Thanks for your videos!!! I got the V2 yesterday. The videos didn't really prepare me for how quick this is!!! I'm going to clean it now after my morning run. Thanks for the tips!
Safety Tip: When using compressed air and a nozzle, wear safety glasses. Little pieces of dirt can blow back at high velocity and you don't want that crap in your eyes. 😎
@@lowridr2 Avoiding safety to be A man is stupid advice.. Sometimes I don't put safety glasses on when I'm using A grinder on metal but then I remember what can happen if small hot metal shards get launched into yo eyes..
I use a device called "Compu Clean" to blast air. It is better than cans and only about £30. Not as powerful as a compressor but not far off. Mine has lasted many years. You can also use it to clean computer keyboards...
Great idea. I would be tempted to use a vacuum cleaner before and after the air compressor, suck dust out from inside the esc. Did you use a simple car degreaser? Thanks for sharing.
Took me 4 days to strip down to last nut and bolt then cleaned each part then full rebuild do it one a month it gets faster and you get more confidence and see if anything is wrong
Agreed... Bought used infraction and tore it apart this winter to do all three diffs and replace bearings. It went from being an intimidating project to something I got way more comfortable with the more I worked on it
Thanks for a great and informative video btw ! Just yet another insentive for me to get a compressor! 🙈👍🏼 is this method not harsh on bearings and diffs ? Wondering if it could remove Oil from vital parts , how do you make sure that does not happen, maybe its not the case?
Thanks for sharing buddy. 👌 I have the Air, but I'm always worried about Saturated electronics, so I just blow car with my mini Air compressor & I use a 2" Paint brush to get into nooks n crannies that harbour dirt, bearings & exposed Pinions, Spurs etc....This means that I end up Stripping my RC"s down regularly to clean all components, more than I would like as I hate having dirty RC"s, This would save SO MUCH time!! Q Please Brandon. I'm in UK 🇬🇧 what Product would you recommend here that I could cover whole car /truck including electronics safely? TIA. #Spool
jason budd ✌🏻😎🏴I live in the uk too. We don’t have simple green. I use GT85 as a degreaser but you still need to avoid anything that needs oil or grease. Most of my rc’s are waterproof so I throw mine straight in the shower when I get back. Unless I plan to go out the next day too. Then I use the compressor to get the water off. Then I use a small brush dipped in GT85 to cover all the screws/hexes so they don’t rust. I don’t normally use GT85 as a rust inhibitor but it works well if you use it after every run. & like I said it’s better for rc’s because of the plastics & rubbers used in them👍🏻.
@@THEMASKEDMASTER Thanks for the heads up on the GT85 pal, I will check it out... I have specialist "Silicone" lubricant which waterproofs electronics, nourishing to plastics & more importantly its Safe with "Bearings" because as you stated, some solvent based like WD etc... Can remove grease from places you need like Bearings. I also worry about rusting out hex bolts etc... Not only looking bad but also once corrosion sets into hex bolts they could strip, then on the flip side if you cover them in a film of lubricant it just "attracts dirt" when you run the car, it's a vicious circle eh 🙄 Cheese fella 👍
Another great video thanks! Do you ever apply silicone spray or WD40 after the clean is done? I believe you live fairly coastal as do I. I have notice rust can start on things like screws or scratched metal quite quickly (24-48 hours). I typically spray silicone spray all over once it is clean and dry and put WD40 around all the drive cups/bearing seats. I know the WD can collect dust but it is also a water displacement which I think is more important but I would be interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks again!
I was thinking of doing that as you likely saw the wd40 next to the compressor. But since I'm using the infraction for speed next, It will attract dirt and dust that I don't want. If you aren't going to use the vehicle for awhile then hit it with wd
I hit mine with wd40 let it dip for a few then hit it ready good with the air compressor and wipe down what gets left behind with a microfiber. Just make sure that you get as much of it blown off as possible once its sits over night it doesn't seem to really catch dirt. Just my opinion not saying its right or wrong.
@@InnovationRC Ok thanks im building a infraction for speed runs only like 90-100mph but whats the best tires for that other then hoons or grp's any links for some?
I wouldn't suggest it. I'd blow dust off first with air. Then use degreaser to clean the vehicle without worrying about electrical issues. Degreaser has no water in the ingredients so you'll be safe with that

