I really like the contrast between Pico’s raspy deep voice in the original and BF’s downright _angelic_ voice in BF Mix. You know I’m starting to see what Pico and GF see in him.
i think 1:02 is supposed to be darnell remembering that he has to kill bf which is why there are more notes and why that sound effect is there, and why the original theme returns in the instrumental
The silly cutesy noises in the background is so good to listen. I don't expect for them to make BF mix for Darnell but damn this song is actually kinda chilly and calm. The background somehow added that kinda quiet eerie hallways. The foggy environment mixed with rain weather is a nice choice of details.
Love how Pico and BF Mixes contrast so much when put one next to the other, the change in the overall vibe of the battles as well as the idea you get for the characters based on little details during the songs is amazing
