After witnessing the other night on 12/19/2023 were the Celtics played the Golden State Warriors and made franchised history by missing 41 3 pointers. 41 "3"pointers!!!!!! They lost in over time 132 - 126 with a dagger by Steph Curry. I have to call to attention for you folks that say the LEAGUE today is way better than the 90s as far as the physical play and mentality. That is a sick and I say very sick statement. Even this 1997 Celtics team that beat the Bulls on October 31, 1997, would kill the league now and easily win a chip. Take note of play by Antone Walker, Dana Borrow, Walter McCarty, Travis Knight, Ron Mercer, Andrew "the Gator" Delerq, Bruce Brown. Chauncey "True Point Guard" Billups, John Thomas, Dee Brown and Pervis Ellison. This 97 Celtics team played half court defense and was very effective in the Pitino's half court offense,. Jacking up lazy 3s was un heard and could get you benched!!!!! The problem with Adam Silver's NBA washed up league today is that he wants all entertainment which translate to run and shoot all 3s and play no defense. When the game is on the line, jack the 3. When your down by 1, jack the 3, when you in foul trouble, jack the 3, when your on a fast break alone, jack the 3. We're at the point of no return
