Thank you! That was the best demo I've seen on the W.Mankiller P die clash. I have a few and haven't really seen a whole lot about the clash. 🤓 Just subbed to you channel 👍

If you look closer you will see small letters exposed in open areas as well!
I’ll have to revisit my copies of this die clash to see if there are any letters showing up. Thanks for watching and contributing your observations.

@@ajmartineau8221 Well now you know. 😎
I found the die clash on this coin but it shows partial letters of her name on under Washingtons ear. I have not seen them for sale of any video on that clash. I found about 5 of them in a P mint bag. Have you heard or seen the one with the letters of her name?
Not sure that you would see any part of her name behind Washingtons ear, on the obverse of the coin. I for one have not seen it and I don't think its possible because the die does not line up like that.
can you post photos on my FB page link provided here.

@@coinmojo I know I was surprised by it, but I have 5 of them, well struck clear letters. The letters do align because they are behind the ear like under the hairline on his neck, I said it wrong. Its the very tips of her name, I can not remember what letters exactly because I just put them away with out too much thought. A picture would be easier to explain. When I first heard of the strike thru found for this coin I thought they were all like that. Turns out I have only seen the ones with lines. I will send pics in to the Live Q&A group for there opinion. By the way I got them out of a Mint Quarter P bag that I have a subscription to the AWQ series. Thank you for your response.
@@sanchezhandymen3444 ok good luck. A strike through is different then a die clash. I looked at my overlay demonstration in my video and when I look at the obverse and reverse die clash possibilities I see her name would run above George Washington’s ear and both dies have a pattern that couldn’t touch each other when the dies touch each other so a strike through would be a more likely clause of what you are describing. I’d really like to see it.
@@coinmojo I would love for you to take a look at it because I am still learning and I am not the most seasoned collector so I'm defiantly not sure what it is, I can send you photos to look at it maybe help me identify what it is exactly. I looked for an e mail to send photo but did not see it on your channel. How can I get the photos to you?
@@sanchezhandymen3444 click on the link I provided in my first response.
The very best explanation I have seen

i found a 2022 p with a die chip (I think thats called that) on george washinton nose..has anybody seen one like that?
Yes it’s legit! Cool find. Thank for the comment!
Michael schenker nice....
Thank you!
ok i have a coin know one have with error 2022 d wilma mankiller qurter die clash and also wilma mankiller side is copper and George Washington side is silver i never seen anything like
That’s pretty cool. The copper on one side is considered an improper planchet error and can sell for $20 - $100 dollars or more if in good condition. Modern coins are made of 3 layers 2 outer layers made of nickel with middle layer mode of a pure copper core, so it sounds like one of the outer layers is missing.
I thought the high points on the coin were the lowest points in the die??
Yes, the Highpoint on the coin are the lowest points in the die so the background of the coin are the highest points on the die so when the reverse die and obverse die bang against each other, those high points will leave impressions on the opposite dies. and then, when they strike a coin, those impressions will be transferred into the Coin
I still can’t visualize it. It just seems that the flat areas would clash because the raised areas on the coin would be depressed on the die and wouldn’t leave an impression.
@@Cobaltis49 you are correct.
The edges of the design are at the high points. It seems confusing to me at first until I did a deeper study using overlays and reversing the images using power point and matched up the clashing on the coins I found and it all came together.
Like the eyelid between letters on the obverse. To make the eyelids on the obverse the dies design in that area is actually very high and would be one of the areas that would bang against the the reverse die leaving an impression or clashing on the that surface which shows up between the letters In MANKILLER
@@Cobaltis49 so yes the flat areas or fields of the design are high spots on the die. But so are some of the details within the design. And when those details come in contact with the flat surfaces of the opposing die they can leave impressions in those flat surfaces. As in clashing marks.
I got them and wanted to sell them
That’s great. Have you checked eBay to see what they’re selling for today? I actually sold one of these for 24 bucks when I first found one, on eBay, but I’ve had one listed for three months now for $12.95 and haven’t been able to sell it.
So it looks like I’m going to have to lower my expectations. And my price.
