I’ve been watching this channel for a while and I don’t understand why you don’t have more subscribers. I love the way you have given of yourself and projects you freely give. Just want to let you know that I’m grateful for all you do. I enjoyed this video...and thanks.
21 k is a pretty good number. If all of us 21 k hit the share button and shared it with our social media friends that number would quadruple. This channel is in my 'favorite channels' folder along with only 4 or 5 others. She's one of the best!
I absolutely love your projects. I'm 71 years old and have been sewing animals and memory items for about two years. I did a bit of sewing in the past, my children's clothing mostly, but stopped for many years due to circumstances beyond my control. I took up sewing again after my heart attack in 2011, but only a little at a time. In 2014, I had heart bypass surgery and knew I had to do something because I couldn't just sit around doing nothing, like my doctors wanted me to.(other health issues arouse at that time). I came in contact with our local home health and hospice coordinator and my life took a totally different turn. She did classes on memory bears for the hospice families. I volunteered to help make some bears and to be an instructor in her memory bear workshops. Since then, I've made over 200 memory items ranging from bears to pillows to lap blankets/quilts and more. I'm planning on incorporating some of your animals into memory items, using loved ones clothing. Thank you so much for your generosity and beautiful items. Many blessings to you.
Well Helen, I believe you are pretty special and I feel perhaps a kindred spirit, you have been PayIng It Forward all along! Thank you for your courage and kindness, you can be my wing man in the whole PayItForward notion!😉😂 please stay well and strong, we need you with us! 🥰🤗
@@payitforward9442 Thank you so much for your kind words. It's souls like yourself who keep this world going in the right directions. I've recently moved from North Carolina, USA, to Tennessee, USA, and will be continuing to make memory items and volunteering my services to hospice as well as other organizations. May you be blessed in all that you do. 🥰🤗
LOVE the hair. LOVE the fashion. LOVE the sewing. But mostly, LOVE that you shared more of yourself. As a fellow "introvert" I know how hard that was for you. You're a beautiful soul. THANK YOU for all the wonderful that is you.
Also LOVE Walt and I was blessed enough to grow up in Southern California, so I've been to Disneyland more than I can count. Still, each visit is like coming home. It truly is the happiest place on earth. Its really the only thing I miss about California since moving away. And do keep up the movie/song quotes... HUGE fan of doing that myself. *toddles away singing....* "I'm on top of the world, looking down on creation and the only......"
Thank you Bratty - Thank you for your kind words and sorry for the delay, I get lost in all the comments sometime, I have just added tube buddy so it can find all the comments I haven't responded to. I am wishing the world can get back to normal as I would love to visit Disneyland again. Don't worry The movie quotes will continue - I have just watched "As good as it gets" again there is some fabulous 1 liners in there. Fabulous movie!
Dear Lisa, I just wanted to say you are wonderful and your gifts of hands and heart are so beautiful. It’s taken me a bit of time but I have pretty much watched all your videos. As an early retiree I’m going to give your little bee a go - it’s not often that we see a well presented craft channel from Australia. Thank you’re PS: loved the bloopers made my day.
Oh Lisa! Thank you for telling us more about you. What a delight you are! And thank you for your patterns and tutorials. I've been sewing for better than 40 years of my life but wasn't inspired to soft sculpture until you made it look so fun! It's in your bloopers that your sense of humor shines through and what a delight! Please don't feel the need to be 'perfect' for us, we aren't perfect either. Just keep smiling and playing.
What a lovely video. Lisa, thank you so much for all the information about your essential sewing box items, but even more for sharing so much about yourself. As an introvert myself I know how hard that is to do, but it is great to know a little more about you. You're an amazing person and I'm so delighted to have found your channel. Listening and watching your videos feels like having a patient friend explaining how to do things and I've picked up so many tips from you about how to create professionally. I only got back into sewing last year during lockdown, after a break of many years, and it has been so therapeutic and calming. Thank you again for so generously sharing all your skills.
Oh Lisa! I just love YOU! You are absolutely adorable and talented and creative and generous! I only recently came across your channel and I'm hooked. I really appreciate your personal style and your creative style. Now you've let us into your world and come to find out you have SIX children and you are an introvert: so in my mine, you are Wonder Woman!
What a blessing you are! I lead a quilting ministry at my church in Tennessee, USA, and we recently decided to expand our ministry to include giving toys to our local children’s hospital and foster program. I needed to find a teddy bear pattern to learn for myself before I could teach it to the ladies in my group, and I came across your Cuddle Bear pattern. Oh how much I have learned from watching your videos! And, I appreciate how you are so thorough in your teaching. Hopefully our group will be able to bless children as you have blessed the world by sharing your gift of creativity!
I have been sewing for over 40 years and always HATED stuffing things....and after your advice to get the forcepts it has made my life SO MUCH BETTER....every time I use them I thank YOU.....it has been a life changer in my sewing room....thank you so much for your GREAT TIPS....amazing......
