      Lakers, and I say this as a Cs fan. Who's going to stop prime Shaq on this Cs team?

    • @blueblur2273
      @blueblur2273 3 года назад

      It would be the Lakers easily. The Celtics couldn't even take the Nets to 7 games. That's not even going into the match-up disadvantages they had against the Lakers. Nets were a better defensive team and bigger than the Celtics which means Shaq dominates them even worse in the paint and on rebounds while Kobe has an even easier time scoring on them than he did on the Nets. The only little hope they have is if Walker and Pierce get hot like A.I. did in the Finals the year before. Other than that it's a complete squash. From 2000-2003 none of the top teams in the East could really hang with the top teams of the West(Lakers, Spurs, Kings, Blazers Mavs).

    LeBron beat this team in 07, in the playoffs. That game almost fell off the face of the earth.

    LeBron gets a lot of credit for carrying a garbage roster to the 2007 Finals. In the same vein, Paul Pierce should get credit for carrying this roster to the conference finals. Every Celtic not named Pierce looks like a complete scrub.

      lmao. It's not even the same level though. Pierce had Antoine Walker who averaged 22.1/ 8.8/ 5.0 in the regular season while LeBron and the Cavs beat a 53-win Pistons team in the Conference Finals.

      Allen Iverson's team is more comparable to LBJ's team because Pierce had Walker who was a solid scorer. Both the 01 Sixers and Cavs were great defensive teams who's offense centered around 1 great offensive player. A.I. had better defenders around him while LBJ had better shooters. Coincidentally Snow was on both teams. I'd say A.I.'s 01 run was more difficult and impressive than LBJ's 07 run though.

      @@suiken3149 Those 3 players didn't even average 38 PPG b/t them. Hughes was also shooting an atrocious 40% from the field (42% from 2-Point range).
