Thank you Lisa for your beautiful design, great clear and easy instructions and video! I love this and made one today for my Grandson. I’ve also cut out pieces for my other Grandson and will make your patchwork cat for my Grandson daughter 🥰
I've just made a little dog using my step dad's clothes for his only great grandson for Xmas. Thanks for the great pattern and very clear instructions. 48:40
I made this little dachshund for my grandson, with all the scraps from scraps of the shirts I've sewed for his grandfather, so it will be a true heirloom, as my husband loves dachshunds. Thank you Lisa, it came out beautiful!!
Just found you, I can't wait to have a go at lots of your creations, they are all so brilliant. I have been making toys for nearly 60 years, am 81 this year. I can honestly say I am never bored, mind you, never particularly tidy either!!!
I had a smile on my face while watching you make this cute dog. I must have a go at making one! Thank you for all you do. It is all very much appreciated ❤

I lost my beloved Mother in law May 16, 2021. I was kooking for a teddy bear pattern to make a memory bear for everyone. (A retail store is selling patterns for 20 dollars) I saw your beautiful patterns and fell in love with them. Now I have the hard choice of deciding which pattern to give to whom. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work, I would never have been able to afford all of them! Wish me luck I have never made a stuffed animal before. Sending you much love and gratitude for sharing your beautiful work.
I’m so sorry for your loss Marisol, our Mothers are very special. I hope you will find some comfort and joy in creating for others. You won’t need luck, I will be with you every step of the way! Happy sewing and stay safe 🥰🤗
Lisa AGAIN....THANK YOU so very much for your sweet patterns - LOVE your designs!!! Going to make some to send to Ukraine for the children.....80 degrees in sunny California....Love your way:)
Hi Erline! This is the best way to PayItForward right now😢 Thank you for your warm generous heart, much love to you and yours, stay safe my Sunny friend!🥰
I love the dog. Going to cover the dog house roof with the succulents and I was wondering where I could get a doggie. Well I’m going to make one from my fabric scraps to put on top of the dog house with my succulents. Thanks for this great idea.
So very happy! What joy this could bring to people for Christmas gifts! Thank you so much for another wonderful tutorial! Hope you have an amazing week!
i am trying to make the patch work pup wish you had written instructions on sewin g head as i have to keep going back and forth to computer love the pup , thank you for the patterns
Hi from France....I've just made my first of three for the Grandies. One in yellows, one in greens & one in pinks. Thank you so very much for your most generous pattern offers. Lisa Pay Rocks......💛💚💗
I absolutely love your channel, you have such a good heart, I absolutely admire you. I watched one episode where you basically encouraged ppl whi need to make a extra income to support their families by using your patterns as a means to make a better living. I adore you for helping others by sharing your talent and giving everyone access to your patterns which you worked so hard on. I can watch you all day long. I learn something new every time. And your "training " method is so easy to follow, you explain everything so simply, anyone can follow, even though we know your work is quite intricate. So, I just want you to know that we appreciate the patterns and tutorials you created just for us. 💕
Well Shani, you have made my day! I’m so grateful to have you all creating with me and love to hear you are feeling confident in your skills! You are so very welcome😊🥰
@@payitforward9442 I only "found" you yesterday! Already amazed that you give your brilliant patterns for free. I was going to ask if it would be ok to make up a few of these wonderful dogs to sell to raise funds for a small dog rescue charity. Due to covid19 we, like so many charities, have not been able to hold any events this year. I think these lovely dogs would be great for fundraising and not cost me a fortune to post. Sorry this turned into an essay lol x
And I totally agree with everything that Shani said about, your generosity and your willingness to help others! I’m following your pattern now. I’ll share a picture when it’s completed! I recently retired and am a very big wool spinner, knitter and have made a ton of masks, so I’m having fun getting back into sewing. This was the first pattern that I came across that really inspired me! Thank you so much for everything you do for all of us. I know it’s very time consuming!!!
I've made the dog as a draft stopper and changed the back legs so they sit on each side and don't stick out at the back. I also added the tail with a button and this makes it movable. Giving it to a friend as a housewarming gift. It was such fun to make it out of recycled fabric I had and get creative. Thank you,
I made this little guy for my sewing room. Each stripe is for a different type of sewing needles: straight pins, machine needles, sewing needles. Keeps everything organized!