I have been following you for a week or so and really live your patterns. I've done some pattern drafting and know the work it takes.. Being free is awesome because I'm on an invalids benefit and cost is always a consideration. I've made up the caravan pincushion and love it as that's what I live in. I fell off a horse nearly two weeks ago and have been using the time spent recovering creating different things for Christmas gifts and watching some of your videos. Its hard for me to not be outside so having something crafty I can do while sitting has been awesome. Thank you so much, I really appreciate the wonderful gift of you sharing your skills and patterns. Its something I often do myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Hi Louise, I hope you are recovering quickly, I’m glad you are still able to create while you heal, it will help you get better quicker I’m sure! Thank you for your kind support!🥰
Lisa, thank you for all the info on essential tools. I occasionally would say to myself "I don't need that tool (i.e. wool felting needle or more than one size forcepts) BUT, you were right and when I finally started using the right tool for the job things went alot smoother. And thank you for sharing some info on yourself - you are such a delight and a constant inspiration. I hope that you continue sharing for a long time to come. One scary point - I live in Georgia, USA and I'm starting to naturally think in "mm and cm" - my husband just laughs at me and says "you've been watching Lisa again, haven't you?" Thank you.
Hi Patricia, Yes, a metric convert!😂😂 I’m so glad you have joined my journey and are enjoying my little projects! Stay safe and keep up that creative spirit my friend!🥰
You are just totally awesome. I'm so glad i came across your channel. I'm 64 and am alot self taught with what know. I love to teach others what I can. Thank you so much for all your doing. I love your patterns so much and have been sharing your channel with others. God Bless you.
Hi Lisa. Thank you for this wonderful video. It felt like talking to a good friend. I enjoy your videos and am in awe of your imagination and craftsmanship. But most of all your generosity. You are definitely one in a million and I look forward to spending time with you each week. Take care.
OMG... Oh Lisa this tutorial was terrific we have learnt so much about you... I feel so humble that you are sharing your knowledge with us all. Being on pension at times isnt the easiest thing. Oh and a Dean Martin admirer as well. The bloopers were also great 😉 Thank You..
Oh my goodness....your Amazing qualities are never ending! Thank you for sharing all of the tools and what they are used for, I have most.... My favorite part was you sharing your story with us 😍. I have always admired your style especially that hair, and uniqueness...We have alot in common... age (I'm older) 😉 my daughter is also a stylist, grandkids, my love for animals, etc. and I love being unique and creating unique things for my handmade business, so I consider myself lucky to now have you and your art in my life!💕 Thank you for coming out of your shell and sharing your bloopers...You are one AMAZING lady!
I just LOVE this video! All of the things you use and describe how and why they are used. I'm an introvert too and everything you said, I can relate to. I love to dream up projects and execute them. You are an inspiration and I really enjoyed learning about you and your philosophy for having a happy, fulfilling life. Sharing and caring is what life is all about! Thank You from the bottom of my heart!
Hi Lisa, thank you so much for sharing your tried-and-true supplies. You’ve just cut a lot of the guesswork out for me. Just recently found your channel and started working on one of your teddy bears. Thanks for sharing your heart and soul, it is wonderful to learn a little more about you. We are the same age and I do have to say I love love The Carpenter’s. I look forward to learning more from you by watching your videos. Thanks for all you do!
Thank you for sharing your tools with us! I totally enjoyed learning about you! The giggles at the end were the best!! I look forward to learning more!
Thank you for giving us an insight to what I need and hopefully be as good as you. Loved hearing about you and your family and yes grey is stylish I'm growing out my colour too, you are an inspiration to me and have brought me out my covid coma where my mojo was lost I thank you from the bottom of my heart xx Angie in Somerset UK xx
Hi Angie, My Silver Sister! Us grey girls must stick together 😂 I’m glad you are feeling those creative vibes again, let’s make This year creative and colourful together!🥰
Dear Lisa, thank you for your tutorial, it's very interesting. I like you talk a little bit about yourself, I can appreciate the artist, the woman and your fantastic creative world.
Lisa, Thank you for all you contribute to us. Above all thank you for sharing your personal story. I recently found your channel and you are a wonderful teacher and now I have been confirmed that you are also a wonderful, talented, giving person. I enjoy all your videos because each seems to have something new that I was not aware of in making 3d characters and items.
Wow Lisa, I just got around to watching this particular video. I am completely blown away that you are entirely self taught! What an amazing, creative talent you were blessed with, and a giant sized heart to share it with all of us 🥰
I have loved everything about this video. It is always great to see which tools you are using because all tasks are much easier, and more successful if you have the correct equipment for the task. I can fully understand how you felt talking about yourself - I am much the same. My uni tutors often tell me that I lack confidence. Thank you for sharing a little about yourself and inspiring me to get started on my first assignment. I have collected natural and manmade objects during the summer and I now have to create a digital mood board to indicate the vibe that my furnishing, interior, and fashion designs are going to have using drawings taken from my collections. Looking forward to your new posts.
