thought this. I have many friends that are either completely deaf or have a hearing loss and they all have a certain sound to their speech. I absolutely love your accent. It is very soothing to my ears!

I have to admit that I was shocked when you said you were deaf in your last Q&A! You really don't sound deaf - your speech is so clear and punctuated.

I don't usually chime in but when you started chatting about carpal tunnel I do have something to add! I have had surgery in both hands and trigger thumb surgery on my left. (I'm right handed) and right now I've also got golfers elbow! You are so spot on with the death grip comment. It's tough to be mindful and even harder to walk away when you're so into finishing something! It's a must! I also have found the most amazing Arthritis Compression Gloves, they are fingerless support gloves that really do help allot. I've got two pairs ... one with little grips on the palms and the other just plain. They have been a game changer for me. Ordered my through a medical supply shop. Happy Sewing everyone! And Thank you Lisa for all your guidance! We are all so lucky to have you! Shelley

You are a fantastic speaker! You get your point across easily and you have a lovely voice. I listen to your videos while I’m sewing and really enjoy hearing your explanations to questions. I’ve learned so much just from listening to you. I’ve also learned a lot from your tutorials. You are so thorough and I really loved making the mannequin pincushion so much that I made a bunch of them. The little mouse with the shawl is my next project. I also plan to make some of your needle books. All of your designs are amazing! I love your sense of fashion too! You’re truly an inspiration! I absolutely LOVE your needlebooks. I'm working on one right now! The little cottage one. I plan to do the other 2, as well as I plan to "re-do" one of your other items into another needlebook. I'll post them on FB when I get them finished. I'm a slow-bie sewer- not sure of myself, especially the cutting. But oh, I do love them, and they will be given as gifts, except one for me. 😍. Thanks so much for all the fun patterns. Us poor uneducated sewers do so appreciate all your help. You've given me much more confidence to proceed with these cut little things and I am now looking at other things (bags, etc.) to make as well. You've enlarged my world, and I'm soooo thrilled. Hugs from Arkansas.

Oh, no, your voice is so lovely. I love to hear it! I leave you "chatting" at me even when I'm working and not actually "listening"! But I do understand. I hate my voice, LOL. I have taught for years and sometimes in rooms with other classes going also (carving and painting classes). I always said "everyone can take my class, even from across the room". I used to sing and apparently my diaphragm knows how to project well. 😳 But on the upside, my dad while he lived with me and I cared for him could always hear and understand me while he couldn't hear others (nurses, Drs., etc.) So to every dark cloud there is always a silver lining. 😄

Lots of great helpful information today, thank you for answering my question my grandson recently bought a Cairn so I want to make one Scribble is perfect. Also the hints for sore hands is great and I will try using my other hand for overcasting. Also I realised I was putting my needle through at an angle and is why my blanket stitch is messy. I try harder to make sure the needle goes through straight. I have just printed off your needle books the house, kennel, caravan as well as the cute caravan pin cushion. I am about to make all the pincushions and needle books for donations to my grandchildren’s school for stalls. As well as cat rescue group stall. I want to make the cuddle servers this year for Christmas donations to children’s help groups. I can’t express how much your craft saves me on my darkest days I may not sew but I will watch video after video on Payitforward and it gets me through the day. I love your outfit today, I am in awe of your creativity and enjoy making everything I do. Love to you and your family Mary.

I finally had a chance to sit and listen to this video through the end. Thanks for the shout out. I have been recovering from a bad virus that took over a few weeks, only to continue with asthma for for a few more weeks. So haven't done a whole lot. I haven't had much energy. We've had my husband's family here for the winter, so that has taken what little energy I've had left. Hopefully now that they are gone, and I'm getting more energy, I can get back to business, sewing. I'm deciding what's next. Hmmmm. 😅