I've just made this patchwork dog for my granddaughter, I'm so pleased with it Lisa I'm going to make one to keep for my self. I find your step to step tutorials easy to follow. Thankyou Lisa, for keeping me occupied during these difficult times. Last week I made my granddaughter the frog. Thankyou once again.
I just got my son a mini doc and he is so sweet just like your Lil doggy ,I am going to make him this lol it will be so cute to see him drag this guy around 😂💕💜🧡
This is such a cute project, I’m thinking a door stop or even on top of your bed! Your creativity is so endless, I’m always blown away by your talent and you share all of this with us, I’m so glad I’m one of your subscribers! 🐶
Hola buenas noches. Desde que me apareció tu canal quedé prendada a él. Me ha servido como una terapia hacer tus proyectos. Ya hice éste y el gato. Más adelante espero publicarlo y etiquetarte. Muchas gracias por tan bellos tutoriales.
I came across your site purely by accident and so glad I did. Thank you so much Lisa, your tutorials are amazing, so informative and easy to watch and your patterns.......Wow.
This woul❤️d make a lovely draught excluder. Thank you so much for all your hard work in developing these beautiful patterns and making the in - depth videos.
Wonderful Lisa ! So lovable, I think they look extra special as a pair - friends ! Why one when you could have two. Loving them, thankyou for sharing these cuties.

Lisa, thank you so much for this adorable doxie pattern! I just found your channel and your wonderful designs. I'll be making this doxie for a dear friend and co-worker who is leaving for a new job. She's a fur mom to a doxie, so I know she'll love this. I hope she'll think of me whenever she looks at it. Thanks for sharing your patterns and brightening the lives of others!
Super cute dog love his/her face, thanks so much for another wonderful pattern and taking the time to give us a full tutorial. You are very generous and it's much appreciated :)
Sew adorable! The "Foster Family" who fostered for my rescue Lana before I adopted her have a Doxie! They are coming back to IL - just out of Chicago the "Windy City", and what a great gift this would make as a draft dodger! They actually had 2 of them ... a tan and black, and one passed last year.... I may try modifying it to have a head on each end, and split the fabrics to look like each of them! They were the sweetest bookends and foster sisters to my Lana and this would make a useful remembrance. :)
My first project with you and what fun. I have a change I would make (back of the head piece) because it shows a bit on mine (not on the front, but you can see it and I'm little Miss Picky, LOL). I am thinking I will design my own head and tail for a similar little dog, only a chihuahua as they are some of my favs (I have had numbers of them over years, 3 at the moment) along with a Valley Bulldog and a Pug. I love, love dogs. I also love, love your videos. What a very sharing and generous and oh, so talented person you are. I admire you immensely. Thank you so very much. I am hoping to do more of your projects, some of the more involved ones as well. Yes to the felted bunny too. I've watched several of your videos "just for fun". Again, thank you so very much for very detailed and well thought out instructions. You make it simple to do.
Hi Carol, I wish you well with your little Chihuahua design! We are alike in that way, Dogs are a huge part of my life! Looking forward to many more projects together!🥰🤗
Thank you so much for this pattern!!! Thank you for giving permission to sell these as well from your awesome patterns. I am going to try to make some ( if my sewing is any good lol) to sell at some fund raising events for an animal shelter here in SA, so I absolutely love your motto of paying forward.
Me too. My daughter just Face Timed me for an hour so I could talking, singing &make silly noises and faces to my 7mo. Great Granddaughter They live about 5 states ( in the USA ) from me. With this Covid 19 situation, I know I won't be able to hug and cuddle her until who knows when. Thank you for this darling easy pattern. You do a great tutorial. Do you have suggestions for putting a couple of "teething" textures to this doggy. Some of her little cloth books crinkle and have "rubberized" corners so she can teeth while playing. I just happened to "find" this video after I Facetimed for about an hour with the girls. I can't wait to see your other tutorials. Thank you so very much for helping me make this great you for my precious sweety💘 Karen, Columbus, Ohio USA.