This is an exciting time for you, I’m almost jealous! My illustrative work is all digital now so I understand where you’re at. You will do great things I’m sure. Thank you for your support 😊🥰
Awh your adorable when your tongue tied! Thank you so very much I’ve learnt so much since I started following you and I’ve even made two of your designs and I’ve never done anything like this before! You show things so clearly and well thought out it makes learning so easy and fun thank you 🥰🌸
Thank you for sharing, this is what makes you so relatable. I think most of us all are introverts. I'm from a very large family, yet am an introvert. I can easily entertain myself with my crafts. I worked retail for 28 years, so I don't like being around a lot of people if I don't have to. Thanks again for being real.
@@payitforward9442 we definitely run parallel lives. I was a hairdresser back in the 80s. A lot of your story is very similar. I don't relate to too many people anymore, and only watch a few people continuously. I love all your projects and I plan to make every one of them. Haha. I've been sewing here and there since I was a child, but not as much as the past 2 years. When we had our first lockdown, I was determined not to gain weight, So i decided to learn how to quilt. My sister makes beautiful quilts, she went to Joanns for classes. I don't have anything near me like that. So I made some small things like table runners and hot pads. Then the mask phase kicked in, I made over 400 of them. I gave them to family and friends, sent them all over the country, and sent 100 to my aunts nursing home, for the residents. I never charged for any of it. As much as I hated them, I made them so everyone could get to the stores to get tp. Haha. Then I went to decopaging, making stuff from clay, painting, then back to sewing, and learning to crochet. So the past 2 years I've pretty much covered it all. I love to craft. Ive turned my dining room into my studio. I'm trying to get my husband to move his tools out of our 3 car garage, it's huge. Haha. My grandmother was an an amazing artists. I wish I could have learned from her. My biggest regret in life. Thankfully YT has wonderful people like yourself to help those of us learn skilld we don't have the opportunity to learn from someone locally. Thanks again.
What a great video!!! Thank you. I love all the info but I mostly love YOU!!! Thank you for being personal you are a very neat lady!!! So glad and thankful that I found you and your amazing channel!!
Hola Lisa!! Gracias!!!
Hola Paulina, ¡Bienvenida a mi estudio! ¡Suenas como si tuvieras una vida maravillosa llena de cosas hermosas! Estoy tan feliz de que te hayas unido a mi viaje, ¡crearemos muchas cosas juntos!
I’ve only just found you, I’m 64, going through my 2nd lot of OC, so bag making is my go to, but now I’ve found you, I’m obsessed lol thanks for sharing a bit about yourself, love your style and creativity.
I got quite choked up watching this, you are a wonderful human being, with so many talents and such a generous spirit ....I am such a big fan of yours now, only found you about 6 weeks ago and you're my go to channel, everytime... Thank you so much for your inspiration and your generosity xxx
Love your tutorials and the diversity of them! After listening to you, it feels like we have ‘like’ minds. And I too love movie quotes and often drop them in conversations. I’m so glad that I found your channel💕
Lisa, thanks for sharing all your information on requirements for your projects. An insight into knowing who you are is most appreciated. Unfortunately, the movie quotes will probably go over my head! Absolutely, love your bloopers. 😊
Wow and you’re an introvert ! You’re amazing ! I somehow stumbled on your channel yesterday when I was looking for simple patterns as I’m a completely new sew-er having only started in May 2020. I’m going to attempt to make your patchwork kitty but I’ve now watched quite a number of your videos and this one with the little personal bit at the end is just lovely 😊 i’ve made a list of all the things I need to equip myself with and I’m really excited to get started. Thank you so much for sharing your talents on RUclips. Greetings from the UK
Estimada Lisa, mereces mi admiración, somos contemporáneas, tienes tanto talento y lo demuestras con sencillez y ello se resalta en tu trabajo😚🌷🌹🌷🌹🌷🌹🌷💖
Lisa, you’re a sweetheart. Loved your blooper, loved the introduction to who you say you are, and I found the first bit very informative with what I'll need to be successful in making these adorable critters and whimsical yet useful items. My husband and I are both introverts so that has worked out well in our covid lock down. I haven't been to Disney California, but I have been to Disney Florida and loved it. You cannot, in my opinion, see all the theme parks in one day. You would love it. Which thing have you designed and made that is your favorite? I see so many in the background that just bring as smile to my face. You are very talented and thoughtful. Thanks for tha chat.
Thank you Sherry, you are so kind! My fave design in felt is probably my white goat who sits on my top shelf! I worked in mohair for years so lots of favourites there too. We introverts have managed lock down quite well hey! It’s lovely to have you with me, thanks for all the your support 😊🥰
Thank you for sharing your tool preferences. I have them all but felting needles and doll wooden joints. My education is in the area of costume design and Special Education. I spent 13 years in theater and then the classroom for 25 years. My children and grandchildren are my models for my clothing design now. You have opened my mind and skills to 3D crafting. Happy designing!