2:48 Nice Oneplus! Its pretty awesome when your phone doesn't get left behind your RCs in terms of speed!
Haha you noticed! I love it, needed to upgrade a few months ago
Was about to comment this same thing, love OnePlus :D

Yes your right. That's why I had my hand as a shield when I blew the car down first
Or you can be a man 👨

instablaster.
I don't have air compressor, I use wet and dry vacuum. Spray on, rinse and vacuum it to dry. Good vid👍

I use an ego leaf blower 56v. It's so strong it would compress the shock if spray top down. Gets all the dust off in 30sec
Simple Green does work great. And yes, put duct tape over any vent holes in tires. Seems to work good. Great video.
Thanks on that 💪

Very helpful and awesome video!
Thanks for keeping it simple for us.

Cool video I'm going to have to try that
Spool gear for speedruns incoming 😍
Yessir!
I was going to do the same to my infraction with the turbos on the hood. Great vid. 💯👍🏾
It's sexy!
Innovation RC most definitely bro. I can not wait to get my hands on these new rides.
nice video. what are the tires mounted in the video?
Wd40 works great too ✌🏻

Thanks on that man 💪

Don't be afraid. Degreaser is safe on electronics

thanks man answering our comments great channel wish I subbed way before
Anytime! I heard you guys ask it
Love the cars. Love the channel. Keep it up. 👍
get an ultra quiet compressor , you will love it
Get the Air Compressor, a 1.5hk 24l plug a Play 🤷🏽♂️ It is Only about 80-100$🤷🏽♂️
Well worth it…!!!!
Is this Chris Fix's RC channel?😊
Brand used now very nice 👍
Thanks Earl 😁
Infracción v2 comes as a roller to or where can i find the best deal on it right now miss the Black Friday sale
I'm just starting a RUclips channel! I have 25 subs. What would you recommend I do to get 100?

Great Vid' .... If only you had the "Benny Hill" music it would have been perfect ... Going to have to get myself a high powered compressor :)
That would be awesome if I did. Next time I'll do something? 😉
That air compressor isn't noisy?
#1 nice job fam💪🏾💯
Thanks Coach 👍💪
is simple green safe to spray on the felony’s electrical components?
Yes, Any electrical because it doesn't have any water mixed in
How did you set up the handbrake to work on the DX4S? I’m trying to set it up on the E switch but having no luck. I can’t get the servo to move.
What are those tires that are on it
so you don't wash off the dregreaser off the plastics? that doesn't seen right
#2 spoolgang...💪🏾💯
Yessir. Real soon
I wipe the dust and mud of with a brush and the I spray it with wd-40 and I rub it in...that’s how I do it
Nice video btw I may start doing it this way
Rider2006 1 ✌🏻😎🏴WD40 destroys plastics & rubbers. Use GT85. It’s kinder to plastics & rubbers & has ptfe in it👍🏻
Is Simple Green safe for electronics?
Yes sir!
is the spray or foaming simple green one better?
I'd say spray
@@InnovationRC Ok thanks im building a infraction for speed runs only like 90-100mph but whats the best tires for that other then hoons or grp's any links for some?
Nice 👍🏻, what tires are on it?
Aka 1/8 buggy tires

That's a big air compressor?! 😂
very nice thanks :)))
Glad you enjoyed it
What degreaser are you using? Thank you. Also nice job
Simple green. And thanks!
What tire do you use on infraction
Normally grps but they keep blowing out. I will be releasing a video tomorrow at 7pm with a new kind of tire.
I run the proline Avenger 1/8 belted buggy tires! S3 compound super soft, super grippy as well!!
Lol no washing off with water those chemicals off the plastics?
Dude ya done drove that thing to hell and back
Not yet, hell is scheduled next 😉
My issue is always bearings😞 and i need an air compressor
The new v2 infraction has rubber sealed bearings all around. Certainly will last longer in dirty conditions 😊
@@InnovationRC yeah mine is too but they are not really trully sealed if you get what i mean the outside will likely rust
😍😍😍
By chance anybody knows an alternative that's easier to get in europe?