Lisa, I finished the little dog yesterday, the first time I’ve felt like making anything since my husband died a year ago April 22. Your directions are perfect; the only thing I had trouble with was the measurements. I’m in the States, so having everything referred to in cm and mm instead if 1/4 inch, for example, was a bit confusing and difficult. I might make another dog as this one was intended as a gift for the baby across the street, due to be born in September, but it’s so darned cute I might want to keep it. Thank you for posting such an adorable project. And I did notice once you said “about 1/4 inch” and once you said “about an inch,” and that was nice to hear.
Hi Gloria, I’m glad to hear you are feeling inspired after you loss, I’m so sorry. We have the metric system here in Oz and I do find it more suitable for my projects as the increments are smaller, so better for my detailed work. I will try to include your imperial measurements whenever I can. Thank you for your support and I hope you continue to find joy in creating.🥰🤗
@@payitforward9442 Thank you so much for your kind reply. After I show my cousin and sister-in-law tomorrow, I will give the doggie to the woman across the street. She told me today her baby girl is due in 12 days. Then maybe I’ll make another, so cute🐾🐾💕 Stay well, all best wishes to you.
Thank you for this delightful little puppy. My daughter recently adopted a little black/white dachshund and this is so sweet. So much personality in the little face!
I'm truly enjoying creating your animals and dolls for my granchildren. We have always had german shepherd dogs. Have you any patterns with that breed?
Thank you for such clear instructions and all of the fabulous tips. My little doggies toes don’t look as round as yours…any tips for stitching those small curvy areas? I did stuff them firmly, but they look more pointy . I am going to make more of then because it is so much fun! Funny how the little head looks at me and inspires me to complete the body!
So true! I often make heads first for this very reason! When you are sewing around small curves try not to stop and start, and when you do need to pivot, make sure you do it with the needle fully down in your fabric. I hope this helps!🥰
Seems longer than a year ago .. Going to make the whole set again ... can't believe how much I've learned since making this lovely dog.. just show.lisa..every new creation along the way teaches ..😊💗
THANK YOU! The holidays will be tight this year, but I plan to make some good gifts for my 4.5 yr old twins and this will be EXCELLENT for them using their old clothes with their favorite colors and characters 🤗💜
Lisa, Thank you so much for sharing your patterns!! I just fell in love with the Easy Patchwork Dog and MADE TWO of them!! I had been in a real sewing 'block' where I couldn't get my mojo back, but these inspired me so much!! I'm thrilled !! Merry Christmas and happy New Year xxx,
Finally, I can join in. I'm more of a cat person but I couldn't resist those floppy ears and inquisitive eyes. I have the head cut out and fabric lined up for the rest of the body. Still needing felt. At least it's only 2 colors. Enjoying your little creations past and present. Thank a billion for sharing with us all.
I can’t wait to try this. So cute. The only thing I’m unclear about is when you talk about knotting the thread on the buttons when attaching the head and tail.
Love your tutorials and all the cute animals as well 🥰 you are so good at teaching, I really like to learn more from you. Hope you and your family will be safe and peaceful. Thanks 🙏
I've just found your channel and it's not often that I have to immediately have a go at a pattern I see on RUclips, but yours I did! The Patchwork Pup is so adorable and you made it sound easy in your intro - and it was!! Thank you so much for the pattern and walk through tutorial. I've almost finished mine - just need to attach his head and tail - love the button technique so you can pose him. One regret though I used yellow for his back legs and he looks a bit like a chicken! He still looks adorable from the front though. I'm not even a dog person, we have two cats, but I just couldn't resist the pup. Thank you again and I'll look forward to seeing all your other patterns. Best wishes from the UK x
I have made two of them Lisa and they are adorable! I have another one cut out and will make it after Christmas. I would love to try the terrier as well, a beautiful way to remember your Shelby. Thank you so much for the patterns and excellent tuition. God bless the work and a very blessed Christmas. Naomi x
Just found you as I was scrolling through, I’m glad I have , I will subscribe , loved your tutorial, I’m definitely going to try make this , and thank you for sharing the pattern xx

I am going to try to make some ( if my sewing is any good lol) to sell at some fund raising events for an animal shelter here in SA, so I absolutely love your motto of paying forward.
Oh! That’s awesome! You are so welcome, thank you for PayingItForward!🥰🤗
Where isthe pattern and how to download
Thank you for sharing this. How amazing all of your work! Thank you again.