Hi Lisa, I just finished watching this tutorial, and once again you have touched my 💜. I truly have to let you know that you are responsible for starting to heal a broken soul. Because of my serious health problems, I had pretty much given up. I am not trying to be dramatic, but I felt very discouraged about my life. To see me now, the difference from about a month ago is staggering. In the last couple of weeks, I started making pincushions and I have made about 16, and I am having a blast seeing my pros and cons of each one. I’m using different fillers in each so I know what works for me. Anyway, when you started to tell us all a bit of personal information I had to sigh and smile 😃. I thank you for that. Have a wonderful night and I will talk to you again soon. Bye-bye Kathy
Hi Kathleen, I really think the meaning in life is to find your gift, your purpose for life is to give it away. I’m so glad you are feeling better and I hope creating continues to give you a reason to look forwards. You certainly made my day better today, thank you! Stay safe and well my friend 🥰
Lisa: I happened to stumble upon your RUclips channel and have been enjoying your tutorials all night. I, too, don't understand why you don't have more subscribers. After the first 2 tutorials, I became a subscriber. Your tutorials are so comprehensive, easy to follow, and very well done. Can't wait to make the mannequin pin cushion for my sewing room, as a decoration, and have shared the link with a friend of mine who sews also. When browsing your videos, I found the sewing machine pin cushion and can't wait to make that one to add to my sewing machine collection on my sewing room shelf. Needless to say how envious I am of your amazing gift for 3D soft sculpture and crafting. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with the world and also for sharing your patterns! 🧸
Hi Lisa. Ok so, I know I’m late to the party I discovered your channel a week ago and delighted I found you as there is a creative woman inside me but she struggles. I love trying to create but find it difficult to perfect my projects I really feel with guidance from your videos i will be successful and in a little while be able to join a masterclass. Thank you so much for providing your free patterns and imparting you extensive knowledge. You are truly an amazing soul ❤
I really enjoyed this insight into your crafting life. I hope this doesn’t sound like a rant but when I was younger and learning how to sew and knit and embroider, there were online communities willing to share their experience and talent just in the spirit of friendship. Then, all of a sudden crafting turned into a money making exercise where people were charging money for patterns that were often not even their own creations. Selling became the driving force in crafting sites with instructors giving you long lists of materials and links to where to buy them (getting a cut in commission of course). I find your channel a refreshing change in an increasingly selfish world.
Anna , thank you for your kindness, I have witnessed the same greed in too many of those communities, sad to see but we can stand out and put people first! 😊🥰
I absolutely love love your tutorials and videos. As a quilter, designer and doll dressing creator myself I love your creativity and your personality. Thank you for gathering all your knowledge for us and sharing your skills. I absolutely appreceate that. Greetings from Germany
Just want to say a big THANK YOU! You are a true artist and the things you make a so beautiful. And inspiring. Just printed out the pattern for the teapot - the perfect accessory for my easter witch.
Lisa you are absolutley amazing - I have only been watching your videos for a few weeks and i am hooked - you have helped me and no doubt thousands of others to create some amazing projects .... you are truely an inspiration!! xx ❤❤
Hi Lisa, I am just seeing your video today. I was amazed at how thorough you are. I am fairly new to sewing. Started out making drapes for my home and then branched out to quilting and I’ve made a couple quilts. Since I just had my first granddaughter I wanted to make her a stuffed animal. I made her a cute elephant by Funky Friends out of minke and you are so right. Minke is a pain to work with but my elephant came out way better then I ever dreamed. I am now attempting Larry the lion. My next project will be your gorgeous pink bunny. I know that it will be a breeze with your Instruction. I always considered myself to be an extrovert but I could never feel confident enough to make a video for thousands of ppl. I would feel like they would not like me. You are darling. I am from the US so I love your accent. Always makes me think that ppl with that accent are smarter then the rest of us. Certainly more refined. Not sure if that’s true but seems to be true in your case. I’ve watched quite a few tutorials and I have to say yours look is the best by far. Thank you for being so kind by giving us your patterns and knowledge for free. Not many ppl do much for free these days. It is refreshing especially in this crazy world we are all living and trying to survive in. Just what this world needs now. Keep doing what your doing it is easy to see why your so successful. Your a gentle soul. God bless you! Laurie
I think you are an absolute inspiration to all wanting to learn a very special skill ,and I loved listening all about you ive watched pretty much all your videos making all the beautiful toys whilst watching your video all about you,I found it very interesting as like you I also did dog grooming self taught and I always wanted to be a fashion designer when I was younger but didn’t make one of my exams to become one but did pass my art Olevel and passed that I was doing upholstery till a illness recently,so I’ve know started to use my sewing machine again to make your patterns as I love to sew and not like upholstery lugging heavy items around I find it more relaxing thank you so much for all your beautiful free patterns I’m hoping to join your masterclass in the future
You are amazing. Love listing to you teach. I have learned so much in the past two day about sewing with you. I have two sewing machines and one new embroidery machine but I love to hand sew small projects. Thank you for sharing your talent and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Ahhh, Lisa! You are so delightful! I'm just now finding you and am enjoying your videos. My first project will be a pincushion! Thanks for the patterns.
