- Finally the Top speed out of the box test of a stock V2 Infraction. Certainly surpassed my expectations! Unfortunately there was a lot left and the esc didn't want to give any more power out. To each their own, very impressive out of the box speed!

Fantastic! I love the overlay for speed you've got! Would you mind sharing how you're doing that? I'm currently experimenting with speed in a TRX6. Currently at 57mph.
It's just on a GoPro. Basically it captures gps data that can overlay it through editing the video

I got mine up to 96.4 MPH on a Garmin GPS. All stock electronics on Hoons. The only modification was I trimmed the rear wing to the bottom line.
That's makes a huge difference! I wanted to see everything bone stock out of the box. Great results you got 💪
@@InnovationRC I got 95.9 MPH before I cut the wing. Only 0.5 MPH difference by cutting the wing down. So that was stock out of the box.

92 mph out of the box is " Haulin the Mail" for sure! To bad it doesn't come with a Blower like the Felony does, it might go 100mph,lol! New subscriber great video!

Nice run BUT most people would say stock out of the box speed run would be with the gear it came with fitted, if you fit the optional gear? It's not stock out of the box is it? Impressive run nonetheless
It's all out of the box means whatever used that comes out of the box, still considered stock. Optional speed gear is out of the box. Everything needed to go 90 mph is in the box.
Doing 0-60 in a sports car in comfort mode, is it the same as performance mode? It's included with the car just switch the mode. Different 0-60 speeds, performance and handling with higher end vehicles.

@@InnovationRC Wasn't saying it wasn't an awesome run just saying most other channels don't call it like that! My point kinda was how many people that picked up an infraction V2 have driven it tonight thinking it's maxed out at 92 when reality is probably about 60-62 stock out of the box. Indeed how many people watching this that have picked up an infraction v2 this week, think they've hit 92 but still have the optional gear left in the bag? A lot more than you'd think! As I say awesome run but sorry if it's stock out of the box that means nothings changed since you unpacked it.
The 0-60 modes you mention? Does that involve you or me changing the gear box on the our home auto to make it go faster 0-60? Also does that mean the car goes at a faster top speed or just faster to 0-60? No most 'sport' modes just make 0-60 faster and don't increase the top speed (Need a re-chip to do that on every auto I know of). Bad example to use. As I say nice runs but not stock out of the box. Anyone watching this new to RC might think they can buy one and run 92mph after putting the batteries in and changing, that was my only point. Sorry you can't see that. I'd like to see you test it with the stock gear. Awesome run though as you pulled 7mph than anyone else, which is good.
If people think they do 92 out of the box and somehow have selective hearing and didn't hear me say I changed to the speed gear AND didn't see me clearly show the larger pinion, well, it isn't an issue on me. Because I stated it more than once. Tell the "many" people, more than I think people, To strap a gps on! It makes speed more fun to take the guess work out! I feel your slightly exaggerating your statement to make it justifiable. I think we are going to far in this.
Out of the box with the gear they supplied and 92. Period.

Just getting into this speed thing as I’ve been mostly an off-road guy. How do you stop the cut-off? Larger connections from the battery/batteries, or like a Max5?

Ngl… kinda upsetting that the ESC would cut off when going flat out with the supplied pinion. You’d think it would ship out fully functional.
It doesn't cut off If you use 2 gens ace 6s packs wired parallel.

Impressive run. Obviously it's not a big deal just curious but a couple others have mentioned a included 27T pinion, you said 25T for the included speed pinion. Either way love the vids, keep it up👍

if the difference between this and the felony is the handbrake
then why do they cost the same
It's a variant of a vehicle. Like rustler, stampede and bandit. Basically the same but slight differences. Such as tires. Gears. Body mounting positions etc
I used 10,000 milliamps and that is cheap your batteries cool which help keep the ESC cool
I see you only used 1 side for battery pack but question for you , will it take 2 of 4S onyx batteries I believe they are 11,500 MAH

The esc has a separate programming card to adjust some settings

Thanks on that. A faster setup, geared up the esc will cutoff way sooner. So I will not be using spektrum electronics. Next video will be faster... MUCH faster

can anything be done to the stock esc to stop the cutting out? i have that same truck and the felony. have not putt speed gear in either of them yet. felony rear tires are shot and cannot get them

Unfortunately the esc kept cutting off at low 90s. So I changed the electronics and made a huge difference
If you remove the rear wing what happens?
I drive an infraction with no wing then.
Lol I'd say I want to keep it on for downforce, if I take it off. Less downforce and more speed but it won't be as stable in the rear.

@@InnovationRC I am just curious, as I see it, weight = speed. So the lighter the weight, the faster it's going to be. And also a little tougher to drive in a straight line! The heavier it is, the slower and easier to drive fast.

Over geared. I think you can go down a tooth to a 24 and likely get 93-94 or so hopefully if it doesn't cutoff

Not sure, it's cutting off from amperage. I believe if I really tuned it for that esc I can. But that would maybe be 99-100 mph. I want to go faster without the cutoff excuses...