Thank you Bety, I’m glad you’re enjoying them!🥰
I make animals out of minkie material..like the idea sewing a edge where you stuff and hand sew up
Gorgeous feeling fabric, sometimes a little tricky to work with!😊
Can't wait to make these thankyou for the video and pattern just love watching all the toys you make
They will be friends for your Lil Pig!🥰
Just came across your channel. Love your pup. Will have to make several for Christmas gifts. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Carol and Welcome! Thank you for PayingItForward 🥰
Awesome! Can't wait to make this dog. You are so talented! Beautiful job Lisa! I enjoyed all your patterns
Hi Shannon, I hope you do!🥰
absolutely clever idea sewing head "with" button !!!
Thank you, and it’s so easy too!🥰
Here I am watching your newest creation when I should be doing chores😂
Chores will wait, creativity won’t!😂😂 I hope you enjoy it!😊🥰
I'm doing the same! This is so darn cute!! 😍
Me too. My daughter just Face Timed me for an hour so I could talking, singing &make silly noises and faces to my 7mo. Great Granddaughter
They live about 5 states ( in the USA ) from me.
Thank you so very much for helping me make this great you for my precious sweety💘

Me too, lol!
I made this one today. It was so very easy and super cute! Thank you!
Hi Cynthia! Oooh so lucky, they really are a magnificent little breed, such a strong temperament, I’m glad you like my Pup!🥰
I've found you today. You and your creations are who I was looking for so long... your art is amazing and lovely 😍🌹
I’m glad you found me! I hope you will stay awhile and create with me!🥰
Oh, what a sweet dog. 🌝❣ I think tomorrow is a good day to sew one for my livingroom. Thank very much Lisa!
Thank you !! So happy I came across you here !! Adorable & perfect instructions :)
Hi Peggy, Welcome! I’m happy you found me too! Happy sewing 🥰
Adorable puppy...excellent tutorial. Thank you
I'm truly enjoying creating your animals and dolls for my granchildren. We have always had german shepherd dogs. Have you any patterns with that breed?
Hi Nell, wonderful breed! Perhaps I can create an Art quilt 🤔 Leave it with me!🥰🤗
thank you Lisa, this is my next project.
Happy sewing Farida!🥰
We’ve come a long way in a year my friend, thank you for you continued support ❤️
@@payitforward9442 its been a fantastic journey my friend. Xxx
THANK YOU! The holidays will be tight this year, but I plan to make some good gifts for my 4.5 yr old twins and this will be EXCELLENT for them using their old clothes with their favorite colors and characters 🤗💜
That is such a wonderful Idea! I love to upcycle fabrics when I can, I’m sure they will love their lil Pups!🥰
Came across your channel and absolutely love it! Thank you for your time, talent and sharing!
Hi Laura and welcome, I hope you’ll enjoy creating with me!🥰🤗
Love this little dachshund puppy! Reminds of my mom and dad's dog stretching out and sleeping like that.🙂❤

Love the fabrics you used for the dog💕
Thanks Judy, such a good pattern for scraps!🥰
Lisa, Thank you so much for sharing your patterns!! I just fell in love with the Easy Patchwork Dog and MADE TWO of them!! I had been in a real sewing 'block' where I couldn't get my mojo back, but these inspired me so much!! I'm thrilled !! Merry Christmas and happy New Year xxx,
This makes me sooo happy! We should never neglect our creative selves, I’m glad you’re back in the groove!🥰🤗
Hi Sherry, I hope you enjoy it! My next Tutorial is a Kitty! 😊🥰
@@payitforward9442 Awesome. I'm on board with that one too.
Thanks 🙏
Hi Lan Le, I so glad you have joined my sewing journey!🥰
How exciting, I have a new dog convert!😂, I actually love both cats and dogs! I’m glad you’re enjoying my projects! 🥰🤗
I have made two of them Lisa and they are adorable! I have another one cut out and will make it after Christmas. I would love to try the terrier as well, a beautiful way to remember your Shelby. Thank you so much for the patterns and excellent tuition. God bless the work and a very blessed Christmas. Naomi x
Hey Naomi! You have been busy! I hope you had fun, thank you for all your support , wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas 🥰🎄