Oh Lisa you're lovely. Always great content- slips ? Well don't we all ha. I don't watch movies ! Karen Carpenter I think is unique and I do love Maggie Smith too though, she is my favourite actress. Your hair is a beautiful colour. 'Thrift stores' in the u.k. are mostly very small just here and not much content ! It is always a pleasure to follow you, sincere thanks for all you do.
Why have I never seen this to the end! Please please please add more bloopers to the end of your videos, they are wonderful. Karen Carpenter, what is there not to love about her music. For ever timeless classics! My memory is terrible unless I watch a movie over and over so I always miss your quotes, even in this video 😄. I would love to know how you cram everything into your day, from your bike ride, illustrating, dog grooming, your channels, your family etc… Hugh Grant… not a bad movie yet! Love him but my fave is Gerrard Butler, especially in The Phantom of the Opera. I have loved every thing about that story since I was a child!. I think this is my favourite video of yours now, love getting to know you. You are one in a billion xx
Thank you! I have more Bloopers in Wednesday’s PayItForward, December Masterclass Video, so embarrassing 😳😂 I’m glad you watched this one it will give you a chance to win that Mohair kit! Good luck my clever friend 😉🥰
I just found you about 3 weeks ago. You’re adorable and your work is priceless. I love dogs as well - especially basset hounds. I can’t wait to try some of your patterns. So fun!!
Thank you so much dear Lisa for this wonderful video. You really are a great person. I immensely loved your Mary Poppins quotes .. yes please keep them coming. You're in Australia and I'm in Malta. Both are islands but very far from each other. Obviously Malta is a very small island. Thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of the world. God bless you always 😘🥰😍💖
Thank you for introducing yourself to us. I am making my first creation now. It is the scrappy dog . I will post a pic when done. I'll be back. ( that's an easy one) 🙂
The doll needles are also great for those with arthritis. I've been using them a lot for hand sewing. I used them to make fabric flowers, it helps your hand not cramp up.
Amazing!! you are trully amazing and my all time inspiration, such a genuine true aussie, I always use quotes to motivate and encourage my grandchildren and my sons, especially through bad times. After listening to you today I feel like I know you and it's a pleasure. thank you 🥰💕
I love your wonderful personality, the projects you make, the way you teach. I'm very thankful. You should have million subscribers. My best regards for your and your family 💕💕💕
Hi Lisa! I am so thrilled to have found you! Your videos are fantastic and thank you for doing these. How wonderful of you to give your time and patterns away. I have done some soft sculptures in the past, but nothing like what you have done. I have been sewing my entire life. I am about to try your Memory Bear. I just love the way yours looks over others. So beautiful!! Anyway, we seem to have a lot in common. Yes, love dogs, I am 59 and married 40 years. So, by the date of your video, we are the same! I loved learning about you and too bad we live so far apart, I would love to hang out with you! I also loved the bloopers! Thanks for all you do!!
@PayItForward It sure would be fun! I am starting to put the body together of the bear. My arthritic hands don't like putting the side body pieces in! I am at the hand sewing part of the curves, and it really shows that you began sewing by hand. Your stitching is so beautiful and mine, well, not so much! LOL!
Thank you so much for sharing your tools and tips ! And thank you for letting us get to know you. Thank you for generously sharing all the great projects. My Granddaughters have put their orders in for Foxes and Bunnies and a "Cowboy " bear for my Grandson with Down syndrome. He loves John Wayne 😊. I am loving my soft sculpture journey ! ❤
I love your channel. I whole heartedly agree with Dean and Karen !! My favorite movie of all time too, love the characters. I happen to live very close to Disneyland and we go often, what a wonderful place. We have a lot in common on other things as well, funny! Stay safe and I am a big fan of your work. Piacere, Girolamo Trombetta!
You are just lovely and an absolute delight. Not to mention super talented and generous. Thank you, more than happy to subscribe - hi from across the ditch
Hi, Thank you for sharing your time and techniques, love your work and personality. Fabulous. Look forward to seeing your up and coming videos as well as working my way through your past ones. Will be having a go at some of your amazing projects for sure. Hugs from Cornwall, UK
Thank you for your essential list. In my younger days I was a nurse (enrolled nurse). I never thought I'd be using forceps again 😏 Wow you're even more talented than I thought. What wonderful skills you have. A wide variety of talents. But you're so Aussie and friendly and super lovely. Loved the bloopers. We have quotes from movies and songs too. Movies like Blazing Saddles, The Three Amigos, The Life of Brian offer heaps of very funny and some a bit risqué one liners. I like blues, heavy rock but also admire people like Dean Martin (I watched his show when I was in my mid teens, late at night). Songbirds like Karen Carpenter will always be loved. I've always been a bit of a loner and introverted. As I age though I'm starting to not care what people think of me. I just do and wear things that make me happy.
I just found your site and I absolutely love it. You are so creative and now I know that you were extremely funny after watching the end of this question-and-answer portion. You live in one of the most beautiful country, I only wish I could see. I look forward to seeing your next video plus I have a lot to catch up on.
This is so nice to know. Wish this was the first video to view as I had so many questions to ask. We are kindred spirits as you revealed about your life.I would love to ask more but don’t want to intrude. Thank you for giving of yourself. Just found you a few short weeks ago.
Hi i have only recently found your beautiful videos and adore all of them .Your are so kind and thoughtful I am self taught at sewing and appreciate all your skill and teaching so much Love Janet x
Love your videos, you are so inspirational. Ive been making bears , rabbits and gnomes and now ragdolls. I give the money I make to Childrens Cancer charities or to the local orphanage here in Bulgaria. I am looking forward to making one of your bears. Thank you for your time. Liz O'Keeffe
Hi Lisa, thanks for your enlighting video. Lovely to hear a bit about you and family and what you enjoy doing and what you love. I love your animals and the extra dimensions you add to make them appear more realistic, which no one else seems to do.. I was really hoping to hear about what specific type of pencils or whatever it is that you use for highlighting your soft sculpture eyes etc. and for adding dimension. It is not a basic necessity so you did not include it and though I have tried to catch what you use on some of your videos but I am at a loss to what it is you use exactly (is it artist oil based pastels or ordinary pencils?) If there are specific colours that are used most frequently, I would appreciate it if you let us know so that I can only purchase the ones I really will need. I do not use makeup that some people seem to be using, but I do have some watercolour pencils but do not know if they are suitable or if I need to wet them first. Sorry if this appears garbled.. Thanking you in advance.
Hi Belinda, I generally use artist Soft pastels to shade small areas of my work they come on pencil or stick form. Faber Castell is one of my fave brands. Not oil pastels. I use an Airbrush with fabric dyes in Masterclass.🥰
Its been a joy to listen to you, your so good at inspiring us and the way you describe yourself is so down to earth, just a little question though if i may ask ? How on earth did you manage to learn all your wonderful talents with six children? it must have been hard... thanks so much Lisa
Thank you for sharing your equipment you work with and especially sharing yourself with us! You are a treasure and so talented. Love that I have recently found you, I love your videos. I will try the very cute dress pin cushion. I don’t have great flexibility in my hands but the will and determination keep me trying 😁.
Hola from Spain!... I’ve recently discovered your Chanel and OMG❣️❣️❣️❣️ You are an amazing artist and such a wonderful person. Even though I am not a very skilled person (but I never stop trying... )I love all you do. And Inwill be trying craft some of your stuff. The explanation you give for showing free tutorials says much of your kind heart. Love your hair, the way you dress... love Disney ( especially Mickey Mouse.) and I’ll be waiting for your movie quotes.... Thank you for sharing your wonderful art. Hugs😘🥰
OMG you are amazing, just love your video. Thanks for telling us about yourself !! Love Karen Carpenter as well, Disneyland is a fantastic place, I loved it too. Your bloopers were funny, we all have our days of having to put our "teeth back in" hahahaha. I have only stumbled across your UTube channel recently, and am in the process of going back and watching your videos so I can start making different things for my grandchildren. I have 9 grandkiddies, another one on their way, so many beautiful things to create from your UTUBE channel I want to make them all. I will definitley give it a good go. I too live in Australia, so all your materials are easily purchased from our local stores, I don't have to buy from os. Thanks heaps Lisa soooo looking forward to more video tutorials !
Hi Lisa )). I’ve just started watching your channel and find it so refreshing. Thank you for being so gracious with your time, information and the hilarious bloopers at the end. I did FB live for a little bit and know exactly what it’s like . I’m not sure of the movie line or song but you mentioned many movies ….Notting Hill, PS I love you, Love Actually xxx
I’ve been watching this channel for a while and I don’t understand why you don’t have more subscribers. I love the way you have given of yourself and projects you freely give. Just want to let you know that I’m grateful for all you do. I enjoyed this video...and thanks.
Such a beautiful comment, I appreciate your support!😊🥰
I agree completely with Alesia ja.
21 k is a pretty good number. If all of us 21 k hit the share button and shared it with our social media friends that number would quadruple.
This channel is in my 'favorite channels' folder along with only 4 or 5 others. She's one of the best!
everyone needs to hit the share button often. i think Lisa is great
j´adore vos vidéos - Even if you speak a bit fast.-
I absolutely love your projects.
I’m excited you are going to try my little Bee! He’s a fun project, I appreciate your kind support and I’m glad you had a laugh! 🥰🤗
Nice to see your personal side ❣️ and going over your toolbox is a great help 👍🏼
Hi Elaine, thank you for your kindness! I appreciate your support 😊🥰
You are so very welcome! I agree, creating has been a wonderful distraction in my own life, I’m glad you are enjoying the experience with me 🥰
Stop it ! You are way too kind ! Thank you, I’m just happy you are enjoying seeing my lil projects!🥰🤗
What a beautiful example of PayingItForward you are Terri, I feel very lucky to share with you all, thank you for all you do!🥰
I have been sewing for over 40 years and always HATED stuffing things....and after your advice to get the forcepts it has made my life SO MUCH BETTER....every time I use them I thank YOU.....it has been a life changer in my sewing room....thank you so much for your GREAT TIPS....amazing......
Hahaha yes! I have a convert! I’m glad they have helped, now you can make more projects!😊🥰
One scary point - I live in Georgia, USA and I'm starting to naturally think in "mm and cm" - my husband just laughs at me and says "you've been watching Lisa again, haven't you?"
Thank you.
Take care.
Hi Narakai!, I’m happy to have you here, thank you🥰
OMG... Oh Lisa this tutorial was terrific we have learnt so much about you... I feel so humble that you are sharing your knowledge with us all. Being on pension at times isnt the easiest thing. Oh and a Dean Martin admirer as well. The bloopers were also great 😉 Thank You..
You see ! I knew we were Kindred Spirits!😂🥰
Love all your videos, but this one is superb. Your positive words and feelings are very much needed in this universe. Thank you so much
Thank you Jo, you are lovely for saying so!🥰🤗
Oh my goodness....your Amazing qualities are never ending!
Nancy, I’m overwhelmed, thank you so much, we will be kindred spirits! I wish you well with all your endeavours 😊🥰
Thank you, I’m so happy you have joined my creative journey 😊🥰
Hi Lisa, thank you so much for sharing your tried-and-true supplies. You’ve just cut a lot of the guesswork out for me. Just recently found your channel and started working on one of your teddy bears. Thanks for sharing your heart and soul, it is wonderful to learn a little more about you. We are the same age and I do have to say I love love The Carpenter’s. I look forward to learning more from you by watching your videos. Thanks for all you do!
Hi Lenora and Welcome! I’m so happy you have joined my creative journey, you sound like a kindred spirit, lets make great things together!🥰
Thank you for sharing your tools with us! I totally enjoyed learning about you! The giggles at the end were the best!! I look forward to learning more!
Happy to share a laugh with you! Thank you 🥰
Thank you for giving us an insight to what I need and hopefully be as good as you.
Thank you for all your support Marisa, great to have you here😊🥰
Lisa, Thank you for all you contribute to us. Above all thank you for sharing your personal story. I recently found your channel and you are a wonderful teacher and now I have been confirmed that you are also a wonderful, talented, giving person. I enjoy all your videos because each seems to have something new that I was not aware of in making 3d characters and items.
Hi Patricia, it makes me so happy to hear of you discovering new techniques! Thank you for sharing my journey😊🥰
Wow Lisa, I just got around to watching this particular video. I am completely blown away that you are entirely self taught! What an amazing, creative talent you were blessed with, and a giant sized heart to share it with all of us 🥰
You are too lovely my friend! Thank you 🥰🤗
I have loved everything about this video.
You show things so clearly and well thought out it makes learning so easy and fun thank you 🥰🌸
Thank you Catherine, this makes me so happy, I’m glad you are trying new things!😊🥰
Hahaha! I have worked in Fashion retail for many years, it’s enough to put you off people forever!😂😂 We are definitely Kindred spirits 🥰
Hi Michelle and welcome to my studio! I hope you will stay awhile and create with me!🥰
Hola Lisa!! Gracias!!!
Hola Paulina, ¡Bienvenida a mi estudio!
¡Suenas como si tuvieras una vida maravillosa llena de cosas hermosas! Estoy tan feliz de que te hayas unido a mi viaje, ¡crearemos muchas cosas juntos!
Wonderful you are a great teacher , even that I had been sewing , you teach me to do things tge right way! God Bless you ❤
I’ve only just found you, I’m 64, going through my 2nd lot of OC, so bag making is my go to, but now I’ve found you, I’m obsessed lol thanks for sharing a bit about yourself, love your style and creativity.
Hi and Welcome! I love bag making too, kindred spirits! Enjoy the journey🥰
I got quite choked up watching this, you are a wonderful human being, with so many talents and such a generous spirit ....I am such a big fan of yours now, only found you about 6 weeks ago and you're my go to channel, everytime... Thank you so much for your inspiration and your generosity xxx
Well Chrissy you are an Angel for saying such lovely things, I truly appreciate you! I hope we will create many things together!🥰🤗
Love your tutorials and the diversity of them! After listening to you, it feels like we have ‘like’ minds. And I too love movie quotes and often drop them in conversations. I’m so glad that I found your channel💕
Hi Deidre, I’m glad you’re here!🥰
Lisa, thanks for sharing all your information on requirements for your projects. An insight into knowing who you are is most appreciated. Unfortunately, the movie quotes will probably go over my head! Absolutely, love your bloopers. 😊
Hi Margaret, lovely to hear from you! You are so very welcome 🥰
Gidday and Welcome to my studio! I’m so happy you have joined my journey, I will be cheering you on! Thank you and stay safe🥰
Estimada Lisa, mereces mi admiración, somos contemporáneas, tienes tanto talento y lo demuestras con sencillez y ello se resalta en tu trabajo😚🌷🌹🌷🌹🌷🌹🌷💖
Dear Lisa, what an enjoyable video. Your passion for your family and crafts shines through x
Thankyou, love these tips💖 It's so delightful to hear the personal side of Lisa Pay!!
Brilliant learning, thank you.I have several cut out teddies that I haven’t been able to finish, this lesson has set me on a proper path to success.
You are so very welcome, I’m cheering you on from here!🥰
Lisa, you’re a sweetheart.
Hi Claire, you are speaking my language! I love costume design and also puppetry. I hope you enjoy our sewing journey together!😊🥰
Well I’m very glad you have stumbled my way Dori! I love your creative enthusiasm! Thank you for your support!🥰🤗
You are so very Welcome! Perfect finishing is so important, I hope you will stay awhile and create with me🥰
I really enjoyed this insight into your crafting life.
PayItForward 💞
I absolutely love love your tutorials and videos. As a quilter, designer and doll dressing creator myself I love your creativity and your personality. Thank you for gathering all your knowledge for us and sharing your skills. I absolutely appreceate that. Greetings from Germany
Welcome Boneka! I hope you will stay awhile and create with me!🥰
Just want to say a big THANK YOU! You are a true artist and the things you make a so beautiful. And inspiring. Just printed out the pattern for the teapot - the perfect accessory for my easter witch.
Sounds very exciting and creative! Have fun!🥰
Lisa you are absolutley amazing - I have only been watching your videos for a few weeks and i am hooked - you have helped me and no doubt thousands of others to create some amazing projects .... you are truely an inspiration!! xx ❤❤
Aaaaaw, thank you so much!
A kindred spirit for sure! We will make great things together you and I, have a wonderful week my friend!🥰
You are amazing. Love listing to you teach. I have learned so much in the past two day about sewing with you. I have two sewing machines and one new embroidery machine but I love to hand sew small projects. Thank you for sharing your talent and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Gidday Irene and Welcome! I’m so glad you have joined my creative journey! You sound like a kindred spirit 😊 Thank you!🥰🤗
Ahhh, Lisa! You are so delightful! I'm just now finding you and am enjoying your videos. My first project will be a pincushion! Thanks for the patterns.
Welcome Jackie! I hope you will stay awhile and create with me 🥰
Oh Lisa you're lovely.
Hi Jean, lovely to hear from you, yes Maggie is our Queen, I hope you are safe and well and I thank you for all your support 😊🥰
Thanks for going over all of your tools. I have everything except the wooden discs. I love your childhood bear. He’s still in great shape.
Hi Kathy, thank you yes he is doing well🥰
Hi Lisa. What was the size of the needles you use?
Enjoy all of your videos. Your love to create is inspiring. You are quite a wonderful human being.
Hi Joyce, you are so kind, thank you so much🥰
I just found you about 3 weeks ago. You’re adorable and your work is priceless. I love dogs as well - especially basset hounds. I can’t wait to try some of your patterns. So fun!!
Basset Hounds are divine! I also love to draw them, I hope you enjoy sewing with me😊🥰
Thank you so much dear Lisa for this wonderful video.
Thank you Marie, you are too kind, I really appreciate your support! Have a wonderful day😊🥰
Thank you for introducing yourself to us. I am making my first creation now. It is the scrappy dog . I will post a pic when done. I'll be back. ( that's an easy one) 🙂
A great place to start Susan! I’m excited to see him🥰
The doll needles are also great for those with arthritis. I've been using them a lot for hand sewing. I used them to make fabric flowers, it helps your hand not cramp up.

Hi Renee! Yes there must be fun! Have a wonderful day🥰
Is this a quote from Mary Poppins!?
@@payitforward9442 yes indeed!!
Hi Marygayle and Welcome! Kindred spirits for sure, wouldn’t it be fun to share a cuppa together!🥰 I hope you will stay awhile and create with me🥰
@PayItForward It sure would be fun!
Oh how gorgeous! A cowboy bear, I would love to see a pic of that one. Thank you for all your support 😊🥰
You're amazing 👏 abs thank you so much for sharing your skills and wisdom with us 🎉

Hi, Thank you for sharing your time and techniques, love your work and personality. Fabulous. Look forward to seeing your up and coming videos as well as working my way through your past ones. Will be having a go at some of your amazing projects for sure. Hugs from Cornwall, UK
Hi and Welcome! I hope you do try some of my projects and enjoy them. I will be cheering you on😊🥰
Thank you for your essential list.
You are my kindred spirit Nancy! I like ageing for that reason only, I do and wear what I like! I’m so glad you have joined my journey 🥰🤗
Your work is wonderful. I’ve been working on your pin cushion patterns and I can not wait for your ladybug video o
Thank you so much Margaret! I need to get a wriggle on with my Ladybug for sure! Thank you 🥰🤗

Thank you for being there to show us all your great projects. From Jean in the UK
Hi Jean and Welcome! I’m happy to share with you all😊🥰
Hi Lisa, thanks for your enlighting video.
